Thanks. I am now getting 500+ khash with vert-0.5.3. But has HW error. Will need to get some more RAM for my system.
So Solo mining basically means that the miner will connect to the wallet to request for blocks and communicate with the rest of the network...I am now ready to solo mine the next new altcoin...yay
Care to share your vertminer settings? C:\Users\kokhong\Downloads\vertminer-0.5.3\vertminer-0.5.3\vertminer -o http://127.0.0.1:32768 -u user -p pass --scrypt-vert -w 256 -I 13 -g 2 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-engine 1050 --gpu-powertune -10 --thread-concurrency 6912 --auto-fan --queue 0 --temp-target 70 --temp-overheat 85 --gpu-fan 60-95 That gives me around 260 khash per card. Oh wow I hit another block...82 ALT...nice Sounds about right. I misunderstood earlier and thought you had achieved 500 KHash per card.

i have error -4 in altminer ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) How much RAM do you have? Altminer requires more RAM than regular scrypt mining.

i'm a noob, when solo, where to set the deposit address? where does the coins go?
No need to set deposit address. Keep your wallet open and coins will go directly into your wallet.

If you really want in you can mine on a VPS. 2CPU droplets at Digital Ocean are producing 90 Khash/s.

So that got me this far. /usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.6/include/emmintrin.h:32:3: error: #error "SSE2 instruction set not enabled" In file included from anime.c:15:0: ... make: *** [all] Error 2

Exchange functions extremely well. Definitely exceeded my expectations for functionality and responsiveness. There are bigger exchanges out there that could learn a thing or two from https://www.scifi-ex.com.

TiberiuC - thanks for the data point. It looks like multiple 2CPU's are more effective than one 8CPU.

So DEV is Asian? (Used google translate)
Not sure that matters. Metiscoin has supporters around the world. Here is what we do know about syswt: - syswt was new here on Jan 19
- syswt released the Metiscoin on Jan 20
- sywst has a VPS of 10Mbps
- sywst is the second most mysterious dev in the history of cryptocurrency
Here is what we do not know about syswt: - Age/Gender/Location/Purpose
- Inspiration behind the Metiscoin
- Was syswt a former Craigslist developer? (see the website)
- When syswt will reveal himself/herself

As a noob, I thank you for publishing this guide. Any MTS wallet for tips?

a lot of people having problems. ive been waiting over 10 hrs. not even pending yet ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) I just had a small transaction post 14 hours after I sent it. I had a couple larger transactions go through start-to-finish in less than 30 minutes during that 14 hours. Maybe cryptsy is prioritizing larger transactions?
