21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BT 1 and ET 1 (ETNs) Suspended by the SEC on: September 10, 2018, 05:35:30 AM
Hah!

So it is another bowling pin down!

This is almost like a fun game for the SEC.

And there I was thinking they are seriously considering CBOE xD

Now, AFAIK, this is just to play with the market and test investor confidence.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: September 30, 2018 - SEC ETF Ruling on: September 09, 2018, 08:13:31 AM
The SEC is not really considering any new applications, because they already came up with a good excuse to deny all applications. They do not want anyone to manipulate the Bitcoin price and this is what they are using as an excuse to deny all applications. So, until VanEck-SolidX or anyone else figure out how to prevent or to stop price manipulation, we will see the same excuse being used.

The only method to do this is to only use US exchanges to determine the price of the ETFs and no global exchanges.  Undecided

+1 to you.

Needed all your views on this and I feel that this is way it is gonna be.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Settled at ~$6400 for now? on: September 08, 2018, 05:49:07 PM
ignoring the highs. if you concentrate on the lows. and see where the lowest price of 3-6-10-12 month
you will see that bitcoin has always been on an upward movement

2016:  >$300
2017:  >$900
2018:  >$5,800

people need to realise the bull-bear switch over is not something that happens hourly or daily.
bull and bear are the longer term directions.

maybe what the financial buzzworders should use is
short term up = Calve (young bull)
short term down = Cub (young bear)

bitcoin has been bull but does get occassional calve and cub events

Yes. +1

We could get used to these terms. Would make talks precise.
24  Economy / Speculation / Settled at ~$6400 for now? on: September 08, 2018, 04:51:39 PM
Goldman Sachs.

CBOE proposal.

BlackRock ETF.

Rolls Royce Dealership accepting Bitcoins.

September has and will be seeing a lot.

I can feel the heat. The bulls are coming. Something is gonna happen before December for sure.

Be strong.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rolls Royce is accepting bitcoins on: September 07, 2018, 11:30:17 AM
first of all you should always provide the link to news like this when you report it since you have already read it somewhere yourself! secondly one dealership accepting bitcoin is not the same as the company accepting bitcoin! so you can't use that title , it is wrong.

I believe that the post was short and clear enough for a user to understand its ramifications.

I am sure we are not journalists out here but simple sharers of knowledge.

Here is another link to the same article for your ease - https://auto.ndtv.com/news/now-you-can-buy-a-rolls-royce-using-bitcoins-in-the-usa-1912875
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rolls Royce is accepting bitcoins on: September 07, 2018, 10:55:51 AM
Well, it seems even Rolls Royce could not stop and get a taste of dealing in Bitcoins.

I sincerely feel that this will motivate other major brands to follow.

And as far as the ETFs go, I think they shall simply pass.

SEC has already given the same response too many times for new ETFs proposal to not ignore.

Bitcoin however, will see another bull run soon.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / BlackRock ETF, Antonopoulous and the Bitcoin Bubble on: September 07, 2018, 03:18:26 AM
If anxiety over the upcoming verdict (30th September) on the CBOE proposal was not enough, here we have the World's largest Asset Management company, BlackRock partnering with Coinbase to launch a new Bitcoin ETF.

Aside from this, Bitcoin evangelist Andreas Antonopoulos outright negates the positive sides of any Bitcoin ETF that may be launched.

He says that this is another bubble waiting to burst. As if the crypto-world did not have enough bubbles to deal with already. Grin

I really wish to understand where all this is going. I honestly am beginning to feel that we cannot really bank on anyone.

Not even Wall Street or the institutionalized investors.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Three-Tiered Token based on Healthcare on: September 06, 2018, 05:12:30 AM
NHCT or Nano Health Care Token is a new ICO based around the idea of three different levels of token generation.

Why I feel this is unique is because to get the NHC Token, a user has to generate relatively lesser value tokens based on their health improvement activities. After the activities are tracked through their application, the user receives the Tier 1-2 tokens, the same tokens can be converted to the third tier tokens which are called NHC Tokens.

The idea of adding value to a token draws quality investors and long term product users.

What do you think?

Considering that there innumerable tokens out there, is this an effective way to deem a particular token highly valuable?

Here is their ANN post-  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4862998.msg43823692#msg43823692

Let me know if there are more such ICOs out there.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / September 30, 2018 - SEC ETF Ruling on: September 05, 2018, 05:39:33 AM
Bitcoin seems to be rallying this month due to the high hopes associated with the SEC possibly agreeing with the pending ETFs.

I think I should be quite positive about VanEck-SolidX this time.

Do we send postcards to the SEC this month? Will it make any difference?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Ittisa ICO Marketing Guide 2018 on: August 31, 2018, 06:17:45 AM
The number of ICOs have kept on increasing over the past few years.

0.1 % of the ICOs around nowadays have an MVP or a Minimum Viable Product.

ICO Marketing Agencies often face issues of uncertainty about the business plan/product plan of an ICO. The most common problem is that of a non-existent product of an ICO. Agencies also lack a proper understanding of the correct path towards a successful ICO Marketing strategy.

There are only a few ICO Marketing Agencies around that have an in-depth understanding of the ICO Market.

One such agency that I am aware of is Ittisa. Their comprehensive guide on ICO Marketing proves to be a valuable resource for all those wish to understand ICO Marketing. A few aspects that they cover are-

1) Create an Optimised Website for your ICO Start-up.
2) Create a Token Strategy for your ICO Start-up.
3) Create an ICO Whitepaper for your Start-up.
4) Create a Foolproof SEO Strategy for your ICO Start-up.
5) ICO Pre-sale.
6) ICO Crowdsale.
7) Promotion of your ICO Start-up.

Here is where you can get their ICO Marketing Guide.

Ittisa has handled ICO Marketing of clients like Runs.com, which is a blockchain based e-commerce company based out of Singapore.

Currently, Ittisa is handling all Marketing activities of NHCT which is a Blockchain powered Ecosystem of Total Health.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unique 'ICOs'? on: June 04, 2018, 12:34:22 PM
Blockchain and life-long experiences.

This is the uniqueness that Runs.com brings along.

Runs.com is a decentralized platform revolving around experiences.

They are currently focusing on 3Cs-

Cricket

Cinema

Coffee

Following this, they plan on diversifying into other experiences.

Community members will be dealing in Runs Tokens over the Blockchain network.

This would make sure that any untrusting parties do not take over and sabotage the system.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are people losing faith in ICO's? on: June 01, 2018, 10:19:07 AM
Considering the recent spurt in ICO launches across the globe, it becomes slightly tricky when it comes to sieving through ICOs.

There have been multiple instances when ICO websites have been hacked and funds rerouted.

Such reasons are bound to put questions in people's mind.

Looking at how aware investors have becomes, I feel the faith will be back once performance levels of ICOs increase.
