Ninja premine is where ninjas come take the premine from the scam developer and throw the coins like shurikens at miners.

People keep throwing shade at SilkCoin. It's fairly transparent that the community has a good head on their shoulders. If it were a crapcoin, nobody would try to bring us down.
And remember, with SilkCoin every day is humpday.

the only node i'm connected to is 54.194.99.126:11085

I'm also running the wallet 24/7. I don't have enough hash to solo mine though. I'll try throwing my measly 80 kh/s at it anyways. Hopefully a pool opens up soon.

What port does this wallet connect on? Bitcoin takes up too many resources but I wouldn't mind running a public node for this alongside my KOIN node.
It doesn't matter what port you configure it to, does it? Here's what my conf looks like. maxconnections=25 daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 rpcuser=HannahMontana rpcpassword=fakepassword addnode=54.194.99.126 addnode=96.240.236.221 rpcallowip=192.168.2.* port=17505 rpcport=17506 rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

Why is the http://gc-pool.ddns.net/miley/public/ pool have more Pool Hash than the Network Hash? Is this an error? If it's not an error, is MCC going to have a 51% attack? Or in this case, a 100% attack? Not sure on the finer points of the attacks, but yeah... I know it's good to separate hashing power, at least.

I'm confused. Was "proof of twerk" a joke? Or is it a joke AND slang for proof of stake?
IE: Are there any bells and whistles or do we just mine this?

Good to see some volume. There should be a contest every month to catch people who may have forgotten about it or passed over it.

That's a lot of spartancoin...

Thank you Glen. I was wondering if the pool would ever crack a block XD

Please don't change the name or the logo. Change the algo, add stake, security, and add something USEFUL. The age of digital cryptocommodities have come to an end.

Ok, seriously. . .I've been trying to get past block 9504 for a few days now and it won't let me. I'm about ready to give up.
Try the following (you only need to download one, I just put up two links in case one did not work): Download (Mega)Download (MediaFire)This is my Zimstake blockchain. 1) Make sure the Zimstake client is closed. 2) Delete everything in you Zimstake Appdata folder (except the wallet.dat file of course). 3) Extract the files from the .zip and place them in your Zimstake AppData folder. 4) Open Zimstake client. Let me know if this works for you! This worked. Thanks.

Wait, that icon was on accident? I feel a little less silly now. I've been sitting here disgruntled, thinking it was on purpose.

I can't seem to get the wallet to sync past 6.95%. I tried -rescan and I tried a clean install on both 1.0.1.4 and 1.0.1.5. I've also copied most of the pertinent info from the OP to a .conf file
I have a few ZS on a pool, but I'm not transferring them to the wallet until I can get it to work. Any help would be appreciated.
went through that today. try restarting the wallet after it stops updating. Do so until you download first 12k blocks - after that the things go smoother. Probably there were too many orphan blocks in the beginning and that is what causes the sync stops. Thanks. I've been trying this all night. I got stopped at 9501 and I made it to 9504. So...I'm making a little progress.

Whatever happened to POS? Are there any new developments for the coin or are we waiting til it gets on the exchanges?
|
|
|
Poloniex seems to have taken it down.
Does anyone still have any interest in this? I really was hoping it would have some usefulness. I didn't expect it to be too terribly rare, but we could revive it a fourth time. Who's in?
Would it be possible to update it? Add anonymous transactions, or a fancy POS system the gives interest based on sun cycles or something like that?

We had a server upgrade, need to recompile, cant find the source anywhere, and the main website is down.
PCN is being removed from AllCrypt.com, it's dead.
