22  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you HODL because you believe the price will go up? Or are you lost too much? on: November 17, 2018, 06:44:55 PM
Isn't that what hodling is?  Cheesy

We all hold in hopes of the value and price going up
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs EOS vs NEO vs MOAC vs ICON vs ADA on: November 17, 2018, 06:43:57 PM
If the chart is going to compare the possibility of Proof of stake it should also state the minimums required to stake.  The ideal for staking is to reduce the involvement in transaction confirmation to anyone with a wallet but I read Ethereum  requires 32 eth to take part and its done in a higher level way that will exclude alot of people from taking part.   POS is an ideal standard for decentralisation but still protocols seem to be aimed at addressing the largest components of a network forgetting the essential 'bit' part of crypto imo.   I still think the smallest parts of an economy are its driving force and most neglected, ideal for crypto to address

great points. I do like that moac allows you to choose your consensus model. And I like that they have many layers of their blockchain to handle different tasks.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 100 coin BUT only on TWO exchanges?! on: November 17, 2018, 06:42:41 PM
I heard about this coin during their ico and joined in for that. going to check out that webinar
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy Apple products with crypto!!! on: July 02, 2018, 07:59:59 PM
It is very nice to see that big companies like Apple start accepting cryptocurrencies, we are still at the beginning and there is a lot of work to do to be accepted by many other companies for daily payments. I hope that there will soon be a general regulation, and the final legalization of cryptocurrencies in the various countries, to speed up this process

It's not apple accepting crypto, but it's Havven's estore. https://havven.io/
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in stablecoins?? on: July 02, 2018, 07:55:12 PM

yes i agree. You should also read this if you're into Havven: https://medium.com/@reecebarclay/the-crypto-stable-coins-that-you-need-to-know-about-14f86f3bd68e
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto stablecoins you need to know about on: July 02, 2018, 07:42:13 PM
Interesting article. Was a good read. However, I don't think that there is a stable coin or token in this extremely volatile cryptocurrency market. Every single coin and token is prone to extreme fluctuations in the short term and long term in this sensitive market. Among the coins mentioned in the article, Havven seemed legit in my opinion while Tether seems unreliable after the recent drama in my opinion. Never heard about TrueUsd and MakerDao, but they have definitely peaked my interest currently.

Havven is my favorite for many reasons:

-decentralized
-not pegged to fiat
-dual token system is very interesting
-great team
-lots of partnerships
-been committed to delivering on their timeline ahead of time
-the dual token system is very fast
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HAVVEN — Decentralised and asset-backed STABLECOIN on: July 02, 2018, 07:40:17 PM
Due to the lack of business milestones,it is still unclear how will be adopted, Howen. It is not clear who will use the platform outside of those involved in the ICO. Although Haven, it seems, still figuring out your target market, if they can really create a sustainable ecosystem, it can have a positive effect on the broader market.

what are you talking about lack of business milestones? Out of all of the ICO's I've invested in, havven has been the most proactive IMO. They've announced tons of partnerships and even launched nUSD ahead of schedule lol. Don't know what you're talking about  Huh
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Coins to Buy on Idex on: July 02, 2018, 07:37:41 PM
Hello,

Many ICOs are listed on Idex as their first exchange. Many of those coins drop over 50% in price and even much more. I want to know which ICOs are listed on small exchanges, like IDEX, that are SUPER cheap. Please list projects that are still active and have great plans/a great team.

I'm ready to buy some of these ICOs that have dumped more than 50% of the ICO price before the bull market.

You should really look into Havven. Stablecoin going up against tether but not pegged to fiat. https://havven.io/

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eUSD is now on mainnet!! on: April 16, 2018, 11:00:21 PM
i am sooo excited for havven. All they have to do is keep up this momentum  Grin
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Blockchain of data privacy is coming on: April 16, 2018, 10:59:29 PM
Saw this really good read talking about facebook's cambridge analytica/data exploitation scandal and how that's bringing about new companies that are changing the relationship between data and users: https://www.blockchainmagazine.net/facebooks-blunder-ignite-blockchain-data-privacy-movement/

What do you guys think?
32  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What will happen when facebook gets replaced by blockchain?? on: April 16, 2018, 10:49:50 PM
Algebraix is a good project but I think you meant for the advertising side of facebook, which is like 90% of it lol. If I'm not seeing stupid videos, I'm seeing an ad if not a video ad pushed by a company. I love that with their platform we get compensated for our attention and get ads that we're actually interested in. I see a lot of potential that they bring for the ad space tho
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Battle of the stablecoins on: April 16, 2018, 10:42:19 PM
havven is my favorite. best project and best team. lots of ways they can push expansion/adoption too
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] HAVVEN — Decentralised and asset-backed STABLECOIN on: April 16, 2018, 10:36:12 PM
big fan of this project and looks like they're gaining even more momentum after seeing them in the press. can't wait for havven-backed nomins!!!
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AIRDROP] ALGEBRAIX - Permission-based advertising platform. Own your data on: April 16, 2018, 10:34:48 PM
I downloaded the app to join phase 2 and I'm seriously very impressed with the content, UI, team, and vision. Also the fact that you guys have music on the app?!? gamechanger because watching ads is very different from listening to music. I see lots of potential
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Havven (stablecoins) will be the next big thing I tell you on: April 16, 2018, 10:32:35 PM
With the current stablecoin environment being Tether (scam) and MakerDAO, I think there's TONS of potential for Havven to flourish. (Article: https://news.bitcoin.com/meet-the-stablecoins-taking-on-tether/)

Why?

-not pegged to gold or fiat
-completely decentralized/trustless
-dual token system
-CEO is also owner of Blueshyft (ios payment network in over 1200 locations in australia)
-team is solid
-eth-backed nomins are live on mainnet just weeks after ICO sold out successfully in 90 minutes
-***they already posted their audit: https://blog.havven.io/read-the-eusd-audit-report-by-sigma-prime-9540f0cb5464

What do you guys think?
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Future of advertising will be blockchain/data sovereignty on: April 16, 2018, 10:29:37 PM
I think the future of advertising lies in permission/consensual relationships between advertisers and customers. Good article about that: https://medium.com/@theurbanejournalist/big-data-big-business-big-money-is-blockchain-a-solution-ff6fa5b3000a

I see lots of potential in what Algebraix is doing. Has anyone been following them? they even have an app out right now
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The stablecoins taking on Tether on: April 16, 2018, 10:27:44 PM
Thought this was a good read about the stablecoin offerings. Out of all of them which one's your favorite?? https://news.bitcoin.com/meet-the-stablecoins-taking-on-tether/

Mine's havven because they're decentralized and not pegged to fiat/gold.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do you spend on bounty campaigns? on: April 16, 2018, 10:26:33 PM
You can make quite a bit doing them. There's a really good one going on right now for algebraix. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3173983.0
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ICO is best for investment ? on: April 16, 2018, 10:25:49 PM
Mehh... neither. been really into algebraix lately though. you get paid to watch ads while keeping your personal data private. https://algebraix.io/
