Hey guys, we start a new Bounty. You can join and try the dApp.

We start a new Bounty. You can join and try the dApp in a few minutes.

Christmas Bounty ❄️ 🥳

🎄 "Swapping December" 🎄

One of all swaps executed on Jelly in December will win 300$. On the 2nd of January, we will select one random address (live 🎥 ) which will receive 300 DAI.
Start swapping! 🎁

https://jelly.market/

can you explain it more about how we can join the bounty?
and one more when will your exchange is live which mean using main network?

Hi, it is very simple - you just go to https://app.jelly.market/ and execute a swap. It takes a few minutes even less. At the moment you can choose to swap ETH, BTC, TRX.
DAI is coming soon. We are also working on EOS and AE.
If you need help with the swap, you can watch this video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=8gFrEhnrjLA&feature=emb_logo

The idea is for you to test the dApp. One of all swaps will be randomly selected for the reward.
Please, if you find any bugs or something confuses you, write here or in Discord so that we can fix it. https://discord.gg/3fCbp9U

29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your favorite project these days? on: November 22, 2019, 12:53:00 PM

https://app.jelly.market/ We just launched on the testnet.

Simple overview:

1. Cross-chain atomic swaps allowing seamless asset exchange between different networks.
2. Liquidity providers (i.e. market makers) will be able to provide on-demand liquidity by simply running a docker image. Whenever a swap request is initiated by the user (on-chain) the market maker with the best price will be picked.
3. Similar to UniswapExchange pools, but without the locking of funds - they just have to be available in the market maker's wallet whenever a user initiates a swap.

Next steps:

1. Soon users will be able to use BTC to lend and borrow using Compound through the jelly_swap interface. And hopefully any other dapp.
2. AE and EOS are already in the works and shall be available in December.
3. A mobile app is also coming in the foreseeable future.

Go try the dApp. Leave feedback - highly appreciated.

Have in mind that at the moment Tron network is not working and the Tron team promised to fix it during the weekend. You can try with BTC.

We also have bounty and you can join - https://twitter.com/jelly_swap/status/1196367215928528897

We just launched a new dApp and we have a Bounty at the moment. We will keep to the promises. if you want you can go and check it: https://twitter.com/jelly_swap/status/1196367215928528897

Jelly Swap enables cross-chain swaps between different blockchains. You can swap ETH, BTC, TRX. It is decentralized and nearly feeless. It is close to UniSwap but connects different blockchains and coins. Anyone can become a liquidity provider and he/she does not need to lock their assets in a smart contract, rather they can just simply store them in their own wallet. A bridge to Compound will soon be added so that you can finally start using BTC for lending and borrowing. A mobile app is coming and more blockchains to be implemented - EOS and Aeternity come next. Right now you can try it on the testnet. (As you probably know Tron network is not working at the moment but you can try with BTC, just don't forget that it will take 10 min for the transaction to go through because of the mining.)

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 21, 2019, 03:42:26 PM
It is a matter of time for Bitcoin to become easier to use and more widely accepted.
But first, we have to solve the interoperability issues between the different blockchains and to start using the full potential of the tech stack as a whole.

In fact, there are some dApps already solving this issue: https://app.jelly.market/ . This is a dApp that executes cross-chain swaps between different blockchains, hence you can exchange BTC for ETH, or dump your TRX for BTC. The project will also integrate a bridge to Compound so that you can finally start lending and borrowing with BTC.

This is how we should search for ways to use BTC in our everyday life and not just hodl our BTC as safe haven asset.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Millennials Increasingly Prefer Bitcoin to Gold or Real Estate on: November 21, 2019, 03:37:16 PM
Today we see broad parts of society, millennials especially, acting increasingly critical of central bank interventionism. At the same time technologists, at an accelerating pace, are developing an array of tools that allow for disruption of the economic status quo. In a decade the millennial generation is projected to have the highest earning power of all generations, and this tech-savvy post 9/11 generation has encryption to its disposal as a defensive technology. Meanwhile the bitcoin ecosystem is maturing in all aspects of its economy, in particular in deposit banking, insurance, lending and derivatives, and early forms of life insurance. If this process persists, bitcoin’s layered protocol suite could become a global powerhouse and a potential alternative to the IMFS.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks Are Never There When You Need Them - That's Why We Need Bitcoin on: November 21, 2019, 03:36:03 PM
This is why an alternative system is being built by technologies such as Bitcoin, blockchain and DeFi. And it becomes more and more advanced.
We can now enjoy deposit banking, insurance, lending and derivatives, and early forms of life insurance on the blockchain. It is a matter of time to solve the interoperability issues between the different blockchains and use the full potential of the tech stack.

There is a huge amount of good developers in the sphere are a real chance to create a better parallel system.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? Apparently, some weird shit. on: November 21, 2019, 03:17:08 PM
If you don't find anything useful to buy with Bitcoin, you can then at least land and borrow in Compound to gain some interest and to earn money.

We just released a new dApp that will make a bridge to Compound so that you can finally use BTC there.

The dApp is released on the testnet. https://app.jelly.market/

It is a cross-chain atomic swaps allowing seamless asset exchange between different networks, for example, BTC for ETH. It works similar to Uniswap but connects different blockchains.

Soon users will be able to use BTC to lend and borrow using Compound through the jelly_swap interface. And hopefully any other dapp.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FINALLY- we can now exchange coins between different blockchains on: November 21, 2019, 11:22:58 AM
Unique concept, but makes me a little more doubtful. I am confused by how it can work completely, this problem starts with a cross chain or different. Your website is quite interesting to look at, like Coinbase. But try to explain in detail, Every network, chain and node how it all works. Because many people are laymen and are afraid to get caught, maybe that's the reason why they aren't interested. Such a concept, I like it, because the current exchange is annoying, having to verify KYC and waiting for a deposit / withdrawal requires Exchange confirmation time, before it is recorded by the blockchain.

We will definitely prepare such a paper. For now, you can look at the white paper https://jelly.market/documents/Jelly-Swap-Ecosystem.pdf , the explanation of the Atomic Swap https://medium.com/jelly-market/the-technology-behind-jelly-ecc401348bcb?source=friends_link&sk=1369e2468c6261829f796895b1a93224 or GitHub (which soon will be updated as well) https://github.com/weichain

Everything should be working now - you can check it.
The testnet version is stable Wink

i just check it and everything works great but why my old pending transaction has gone too?
before the MT i already has a pending transaction worth 5 ETH but now its gone

Maybe something happened during the updates right before the launch. Can you approach our chief developer in Telegram @kraykov_weidex. He would be happy to assist and give you guidance on how to withdraw them.
