Falling with lack of volume is not much of a problem. Volume is half of what it was a few days ago... Waves has become an even better investment, 20% off for a limited time only, buy now! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

This is some really great hardware, with patented tech!
Not sure about the need for the tokens though, and the per-transaction fee. Assuming the unikeys merchant thing never takes off (honestly it probably won't) they still want you to buy their Unikeys tokens just to buy the hardware. I doubt that will continue longterm. They're going to need to sell these things on amazon for $.
But as just a hardware wallet with biometrics, great idea and I'd probably use it.
What about a bounty campaign here for the token sale?

A good community manager will know how to respond to trolls: be respectful, ignore trolling, provide real information back. If you respond to trolls in a pleasant manner then they lose their power, and outside observers can see what is really going on. You don't need an army, you don't need to "fight", you need to manage the community.

The chance to actually generate the private keys for a particular bitcoin address is infinitesimal. There are exactly 2^160 possible addresses. 2^160 is 1,461,501,637,330,902,918,203,684,832,716,283,019,655,932,542,976. To put that in perspective, there are only 2^63 grains of sand on all of the beaches of the Earth. You'd have a better chance to mine solo on a cpu ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

This is disturbing, it makes the case for regulated exchanges...
It doesn't affect the market cap or price directly, but higher volumes can have a few effects:
All these new exchanges are looking to attract new customers, so they try to fake their volume to appear higher in lists of top exchanges.
Altcoins too will try to pump up their daily volume to try to appear to be a good and stable coin.
Scammers trying to make a coin appear to be good or bad can generate a steady stream of fake buy/sell to themselves to try to push the price in the direction they want.
The moral of this story is: don't trust the volume!

Ohhhh, I am so lazy too!
I'm having some success with "Getting Things Done", basically organize all your tasks, do small stuff immediately.
Also the 5 second rule is sometimes good, do things quick before your brain realizes what you're doing and has a chance to be lazy and come up with excuses!

I heard that Satoshi used all his BTC to buy pizzas. He was very happy at the time that the currency he invented allowed him to eat for free. This was 8 years ago, he never thought that BTC would take off! When he realized his mistake at selling all his coins, he was so ashamed he vowed to never reveal his true identity.

It's a new era, before this there were child beauty pageants and child actors. Nothing has changed, some parents are only interested in monetizing their babies. Now, if my kid was older and genuinely interested in being a Youtube star, then of course I would support her in any way I could!

If definitely works for things that you can control about yourself. Watch the movie "The Secret", it literally changed my life. However, positively thinking bitcoin back to $20k is not going to work, sorry. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Speaking from experience here... If you were lucky enough to be born into a "rich country" like USA, Canada, Europe etc then just find somebody from a developing country like Vietnam, China, Philippines, Dominican Republic, etc. Trust me, you can get a super hot young girl to marry you for your money or green card, in exchange for her beauty and youth. Then in a few years when she's bored and she cheats on you and leaves you, you're free and can get a younger and more beautiful version of her, and the cycle of life continues. I really miss living in Asia, where I was tall rich and handsome! Did wonders for my ego. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Such a great deal on Waves right now! I'm buying a lot and will take my original investment out when it doubles. Mark my words people, it is headed back to $5 range in the next few months!

almost all trading in waves dex are wash trading. I kind of suspect this is true as well! (Wash trading meaning you buy/sell to yourself to create fake volume) Unlike other exchanges though, all trades on the DEX are on the blockchain, so it's possible to decode the to/from addresses from the transaction data. In other words, this theory could be proven easily. Who wants to know what % of trades on the DEX are wash trading? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

I really appreciate that detailed report of what happened. As I was following it carefully, all I can say is that updates would have been better as it happened, rather than posting such an alarming warning and then taking it down with no further updates for a long time.... Anyways, glad it turned out ok and that the hackers weren't as competent as they could have been ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I've been using Gunbot for a few weeks now with just Emotionless with some minor success. (at least I haven't lost in this market) My question is what coins to people use? Is it a good idea just to use the top 20 or 50 or 100 coins from coinmarketcap? Or is your strategy more targeted than that? I noticed that with too many pairs, Gunbot eats all my btc and gives me bags ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

To be honest, the trading view charts of the web client are overkill and intimidating for 99% of people who would use the DEX. Simple plain charts are better, with the option to enable all the bells and whistles if you want. Loving the portfolio view with the $ value of each asset and the ability to hide the spam tokens. Overall though, it is a great upgrade from the old waveswallet.io that I started out on! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

sasha ivanov @sasha35625 " http://wavesplatform.com website is back online. We had an unpleasant accident with DNS hijacking, fortunately it was resolved fairly quickly. No financial damage to user wallets occurred. Another reminder that current cenralized DNS system needs a major overhaul." Good news, thanks ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

NS is back to normal, ssl certificates good, client is working, MetaMask removed the phishing warning now.
@Waves.support How about an official announcement of what happened and if it's safe to use the client now?
I was using the web client right before the hack, and would like to check my assets and transfer everything to a new wallet to be on the safe side.

Was the warning tweet removed? I'm not seeing it anymore. The news tweet now has link to steemit instead of wavesplatform. The old website still has the invalid security certificate and other domains such as the client are not working. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Please be upfront and honest if there is such a dangerous thing going on like a hacked DNS or something!!!!
