21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Russia, Now Ukraine on: March 25, 2015, 12:08:02 AM
Correction, Ukraine has no plan to ban BTC. Its only concern is that terrorists may be using it.

Thanks for the correction it is always good to get as close to the truth in the end only had to go threw every post lol The thing is with all this ban talk, it can't really be banned can it?

They can try but it is not really going to get them anywhere is it, there is no way for them to control it like they can't control ban drugs or anything else what they attempt and fail.

A country could stop exchanges operating within its borders, make bitcoin related businesses illegal, and forbid banks from doing transactions with bitcoin businesses abroad. Does Russia intend to start prosecuting people for possession of bitcoins? That would put people off using bitcoin, but not stop everyone.

We are already in the final stages of decentralized exchanges so they can do what they want with exchanges in a few months, have you heard of Bithalo and Blackhalo night trader? This will allow anyone to bypass any regulation they put on the people unjustly. Banks ban does not matter with what i just said. Russia probably will do all it can to penalize bitcoin users but as my point with drugs those who want to use it will use it and that will create enough publicity that others will want to know why it is banned etc they can't stop it they can only try.
22  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: March 24, 2015, 10:55:58 PM
In 2013 I sent 0.4 btc to a girl to purchase a his comic book. (She didn't spend it yet)

So by girl you mean boy and by sending to her you mean sending to him? So he could purchase HIS comic book. I to know quite a few women who have used bitcoin but i am not sure if they are still here as i have not heard from 'him' for a long time. On a serious note i have 2 women family members who are in to bitcoin one was an early adopter the other is just getting by on her crumbs but they still use it as much as they can, wait till more shops accept then you will see them coming..

24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK analysts on the growth of Bitcoin users and related issues on: March 24, 2015, 08:43:40 PM
"In 2014, there were just 1.3 million BTC users throughout the world, which means global community is expected to grow threefold in just 5 years."

Oh, I thought we are at about 2mils now? Still, the current number of bitcoin users is incredibly low considering the fact that we're in the middle of digital era. BTC is so revolutionary imo, it should already have well over 100mil users by now, but, changing views and opening minds seems a hard process at times  Wink

Lets say we are at a modest 1.5million users as we speak, how hard is it to get to the predicted figure?

Out of us 1.5million users if we have one million pro active users who can explain well what this is then that 4+million target is easy because we just had to introduce a few people each within 4 years and the kicker they will introduce people after a year or 2 of being here.

That goal should be so easy to reach if everyone done something about it, together that prediction will be smashed to pieces it could go well beyond that at a rapid place if we all pull our finger out.

OP, if you want your (or your grandparents' ) backyard tilled for free, post an address Smiley

Nice backyard-bank though, I envy you.

Nice we have a tryer on our hands Wink

50btc is not a small amount by most people standards so wish you luck in keeping them safe dude.

