The "NewWolfDev" was how the Dev held the price up while he dumped all the coins on you.
Why did the Block Explorer go down and stay down? I kept asking about it and the dev never responded, and no one else ever cared.
Reminder: Don't hold any coin that doesn't have a Block Explorer.
Now the network is dead.
I hope none of you got burned too badly.

Encrypted my wallet, and when I restarted to backup my wallet, a message stated wallet corrupt and salvage failed.
So, I guess I'm fucked?
Any one know something that my help? It rewrote the wallet, All I have is the .bak and .rewrite
EDIT: For some reason the backup actually opened after just reopening it a few times like a crazy person, but watever, just glad to have them back.......... So, Getting the coins back on an exchange until things are little tighter.

Yet 200BTC market cap? I think when this coin arrives coinmarketcap and people see on the list unvervalued together with shitcoins like kittehcoin, orangecoin... It will be a panic buy

One concern I have for the POS of MINT is the 20 day maturity requirement for Staking (network support).
In the current coin market 20 days is quite a long time to wait before a wallet can start to support a network that depends solely on staking to verify transactions.
If Mint is poised to take off, thats going to cause a lot of days to be killed and leave even less coins being staked causing the network to slow down even more.
If possible might be a good idea to create two stages of staking, a short term and long term. Of course the short term would give a much smaller return but would allow for a much larger network of support.
Just a little brainstorming. I'm not one to understand the details of the implantation of such a wallet. But I couldn't help notice this situation as the current wallet is taking over 24 hours almost a full day to sync.

Could be, would have to check out the blockchain and see which of the biggest addresses are sending out chucks of coins in regular intervals, those would most likely be your exchages. And any addresses acting as black holes would be your accumulators. Although, a cold storage for an exchange would look like accumulation too, so hard to tell. The point we can be sure of though, is that Mint will be raising. |

Well I just checked the rich list for the first time in a while, and looks like the top addresses have been accumulating a LOT for a long time.. top 50 addresses hold almost 50% of the market, not sure if that is normal? If i'm not wrong I believe we should some huge rises in the future? Just need these whales to play the cards right.. I will continue to stake my little amount  Remember that the biggest addresses are those of exchanges. |

Buy back EVERY SINGLE WOLF coin from every trader who wants out for the original price of .001 BTC.Since you have already given your permission for your personal information to be released if you did anything shady, here is what i will release if you decide to go that route: -Name -Bitcointalk username -LinkedIn -Twitter -Google+ -Facebook -LocalBitcoins -YouTube -Elance -Reddit I will also contact your current employer (yes I know that too) and let them know that you have stolen tens of thousands of dollars from several people and are completely untrustworthy. XBC was frozen as a simple precaution from Polo over possible double spend concerns (that were false). Everything was fine and it was reopened as soon as Bosani was awake :-)
Concerning the new staking POS wallet:

The wallet is almost ready for release. I can confirm that it's done and in the final stages of testing.
Once this foundation is all set, done and in place... we're calling on everyone and anyone to get involved and help us grow XBC to the highest levels imaginable!!

A few points: - just an observation that the webmining crashed my phone when I visited the new site with it. Maybe not running by default it for mobile devices would be a good idea. - I have a question regarding webmining. I assume it is not a scrypt algo, but something very lightweight? So, is that algorithm more power efficient in terms of hashes/sec? How is it protected from abuse? Thinking about someone modifying the webmining code that would allow it to calculate hashes at full cpu power? - I have no problem with allocating some WOLF from the (now comes the ugly word) "premine" for development and promotion. I welcome this open discussion especially in the light of dev taking 0,65 BTC for hosting costs from the phase 2 funds without any previous notice. Did I say phase 2 funds? Oh yeah, we are still missing an explanation regarding where the rest of the 5 BTC pot went. In the meanwhile the P2Pool is going strong. Already providing 15 MH/s, which is 65% of the whole network.  Yes, it's important to have a plan for the rest of the WOLF the Dev has control of. There's quite a few coins left over from the premine yes? Does anyone know how many are left? Is there a possibility those coins could be destroyed? Handing out coins causes dumping, I'd suggest those left over coins be gotten rid of as originally planed.I spoke before I read the Dev's post above, my bad. |

I think it deserves a new [ANN] since it's basically a new coin. Otherwise it would create quite a bit of confusion for new users scrolling through the thread history.

BIGGER UPDATE: Project WOLF Announced, Web Mining, New QT, Mining Begun, TX-fee removednotes: mining has already started yesterday, poloniex is still to update their client but will shortly I'm sure, other nodes all updated. Comments and feedback welcome, next up rebranding for Project WOLF. Whoa! WOLF Dev coming back with some next level work here! If I understand correctly it is in this direction of use the BlockChain will become the successor to/backbone of the world wide web, yes? I think I only fully understand 1% of the possibilities this Project aims to illuminate and thats more than enough to make me increase my position so I can be apart of this happening in some way. This is the decentralized carrier of info/micro transactions the Blackchain was made for. Imagine the content that will be created once the industries realize they can earn money actively as people view it. Artists will be able to display their work and be reciprocated for it with the hashing generated by the viewer. Modular, Open, and Extensible
Anybody can freely create or extend any aspect of any component within the system, from new transaction types and algorithms through to alternative clients and applications. Consider the Blockchain as a stream of data, where applications can listen for and react to the specific types of data they are concerned with.
