21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Imagine the day where everyone drops bitcoin! on: August 02, 2018, 11:03:09 AM
Whats the point of bitcoin anyway? there's no way a normal person will be able to use it on a daily basis!
its not gold (to store for value)...

Generally, if you have a large amount of bitcoins on a given PC, being extra-cautious about third party software (be it an Alt-coin client or a particularly fancy casual game) is advisable.

you should never have a large amount of bitcoins on a PC! better store them in an external disc that was used a safe pc.

Cons:
Beer was not as cold as i would have wanted it to be!

30  Other / Off-topic / What to do on a slow Friday afternoon at work? on: July 13, 2018, 01:44:16 PM

Usually i am browsing the internet (Facebook, bitcointalk, reddit, twitter and aliexpress - looking for cool gadgets )
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about PumaPay? on: July 09, 2018, 12:53:46 PM
PumaPay was an out right money grab. The only reason they raised so much money was because most of their marketing was focused in japan where people have no idea about assessing the token economics of a project.

i do not agree with this statement, yes it is obvious that Asia and particularly Japan is a big market player in the crypto-world in general, however many companies such as FashionTV have already agreed to integrate their (PullPayment) protocol and i am sure that they have an ace up their sleeve! i cant wait to see what is coming up next.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are you looking forward to meet at the Beyond Blocks Summit in Seoul, Korea? on: July 06, 2018, 11:58:03 AM
PumaPay is definitely on my list! i will also keep an eye open for bitcash and Orbs (def will be there)Smiley
I partly agree with the scam ICOs, but lets not make generalisations. There are many solid ICO projects, such as: PumaPay, Ubex and Kenetic

If you are a crypto owner, then you should hodl! if you are new to the crypto spectrum, it is a good time to invest in cryptos.

39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What do you think about PumaPay? on: July 03, 2018, 12:03:30 PM
PumaPay is a promising alternative to traditional payment methods, that is likely to disrupt the way people and businesses send and receive fiat money and cryptocurrencies.

They have already raised more than 100M! What do you think it will happen next? do you think we  (as consumers) can use this on a day to day basis?

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How risky to invest in cryptocurrency? on: July 03, 2018, 11:55:12 AM
How risky for beginner to invest in cryptocurrency? What kind of risk factor and what are the precautions?

There is always some degree of risk involved. however the greater the risk, the greater the expected return. from a personal experience, i believe that it is 'wise' to look into an ICO's whitepaper, to check their social media channels, their vision and then to make the decision to either invest or not.