Some people think you maybe telling lies anyway you can prove them wrong?
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best operative system? on: March 24, 2015, 04:36:10 PM
~~~
So they resort to their old proven tactics of dropping support for a product (however popular) and pushing their user base to new systems and products not through innovation and their superiority over competition but through the exercise of market power. Linux 2.6 kernel branch is 10 years old already, but it is still actively supported, and most likely will be supported for another 10 years (actually, as long as there are enough active users of it)...
I still have an Athlon XP 2500+ computer, which is in perfect state despite being as old as 2004. If I hadn't been all in for Linux, what Windows could I install there?
no doubt about that, but to be fair windows 7 in comparison with xp had a lot of changes in performance, security and cool features.
in my experience 7 and 8 are most suitable for laptops, in performance and battery usage. and they work much better with SSD hard drives.
and about your computer,i am not sure but i think you can't install any x64 version of windows and you would have a better experience with XP.
That was exactly my point. There are a lot of computers about 10 years old that could be used for office and things like that. But now, when the Windows XP support is over, you either have to install some flavor of Linux there, or just dispose of these boxes as garbage... What would you choose?
I opt for Linux, but other people may indeed "think different"
No i would also opt for linux because to me it is the easiest to maintain security and i like being in communication with the computer to do things i want it to do. Windows i just have never liked for all reasons above plus only ever time my computer has been compromised was using that OS. 90% of the worlds super computers are linux based for a reason even if it is a tiny % of casual users use it. Safest.
What happens if you move to a different house?
Seems like a lot of hassle to secure your btc...
It is sad but it looks like we may have been trolled buy a newbie why he would bother is beyond me, some people must have strange lives to have that much time on their hands. Can only imagine its someone in school but who does not really attend much if the spelling is anything to go buy.
BUT... If you did do that and bury your keys 12ft that was some effort how many did you put down their if you don't mind me asking?
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Complete the sentence... [I would buy Bitcoin because..] on: March 24, 2015, 04:00:30 PM
I would buy bitcoins because i had enough money spare that i could buy them and have no financial problems by spending to much.
Would be a bonus if i knew there was a nice rise coming in the coming months as there will be for us by the summer.
Yeah Ive got similar reasons + I get to gamble anonymously with pretty much no hassle. I also like predecting the trend of the price for the next couple of days and buy/sell accordingly. Smiley
I see there are so many places to gamble within bitcoin and most seem pretty legit to be honest, yes trying to play the market is what it is about i am more of a buyer than a seller, maybe hoarding to much.
Today i would buy bitcoins because i have enough money to so i will be buying a small amount later today Smiley
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tightening Regulations on: March 24, 2015, 03:55:56 PM
The UK have started the ball rolling to regulate the exchanges so it will be very tight in the next few years, i have a question if anyone knows then thanks in advance. What if decentralized exchanges come out around the same time, they won't be able to tax then will they only if you come forward? I am all for some regulation but don't be taxing us all and don't be backdating it lol
but here have this L for being so unoriginal
Shouldn't it be a U for Unoriginal? Angry cause stupid? Or just typical depressed male who can't get laid? This isn't an ideal place to vent your rage, try a sex pillow. I'm sure you can order one on mommy and daddy's credit card.
Or are you one of the noobs who bought in at $800 when smart money like me were selling old coins? Tell us why you rage, stranger, the world wants to know.
Wrong wrong wrong now shut the fuck up and jump in front of a god damn bus you retard because you for one aren't a psychic much less of a psychologist and half of a man. Stop asking questions you sucker,its none of your god damn business,I'm doing well life is fabulous,doing better than your pathetic ass.
why are you such a controlling person?
your on the same forum as them and name calling.
when you show all the bct you have dont have. than we shall bow our heads lordy lord.
I don't understand why he is so angry, he has more than all of us put together he is smarter, stronger, faster, basically better at everything in life than every single one of us here yet he the angriest of us all also. Why would you tell someone to jump in front of a bus that is not very nice is it? I think you should say sorry lord. I see you have found your all mans club fancy telling us some tips so we might eventually be equipped well enough to trade with the skill you do?
i am looking for a serious group of investors ,if you are going to tell me bitcoin isn't and investment I'm not talking about you.
I tried the whale club,needless to say,I cannot take them serious. I need a more private group,one that isn't open to every jerkoff with an internet connection but of people who own a house and pay their own god damn bills. Any hope?
What makes you think that you would be able to join a 'whale club' do you even know how much membership fee's are? They are quite a bit more than you will be willing to spend on the chance you have found the right place, looking at about minimum 5 k and you would need to have a hole lot more to swim with them boys. No offense but the fact you need to post here asking about it shows you won't be finding a legit group unfortunately/
I do have some advice for you though and that would be spend some time in speculation and don't talk crap pay attention and figure out who knows what they are talking about when you do try befriend them and take it from there that is your best chance at learning along the lines of what you want to.
