I don't think Eth is really pegged to Bitcoin like other alts. So it affected differently by Bitcoin. Though Bitcoin still has big influence over it.

What attracted you to an ICO?
What attacted me...was the passage an ICO offers across the river sticks of venture capital. What attracted me, was an informed disdain for traditional fiat currency, it's paper stained with the greasy finger prints of your banks and your mints. What attacted me was cryptocurrencies fundamental anonymity that sheilds private transactions from the peering green eyes of the all knowing governmental overlords. Does that answer your Question? hahahahaha

Not more of a cult than say being hardcore pro a sports team or player, a brand like Apple or Google, and many, many, many other things.

I think even the majority of veteran traders will end up losing money so instead I buy solid coins and hodl. I'm currently accumulating as much AMB as possible in order to get a master node . In one or two years once adoption really takes off I'll forget about crypto and just earn passive income everyday.
You should mention the name of the coin, because most people will not know what AMB is. What coin is that? |

Doge coin is good to test out sending and receive money, since each doge is worth so little. It's good to practice sending and receiving.

I feel that it's a paid ad, like all other ads. Low quality ad may I add. I can't even explain it, like, "Buy this because Mcafee thinks it's going to go 8x." You have to be naive to go, "Oh wow!, Really?"

I say hold, but with a mixture of both. As be patient as if you were fishing and just wait for the right time to sell. And when that time comes, just wait for the right time to buy again, which could be days, weeks, months. That seems to make the most sense to me.

I decided to quit ICO's. - massive hardcaps
- most is sold in pre-sale to big investors, leaving scraps for crowdsale
- much attention to marketing, less to working product or realistic time lines
- immediately available on EtherDelta and IDEX, sure sign of little interest in token economics/future
- no lock on pre-sale tokens, whales take their x2, x3 or x-whatever as soon as possible (I would probably have done the same). Prices drop to below ICO price.
- too many ICO's without distinctive differences.
- too many ICO's in general
- too much tokens reserved for team/marketing
- many ICO's don't even have a crowdsale anymore (which perhaps is a good thing as the little investors are protected this way)
- ICO prizes are quite high. 1eth = 1000/4000 tokens is pretty common, but with a hc of 40 million, this will not easily go x10 or more.
Those are great reasons, except that if it's an Eth token, then it's automatically on Etherdelta. But I won't touch any ICOs and I'm going to focus more on things like bounties. |

Biggest mistake was not getting into crypto years ago, and getting into it a couple of months ago. Ouch.

You could say that all types of currency eventually fails. Crypto is a new type of currency, but it might end up failing one day. We don't know. Many do. Sure they are shit coins, but they were a currency.

I don't know much about investing in things other than Cryptos, BUT, I did recently buy a Nintendo Switch, because there was an architectural flaw that allows one to by pass the system security and run your own code. And since Nintendo will eventually fix that with future models, I bought it because the current Switch are going to command an premium in the future.

Hello! Thank you for your question KYC is required for all procedures with security tokens  Why ur token is security?? Would not it be better to issue utility tokens? According to SEC if token is traded on any exchange or has any price growth method (such as burning) it’s equal to security tokens. So token of any ICO is a security if to be honest. We are absolutely legal company. We oblige every participant (even bounty users) to pass KYC procedures. And we do not accept money from not accredited investors from USA, Canada, Singapore, etc. But other tokens have bounties that do not require a KYC, why do they get away with it. I'm just trying to understand. |

I believe this to be a very real and promising project, but how much do you think the negative rating in the OP affects the coin? Is there anything that can be done about that? What would happen if you guys get a new thread with a new account?

Yeah, this looks more attractive and are a friendly type. I like the color combination and the simplicity. I'm not sure. It looks neat, but at the same time too generic. Kind of reminds me of South Park. |

Why is Poloniex volume so low? Back when I was more into Crypto they were the number one exchange. Now everything is Binance. But how could Poloniex go from number 1 to number 24? Where they hacked or something?
No one can guarantee that an exchange will be top forever. Especially when new exchanges keep sprouting every day. Would really suck to pay for top 3 exchange prices, just so that a couple of years later it will have Kucoin type volume. |
