21  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is safest: Binance/exchanges or online software wallets? on: March 31, 2021, 05:59:22 PM
You definitely can leave some your crypto on Binance/other exchange, but only if you want to trade with them (not for long time holding), but you should be ready that your exchange wallet  can be hacked, all the assets moved and no one won't give you those crypto back. Digital wallets like Ledger/Trezor are the best for long-term holdings because no one can connect with that wallet remotely if it isn’t connected to your comp, but just laying somewhere.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: March 31, 2021, 05:32:24 PM
I just ordered a Trezor 1 cold wallet.

Whatever you heard about safety of exchange market wallets it’s better not to use them for long holding of your cryptocoins. There have been precedents when hackers hacked in Coinbase user account and stole all assets. Here you can read more how even scammer hacked in Coinbase user account: https://www.reddit.com/r/CoinBase/comments/gdcgd9/coinbase_account_hacked/ . You’ve made a good choice with Trezor 1 hardware wallet. That is one of the most trusted cold storage. So it’s better to move your coins there as soon as you’ll get your Trezor wallet.

So much has been said about the Chelsea Vs Porto... My opinion tho, Porto is gonna school Chelsea regardless I wanna see an interesting game from both side.
You can place your bet and win x4.2 if Porto wins 😉
Chelsea isn't top this season yet it improved a lot since Tuchel has come. I doubt Porto could sack another team in CL.

I would even say that this season is a failure for Chelsea. I wish they could do better. I think they will be able to go on, but not without problems. Although you know that Porto wins the Champions League once in 17 years. It was in 1987 and in 2004. Now it's been 17 years since the last victory. So maybe they can win. But in those years Porto was a much stronger team than now.

My hero of the day!  😄 😄

Wow congratulations.
Of course I thought Nikita Mazepin would not finish this race very well, but I thought he would at least finish it Grin. In general, this season started for Haas 1 is not going very well. But I always enjoy Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes, but I did not expect anything else from him.
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 28, 2021, 09:31:34 PM

Ronaldo can be helpful for Juventus but the club can not rely on him to win every match. You can not find many players who can score more than 20 to 30 goals every seasons like Ronaldo. In the next one or two seasons, Juventus will get their strength back and they will dominate the Serie A again.

Of course, there are not many players who score 20-30 goals a season. There are very few of them in every championship. You say that in two seasons Juvernus will dominate, maybe it will, but they have competitors Inter and Milan. In two years Ronaldo will be 38 years old. I think he'll be a little less productive by then.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 28, 2021, 09:20:39 PM
Unexpected for me results of Spain.  This is one of the strongest teams, but it is hard to take the victory from Georgia. It was a very strange match with Georgia scoring first.
France at least played well this time. Scored two goals, but there was also a moment with Mbappe. It's like the most expensive footballer, but he can't score a penalty.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OSCARS 2021- Nominees, Odds and Predictions! on: March 28, 2021, 09:04:52 PM
There's a lot of good movies nowadays, honestly and thanks to Netflix for bringing such good movies, the awards is just a consolation price for those good movies, they are still the best for me.
I disagree with you a little bit. Netflix doesn't have a lot of good movies right now, so far it's more of an exception. If you don't count documentaries because there are a lot of them and a lot of cool ones. The only good Netflix movie I can think of is The Irishman. But they do have a lot of great series. I like the fact that they have not only American soap operas, but also from different European countries such as the German series Dark. I like their strategy to produce series, Netflix and HBO are the main producers of TV series.

And as for the Oscars, I think this award is more dead than alive. The studios don't give money to good movies with original storylines. They make Avengers and Fast and Furious because they make a lot of money. I think there is some kind of crisis in cinema right now. Everything has become too commercialized.
I think it is obvious that Netflix put a bit of a pressure in the cinema business, I mean the places that you go to watch movies, that has been a bit of a difficult thing these days, but that's about it, there is nothing that would be hurtful to the movie business itself, they are just producing movies just like any other production company and they are just putting those movies into netflix instead of the cinemas and that's about it.

