There are some websites that can be trusted, the trick is to find the right ones. Maybe start by doing some reviews of your own and then seeing which review websites match your opinions - then you can trust those websites.

ICOs, or at least the idea behind them, will become mainstream as regulation comes into force on a global scale, which I expect to happen by the end of this year.

What do you guys have to say about the ongoing season ?
Have you read the books? I know they're not as far along but there are a few quite important events that occur differently. Well worth reading if you have the time.

A lot of good points here but I would also add:
- Check if the project team are active at events.
- Does the project have a MVP? If so it's a strong sign that it's legitimate.

There's no reason to be afraid of KYC. Uncomfortable, it takes a lot of time? All this is nonsense ... Some companies already use the services of third-party organizations that provide the opportunity to verify the identity of their database. You can correct the data, but you do not need to perform the initial work to enter your data.
How is there no reason to fear KYC?? You transmit your personal data to some unknown hands, the company that you require, gives you own the same data. How many cases have already been that all of this leaked out to the Internet and none of it is not responsible. For example, as an option, according to KYC, you can look for people who have invested a lot of money in projects, then come to their home knowing their home address and extort money. Are you scared ? A zero knowledge proof self-sovereign identity solution would solve this. That's what Blockpass is aiming to provide: blockpass.org

Learn to eat healthily on a budget. Buy cheap foods, such as oats, brown rice etc...
Have more nights in with a few cans of beer with mates, instead of going on expensive nights out to pubs and clubs.
These in particular are big ones. Cooking from scratch is so much cheaper than buying ready-made meals our eating at a restaurant. Likewise, drinking out is far more expensive than a night in. I find keeping an eye on bank balances through mobile apps helps.

Interpol are already using the bitcoin network to track criminals. Representatives from the organisation have spoken at events to describe this.

Charlie Lee, creator of Litecoin, plans for the network to be used alongside the Bitcoin blockchain — even when proposed scalability solutions come into force on both networks.

New Zealand is breathtaking, especially if you're a fan of LOTR
This has always been on my list since Fellowship of the Ring came out. Any suggestions on where to go and what to see?

It's no more of a bubble than gold. Limited supply, unable to be faked, usable as currency. Unless it is hacked, long-term Bitcoin has no reason to fail.

KYC is becoming increasingly standard in the crypto space and it should be viewed as a positive as it gives the average person more trust in what they could become involved in. When blockchain and crypto go mainstream we'll all benefit. KYC should really be done before anything else but you need a convenient and self-sovereign solution like Blockpass to get people on board.

Do you have a list of events you will be attending in the near future?

As blockchain and cryptocurrency becomes more mainstream (and it is coming, it will just take time), the volatility should decrease as the FUD around the space decreases.
The adoption of the tech will improve as it becomes more regulated and people/governments begin to trust it.