Also try http://www.babypips.com/school  great for learning trading
shut the fuck up,don't talk to me like I'm some little god damn boy I can assure you i have more money in bitcoin alone than you have made in your entire god damn life. If you don't have any real tips get the stepping because all the extra shit Im not interested in.
Please don't think i was hiding from you almighty lord, i will talk to you how i want sweetheart there is not really much you can do about that is there? Plus when you speak like the person you claimed i talked to you like how can i be in the wrong.
More money than i have made in my hole life you say? Please tell me what you think that might be Wink I bet you can't show a signed wallet with enough to get in a real 'whale club' let alone come anywhere near what i have earned ahaha.
I actually gave good tips for someone that had half a brain to follow them.
34  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Legit bitcoin faucets sites on: March 22, 2015, 07:18:37 PM
I had made a site which keep track of the time of the high paying faucets that worth the time to click.
update very regularly as i click on them myself.
http://ref-trader.cu.cc to check it out
So how much do you earn from all this clicking? I doubt there is a lot of really high paying faucets the best i have found is freebitco.in and moon faucet, i learned a lot from these about how faucets work but they are only good for that learning how to use it and not for making money lol
You have a ref link there dude i would cross that out and try again without, just saying rules are rules.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has any of Satoshi's suspected wallets been used?? on: March 22, 2015, 07:10:01 PM
Y'all seem to be ignoring the possibility that Satoshi does not give a crap about personal wealth.
This is always overlooked.
Another factor could be that he doesn't require wealth because he already has plenty.
Secondly, those major wallets are just that and have been followed since the early days. No one knows whether or not he utilized pools when they were first implemented out of curiosity and had funds from that.
This is a possibility or... I just thought of something that Satoshi write back in 2010. He said literally that he planned on creating a free bitcoin generator. When it gets too hard for mortals to generate 50 BTC, new users could get some coins to play with right away. Maybe he really has bitcoin generator?
And that is the reason he doesn't care much about spending bitcoin now.
He probably never imagined that coins would be at the price they are at now.
He could never have knew they would get to this price but that does not mean he would just leave them all and do nothing does it?
A ninja generator pumping out all the free coins he will ever need that is why he has not returned to the wallets, i think the idea about it being to destroy the mighty china is the best idea so far.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: March 22, 2015, 01:03:41 AM
I probably won't have kids but I'll name myself Satoshi for 150 BTC easily. And I'm the only person I know of who doesn't even like that word.
That sucks man hope you do everyone deserves the hell they bring Smiley Wouldn't change it for the world and no op never would i trade my babys name for about 40k never in a million years that is lower than low lol
Yeh me too i would change my own name i would even have it tattooed on my neck or below but never would i force someone else name on my child although i have kind of forced a name on her to begin with, oh go on then when is payment!?
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has any of Satoshi's suspected wallets been used?? on: March 22, 2015, 12:55:28 AM
As I recall, the whole millions of BTC mined in the beggining stay where they are all the time.
This is so odd though obviously it never really cost anything at the time but unless you fell of the side of the planet you would have know bitcoin was rising and you would at least cash some in for the essentials of life. Who knows there could be loads of reasons why they have not touched them but i hope it is not the obvious 2 death or lost private keys that would be crappy wouldn't it...
38  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 500 faucets on one place on: March 22, 2015, 12:42:39 AM
and you cant surfe all of them in one day or even if you spent 16 hours and manage to use them all still you will not even make live 2$
thats if you dont win big, if you have a good day, you can make a lil dough
I spent a few weeks hitting these daily when i first got into bitcoin you know how many 'big' wins i ever had?
0
I never won a single jackpot from these faucets and i would put money and bet on hardly anyone else ever having a big win ever and there are a lot of people who have spent a lot of time in these faucets.
If there was ever a win it was probably by the faucet owner himself lol
Jokes aside they are good for beginners but no good for money making..
dont feel bad, i also spent a massive amount of time fauceting without making anything substantial
It isn't so much i feel bad but just the fact the the jackpots that are offered are probably lies in all honesty like is said all the people using these and nobody ever comes forward and says i won the faucet jackpot, which we would hear if they did Smiley
You may not have made anything substantial but i am sure it was a easy welcome to bitcoin and you learned a lot about the way it works so in itself that was something substantial and worth some time getting to know it better.
I am thankful i spent the few weeks i did and would advise others do the same but don't stick around to long lol
Nice meeting you all :3
Stop being sexist -,-
Nice meeting you to, there is nothing sexist going on here just a friendly chat about girls using bitcoin, if this offends you maybe you are in the wrong place ad it shouldn't offend anybody.
Yes op there must be girls using butcoin not as many as there are men but there are diffidently girls/women using it and i know of 2 of them just in my circle of friends so i am sure at least others do,
I will take a stab in the dark that it is between 10 - 15%  probably towards the lower end.
