The price of BTC has decreased even further.. maybe now is a good time? Of course looking at how things are going it might be even cheaper within the coming months.

23  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are You a Cell Phone Addict? on: November 19, 2018, 04:59:24 PM
I cannot even recollect in my memory a person who is not addicted to gadgets. It's a pity, of course. Yet, that's true. Remembering a couple having a dinner in an expensive restaurant. They have been sitting in front of each other for more than 2 hours and everything they said, was: "Thank you" and "Love you". Rest of the time they've been playing a game in their cells. Quite sad  Sad
I came here to say pretty much the same thing.. even 3 year old need their ipads or they will get grumpy.

Anyone here who has also read the books?
Yeah  Wink the show and books differ a lot and while it's common to say that the books are better, I'd here say that yes, George Martin is an amazing writer and the books are fantastic, but the shows are one of the best as well.
26  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to study well English grammar? on: November 19, 2018, 02:05:37 PM
I'm from the states, I think my grammar is awful  Grin don't feel bad if you don't get it right, it's amazing you can speak another language.

Better income might refer to a better living conditions. Yet, working all the time + stress... maybe not so much. Plus if you don't have time to do anything besides work, then you may have all the wealth in the world but what are you gonna do with it really?
31  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why am I scared of Alexa? on: November 16, 2018, 01:41:11 PM
What is Alexa? I don`t have this at home, I guess.
Alexa is a smart speaker. Same as Google Home. You ask the device something and it replies or does something for you. For example, you can ask her to turn on TV.
Maybe the most known one is Siri in Apple products.
Yeah don't trust anything that can speak  Grin not even people.
32  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about online dating? on: November 16, 2018, 01:28:28 PM
I know a few people who have met through online dating and they seem fairly happy. In the end of the day it comes down to weather you really hit it of weather online or in real life. If the other person is interesting and you match... why not.

But of course, it can be really sketchy too. So many people get catfished and I feel sorry for them. What is even worse that a few apps now offer the chance only for girls to choose and also rate guys, but not the other way around... talk about equal rights, right
33  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bad eating habits on: November 16, 2018, 01:18:02 PM
Once you've tried eathing healthy (like having proper times to eat) you're body will start working better and you will feel better. I think the schedule for eating is very important, because that lets your body know you're taking care of it.
34  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you do when you're stress? on: November 16, 2018, 01:10:53 PM
Depends what causes the stress? Are there many tasks unfinished? Try to reward yourself for everything that you do. Also, try to take mind of things if it's something else that causes you stress - take time for yourself, force yourself to go to the gym and meet up with friends.
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why am I scared of Alexa? on: November 16, 2018, 12:51:45 PM
Well, you shouldn't trust your other technical stuff either like phones and laptops... everything can be used in order to spy on someone if needed/wanted.
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to eat cheap on: November 16, 2018, 12:43:43 PM
What I realised is that it is quite difficult to cook for one for cheap. So I think one of the options is to just prep a meal that you can eat many days in a row. Not the greatest taste variety maybe but will definitely help you to save a few bucks.

Also, worth going to the supermarket's just before they're about to close. Can find some pretty awesome deals like that, but usually it means that you will have to cook the items the same or at least on the next day.
37  Other / Off-topic / Re: what do you think about electric cars? on: November 16, 2018, 12:32:22 PM
I think soon it won't be that hard to charge your electric car and also that the lifespan of the battery will be much longer. Smiley Hoping to get one myself sometime as well.

In some sense we already have digital immortality - take a look at FB with all the accounts of the deceased... Well obviously noone manages them or is active. But that already is like a graveyard. What feel will digital immortality give. Quite eerie thought really.