So, I do not think that netflix hurts the movie world, they are in fact helping it during this pandemic period by publishing everything while cinemas are closed or rarely anyone goes there. Which is why I think in the future the movie business will grow to be bigger and better because I believe that people will be subscribed to many stuff like hbo, netflix, disney plus, amazon and so forth instead of going to movies, and movies will be made with all that guaranteed money.

If it weren't for the quarantine, I'd go to the movies. I like watching movies on the big screen. Besides, last year there was only one big movie, and that was Tenet. I myself have a subscription to Netflix and several other streaming platforms. But I don't think the model of distributing movies on streaming platforms is a good idea, because online piracy is still a big thing these days. And it would be detrimental to the studios' earnings.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Considering huge transaction fees, what coins to support on new gambling site? on: March 28, 2021, 12:31:13 PM
But if a player wants to play with bitcoin or ETH, then he is forced to make a conversion. And if he wants to withdraw money using a cheap altcoin, then he is forced to do the opposite operation. Yes, these exchange operations are not the main activity of the casino and therefore the exchange rates there are very unfavorable for the player.

I don't know if there is such a player who really insists on playing with Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) that he will make deposits with a particular altcoin, convert it into Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH), and then when he decides to withdraw, convert again to altcoin. I don't know if this is the best option he has to take or he is only wasting time and money in the process.

I agree that conversion within a gambling site is not a good choice in terms of prices.

This is a matter of habit/convenience. You always know the price of ETH or bitcoin (most people connected with crypto check it every day), but do you know the actual price of smaller coins such as Zil for example? I am not, and it would be difficult for me to place a bet without knowing how much I am risking.

But why not make some kind of token for gambling. After all, it would make it a little easier to choose. Besides, eth or bitcoin often have high commissions. If a person wants to bet $30 for example, they will have to pay another $20 for the commission in order to send that $30 to the site.

I am using Qtum token for transfer now because it has low commissions. If sites would add this token I would play on Qtum
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 28, 2021, 12:13:37 PM

I also think that this team really needs to be revolutionized. If I were in their shoes, I would try my best to keep Ronaldo at the team and make changes for the other positions. They especially deserve a better midfield. I really don't like their midfielders. In general, they are not good enough to play at Juventus. If they strengthen the midfield, I'm sure that they will be much more competitive. And I think they also need to strengthen the left wing. There is not a strong player for that position at the team. Chiesa is doing well on the right wing.

It seems to me that the team needs to start rebuilding. We need to look for young and promising players. After all, Ronaldo will not be able to play forever. In 5 years it should be a completely different club. And I would probably sell Ronaldo, he is too old for football. Besides, there are a lot of options to replace him with. Holland is much more promising now.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 28, 2021, 11:53:45 AM
I really feel the Russian striker dzyuba is a great goal scavenger, he would feet into an English premier league team like crystal palace or leads, wonder why he isn't receiving interest, he is always delivering for his Russian national team, it's also good to see ilicic scoring, exciting first two Europe, world cup qualifications games already, I actually bet on Russia and am happy it came through.

