I t doesn't even start my GPUs.. they are just all OFF

What and how many cards are you using? I-18 seems quite high for my card but I'll try with I-13 first

Ok I'm going to ask again
Has anyone got 280x DUAL-X cards with settings that don't cause hardware errors? I just can't not seem to eliminate them. I've tried I of 10, 11, 12 and 13. With TC I've tried 8192, 8193, 8191, 6144, 4096. Now I've read somewhere that TC is usually a multiple of shaders and I have shaders of 2048. Does using --shaders 2048 make and difference and am I basically guessing if i use any TC inbetween 8192 and 6144 or in face any other TC?
I 've also tried nearly every GPU clock speed in steps of 5 between 970 and 1060 and my GPU1 always gets HW. It doesn't get this when mining Digibyte (scrypt)
I've seen bits about having 4gb of system ram, Would it make much difference going for 8gb?

Well this is my stats so far http://prntscr.com/3157trthis is running at gpu-clock 980,1020,1020 memclock 1500,1500,1500. Works out about 88% khs/WU and i'm still getting 16 HW which seems alot.

OK I need some help please forum peeps I have been trying back and forth for a while now and I just can't seem to eliminate these hardware errors This is my current performance http://prntscr.com/313ph1my current settings are -w 256 - v 1 -I 13 --look-gap 2 -g 2 --gpu-engine 1021,1021,1021 --gpu-memclock 1500,1500,1500 thread concurrency 8192,8192,8192 --expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --auto-fan --temp-target 65,65,65 --temp-overheat 76,76,76 --temp-cutoff 80,80,80 GPU 1 + 2 that is near the best kh/s I've had, got up to 366 with a 1040/1500 gpu/mem clock settings but GPU 1 just always gets hardware errors. I have tried lowering the intensity (12,11,10) , lowering the -w (96,128,184), lowering the TC 8191,8193, 6112, 4096 all over which either destroy the kh/s or give HW galore. I've got Sapphire R9 280X DUAL-X cards all 3 of them Any suggestions to how I can cut these HW error out, some people have said about getting 1/2 in every 1 million shares, I get 5-10 per 50k shares

http://prntscr.com/30vc9fwell thats where i'm at now.. doesn't seem too bad right? GPU 0 might need a bit more tweaking, but its never performed as well as the other too whatever the settings.. Weird considering its the same card, same settings same memory bios etc Does anyone think with the Sapphire R9 280x DUAL-X cards i'm likely to get much more than 355kh/s per card? Just hope this holds over night now, but promising so far EDIT: is there any plans to get on to Mintpal https://www.mintpal.com/market or Austin Global Exchange https://agx.io/ . I ask only because it would be nice to be able to trade all the coins I like in one place! EDIT: I spoke too soon again...... 49376 share and now HW:2 I tried lowering the intensity and it crashed the kh/s, anyone had any luck with lower TCs, i've only tried 8193 and 8192 so far

I've got 280x Dual-x cards Anyone got any thought if the Accepted and rejected shares and with HW errors is acceptable? http://prntscr.com/30u4ca

Should I be worried if i get any HW errors? or is a small amount acceptable?

Any best settings for 280x Dual-x cards?
probably this...insert the cards into a small cardboard box of your choice...pour petrol all over them, you can even take a dump on top of the cards if you feel like it...then strike a matchstick, throw it in, and watch them burn to death.... coz thats whats gona happen sooner or later with these cards.... iv had 3 of em blow up on me coz of the shitty (lack of) vrm temp sensor, you really need to undervolt em and possibly flash the bios and that will drop the temps to a fairly acceptable level. Im taking it you mean the purple Sapphire box card? Good luck with that lol... Well that wasn't quite as helpful as I was hoping for.... Yes I do mean the purple Sapphire box. I have already undervolted them and flashed the bios LOL sry i was only messing about. Yeah i had a little trouble with these but seen as you've already done that im sure you'l be fine dude. After a lot of reading I found these weren't everyone's favourite cards, but too late that's what was available to buy at the time. Now I'm back to messing around with clock speeds to get best hash rate. So far 296/348/347 Weird seeing half the hash rate :S

Any best settings for 280x Dual-x cards?
EDIT: ok suggestions now as I've found some earlier mentioned settings
And is there a good pool UK or EU based that isn't dedicatedpool.com... much as I like my Digibyte pool from this guy we want to spread the hash rate right?

Can I just check if I've downloaded the wallet today that has the upcoming update in it?

Can someone explain to me why on my pool dashboard my worker has a difficulty of 1024 yet the network difficulty is a hell of a lot less
Which pool are you mining on? That is normal, it isn't the actual coin difficulty it is showing but what difficulty the pool as set your worker. @ Digibyte I'm on dedicatepool And why would the pool set my worker such a high difficulty compared to the network.... i'm in danger or asking technical question i won't understand here i fear

can someone tell me the where to get or what is the current difficulty on execoin please
current diff is 7.90281637 i just look at the pool... Well I thought that would be it. But on my Digibyte dedicatedpool the worker difficulty is not the same as the network so that through me a bit, why is that different? And don't worry I've been reading i'll find a new pool when I actually start mining this coin Promising as it is for the future of GPU miners when the ASIC time comes, I haven't see much talked about Execoin being used as a currency.. apart from being ASIC proof/resistant where is this coin going? I started mining (only very recently) Digibyte because I could see it as future currency rather than a fad, I would like to think Execoin had that in it too

its not hard dude...just find a mining pool, then find someone with your hashrate / work it out (ul b getting about half) then work out how much ul get a day, then start looking at the exchanges and work out how much ul be earning in btc..... Or just use the verters (vertcoin) calculator and replace the diff , reward ,blah, blah and ul find out that way as well.
Umm.. oh yeah Seems good. Always difficult to know what to mine, soo many coins out there professing to be the best thing.

Hi sorry to ask again but I didn't seem to find a reply
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a profitability calculator for this coin? I like the idea of it and am thinking of mining it, but I also need to have an idea of how worth it is
|
|
|
Any sites that can give me an estimate of profitability calculator? And I assume I would estimate 1/2 my currnet hash rate with a nscrypt coin right?

Does P2pool make everyone else's cards run hotter?
There should not be any difference between mining on a P2P pool vs regular pool when it comes to card temperature. Have you changed your card settings at all? Mmm,... well I was sitting comfortably at 76C mining mintcoin, came over to DGB and now it goes up to 83C. Also I'm not sure why I always get waiting for work from pool which ever pool I try. Seems I have a choice of mining P2Pool and getting too hot or not using a pool Interesting, you could just be getting work quicker. What kind of cards are you running? Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X I've worked out the pool problem so i'm back mining again.. stupid typing error that I couldn't see So waiting to see what temps they get to pool mining again. Glad to hear you figured it out! Those pesky typos happen to all of us from time to time Is it possible that a different coin works the GPU a bit harder or lighter and thus the affects the temps?
