21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Renting Ethereum rigs. on: January 01, 2016, 05:36:42 PM
169 mhash (may improve to 189 to 209 soon) of ethereum. If you have suggestions on hashpower I have 4 7950s and 4 7970s in ubuntu 14.04 on stock settings. I would be happy to adjust clock speeds to hopefully push these to an average of 23 mhash (bringing the total to 188 or so) if you have any suggestions or requests

Let me know pricing and how you would want to do this

Sorry if this has been posted before--how can I get the newer miner (with optimizations) to work with ubuntu 14.04? Is it possible and if so is there a walkthrough?

Thank you

How exactly do I run the proxy?

Sorry I'm shit at ubuntu--I was able to install by including the sudo command in front of it...any way for a for in depth walkthrough (Or is it super straight forward and I'm not seeing something)?
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 5xxx card rigs...any value left in them? on: September 09, 2015, 06:29:13 PM
also keep this in mind you need to choose hashing algorithms that's make your hardware consuming low power nist5 is one of them may be fresh too
you can mine joincoin(multi-algo mine nist5)its very profitable now

Power isn't too much of an issue (utilities included)!

My main issue is that a lot of new algos tend to crash my older cards (skein has been good but I'm always on the hunt)!

I currently have a decent amount of qubit hash with them (13mhash)...Is the any algorithm where you can get a bit more profit? qubit seems close to death at this point and with my free electricity I would like to try something potentially better (most of the newer algos cause these older cards to crash :/ )

Thanks!

You can mine digibyte. (skein)

http://digibytewiki.com/index.php/Mining_hardware_comparison

the  HD 5970 is almost mining as good as a r9 290.

HD 5970   Skein   188 MH/s
R9 290   Skein   225 Mh/s

can you mine Ethereum with 5970?

I cannot but you may be able to?

But what about random drops in btc?

Nice add with the x11

-with regard to the flatness-

Shit happens yo, it's only money.

I'll keep on pointing the hash!

I believe they updated the 'fixed' price so it can't go lower than the 24 hour average?

Was able to help the guy (or girl) out! No payment as of yet but I will keep everyone posted. If anyone needs any work done (scholarly related) I do work for btc and can provide examples of my work (I have tutored General and Organic Chemistry at the university level for 3 years) but I am very flexible! Send me a PM

Is there a way I can overwrite my BAMT usb stick to have PIMP instead? Id really rather not buy a new one and save 10 bucks!
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Does anyone know how to add the updated neoscypt gpuminer to BAMT? on: December 03, 2014, 04:32:18 PM
Woah I didn't know that--is there any way to 'overwrite' the usb I wrote bamt to or am I stuck getting a new usb??
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Does anyone know how to add the updated neoscypt gpuminer to BAMT? on: December 03, 2014, 12:35:10 AM
I did it once before with x11mod (I'm on version 1.6 BAMT Btw)

Just confused and I would like to hop onto this next train of altcoin mining.

Just fyi: 1x 5970, 1x 6870, 1x 5850, 1x 5830

Hi- I made a purchase (x13) on nicehash and it showed the wallet subtraction but I have no new orders or a refund...I have all the transaction info though!

Thanks!
