"It is also a good idea to keep yourself in the lowest tax bracket. For example the tax on $51,800 is 12%. But add $1 and it jumps to 22%!"
I am not a trader Smiley I have a 9-6 job. so Tax brackets are set for me (well If I do not loose my job)

Thank you Guys Smiley
please correct me if I am wrong. Assume I have couple of LTC and I want to  exchange it.. to lets say NEO or EOS you are telling me it is taxable event? Meaning, I will be taxed twice even though it is just 1 investment (assume, I bought 2 LTC , then I exchanged LTC to NEO and sell NEO lets say in the same fiscal year -- bought, exchange and sell  ? What about Like for Like? is it applicable here?

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is at bottom or we will see movement downward ? on: August 21, 2018, 02:27:07 PM
Much appreciated for all your replies. My strategy is simple + lack of short term tactics Smiley Buy some shares, move to wallet  and "forget" about it for 3-5 years. I do not inspire to be a trader, even though my respect to all traders here. so I am on a search for a long term potential "investments". And if I am lucky/wise/foolish (depends how you look at it)  to make some profit and move the funds to 529 account (which is also subsidized by usual means)

I know prediction of the price is a B...CH Smiley especially in Crypto market. But  I would like to know your opinion about ETH movement, Do you think we have a room to go downward or we are at the bottom.  I am new to crypto (however reading a lot) so your opinion matters. . It will not influence me to make any financial decision but to broaden my info.