I don't agree with you. Dzyuba is already old, he is 32 years old. Even at the peak of his form he would not be suitable for the English championship. The Russian championship is very weak right now. In fact there are only two good teams and they play very poorly in European competitions. It seems to me that Dzyuba is the player who should be released at the end of the match as a substitute.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: March 27, 2021, 11:20:02 AM
Probably taxi was not the only one source of her income or she have put some money for life aside and only then invested in BTC. I am more assured now than ever that BTC will soon increase more but all in all it’s not reasonable to invest everything. We still dependent on fiat money and it will take years to implement crypto in everyday life.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the most anonymous way to own bitcoin? on: March 27, 2021, 06:56:39 AM
The most anonymous way today (but not the most quick and cheap) is to buy mining rig or several videocards and to put them to mine BTC then you’ll get coins directly on your wallet. In such way you’ll be totally anonymous until the day you would decide to withdraw your cryptocoins through crypto exchange market to get some fiat money.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: You want to make money with Bitcoin ? Here is a Tip ...Psy... on: March 27, 2021, 06:29:22 AM
If only trading was so simple every trader would already become millionaire as today everyone considers himself a phycologist. A lot of traders had lost all their possessions because they thought they are cool psychologists that understand the market perfectly and have enough technical skills to test their luck at margin trading. Only several days ago on 23rd of March market correction caused elimination of trader margin positions on the amount of 1.65 billion dollars. All of that is further proof of the fact that trading is very risky business and it is not enough to be a good psychologist and to understand market to get with crypto good benefits.  Sometimes everything is not going exactly as planned.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Biden planning first tax hike(major) since 1993 on: March 26, 2021, 10:02:59 PM
Are you surprised with this? It's logically that if people had got money for free they have to return that money back. In my country politicians usually return money by increasing prices on municipal services and food prices in shops so it becomes more and more expensive to live. Probably in USA the situation is similar. By the way the amount of debts really should depend on people’s income. Wealthy should pay more and the poor should pay less (or they’ll totally bankrupt). To my mind government of any country don't need the poor they need people that are able to work, so if Biden will provide poor people with well-paid works will benefit all.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for Holders! on: March 26, 2021, 09:48:39 PM
Investors who hodl BTC really get 1400% profit and once will get more if they will continue hodl. Now I think that this is the most correct strategy: to buy BTC and to hodl it. But, you know, the problem is that a lot of investors missed the train when they could buy BTC and now they can let themselves to buy only a small part of it and try to trade to double their possessions. This March 2021 BTC already twice reached 60 000 but doesn’t manage to fix there so we really again and again waiting for new ATH.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government ban on crypto on: March 26, 2021, 09:34:32 PM
The fact that USA government strongly maintains BTC and cryptocurrencies today doesn’t mean that other countries have similar policies and can’t ban it. Politics in my country still argue about cryptocurrencies and doesn’t have consensus decision to consider crypto as an illegal asset because of a huge amount of money speculations concerned with crypto or to make it legal and provide a huge amount of rules even somehow to control crypto.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of BTC on: March 26, 2021, 09:39:00 AM
To my mind there are several possible scenario of BTC future:
1) It can remain as a digital asset that brings profit to the traders.
2) It (together with CBDCs) can completely replace fiat money.
3) It can crash if governments of all countries froze crypto wallets of all traders on all exchange markets or all whales will together sell it.
38  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to get your hands on Bitcoin without spending thousands? on: March 26, 2021, 07:53:44 AM
You were very advanced small boy if you mined BTC at 12 years old. Unfortunately those days when anyone can mine BTC on old equipment and get BTC almost for free had gone forever. Now you need to work hard to earn BTC. News that Elon Mask is “giving 10 000 Bitcoin (BTC) to all community!" is scam! Don’t believe in such news. There is no such thing as a free lunch. If you have no money to invest in BTC look through bounty campaigns here on Bitcointalk, choose one of them and participate in signature campaign for instance. That can bring you tokens without investments.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All of a sudden they want to join crypto. on: March 26, 2021, 01:11:04 AM
When in January 2021 BTC pumped to 30 000 even Elon Musk suddenly decided to join crypto and to be involved in earning money by hodling BTC. So it is not surprisingly that a lot of ordinary people also got interested in crypto and decided to invest. Think that is a logical course of events. But there is one little difference between you and those newbies: you are on a step ahead and know more while they are just started to examine crypto world. You can earn giving them paid speeches about crypto.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Supply Be Manipulated? on: March 26, 2021, 12:33:09 AM
There can be mined only 21 million of BTC and mathematics won’t let to mine more. The structure of BTC Blockchain is designed in such way that miners get reward from each block by formula based on the law of inverse geometric progression. To change this amount of 21 million BTC need to be changed the source code that is well protected.
