Ripple has a very large market cap currently but seems to be quite stable/"stack" around 0.6 usd. I don't think there would be quick rise too soon, but in the next year or two it could definitely cross 5 usd. If you don't have patience enough I suggest that you study the current graph and sell quickly when the price rise, then you buy back more Ripple when the prices fall.

Not only do you contribute to the dump through panic selling; you also regret later on and wish you had never sold so cheaply when the FUDs have died down and the prices begin to rise again. Panic sellers are one of the thwarts of the crypto markets.

Not every coin is worth holding. Some will just become worthless no matter the time you hold it for. In crypto learn, be patient and go with your guts and never regret. It's good to set a target for yourself or else you'd hold your investments forever..lol

It looks like there are thousands of suggestions here and everyone seem to trust the ICO they invested in. I think you should read very well about any ICO you want to invest in. How quickly do they respond to your questions? How prepared are they to start the ICO? What experience does the team have relating to the project ? Make sure you have answered these questions well before investing in an ICO.

The taxes governments take from Exchanges, ICOs and token sales should be enough. I don/t know how it would be possible to tax individual crypto owners apart from the government taking sums of money from Exchanges which may consequently affect crypto owners during transactions.

It is normal for governments to fear the power of blockchain technology. What blockchain is doing is that it is making every transaction so clear and transparent that there are no cheats. Everyone is powerful because we all have copies of every transaction happening and there is no centralized node that controls all other transactions. This technology is dispersing power to everyone so the governments are uncomfortable.

So far I've seen people praising bitcoin for it's investment prowess. For bitcoin to be a true currency I believe most of the Pioneers who believe in bitcoin could begin to accept it as means for payment of goods and services they offer. When this is successful more investors will begin to join and companies will love to accept bitcoin as a means of payment.
