This is the second coin that I came across to be centered around charity. It is the first to implement block rewards to charity. But yeah.. I think it's funny how every new coin claims to be the first nonprofit coin in some cheap PR scheme. We agree with you. Hi all ,
I was wondering if there is any plan or marketing strategy in place to get this project to the people. There is a huge potential for this coin but I'm worried we are not doing enough and the community doesn't seem to grow but the opposite. I wouldn't mind helping with whatever I can but there needs to be someone driving it and calling the shots. We need more miners, investors and helpers in general as this is a very good opportunity to helping others and it would be a shame if this project fails to take off properly.
Please do let me know what you think, maybe I'm wrong and there is something happening in the background that I'm not aware.

I have to agree that there is little hype about CHA. But it has not been for lack of effort as we have tried many avenues to make it visible to miners and investors. There is something odd about how there is no hype about this coin but I can't quite put my finger on it. We are still working on the background. We have been trying to place CharityCoin in a few more exchanges, We have been contacting people who could write about CHA in their blogs, we are preparing a giveaway, We found and are working with an animator who is making a video animation about CHA, etc. One thing we realized is that we do not have a big community yet. We tried to get in a few Exchanges through vote and there is not been many people voting at all. Do not be discouraged about the lack of hype at this point. I believe it will slowly pick up which will be much healthier to the coin anyway. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me through PM if you would like to take part of it. I believe you once mentioned you could translate the thread to Spanish. If you could do so, it would be great. I am not a big miner, but I will constantly spend some time mining it  Good to hear that you have a long time vision. I think that everything is good (even perfect) with the name. There are a lot of other charitable coins that attract hype. Maybe a more clear coin slogan can help, smth like "By mining you are not only making money for yourself but also helping those who are in need" That is fine coinmeister. You have been a great support as you volunteered some of your time to start the subreddit, mined and even donated to some of the charities. It is much appreciated. If only we could get a few hundred of supporters like you, this coin would skyrocket. But although our community is small, it has some really well motivated people. The slogan is a great idea. This coin has very strong fundamentals and a zero hype Like Swisscex exchange, which is perfectly designed, but somehow people choose to trade in other flawed exchanges... Ehhh.. maybe the time will come for this coin. Fundamentals can keep it alive while other coins are going to die. Do I understand it correctly? The whole idea is that after a strong mining community is built, investors will buy-in, and these coins will appreciate immensely. This will benefit not only the charities but also the investors and miners. Although some people seem afraid of mining a coin labelled Charity, maybe because the name implies giving and if there is giving there is less profit, make no mistake about it, this coin can be extremely profitable. Most importantly, this coin has potential to generate a massive amount of money towards people who really need. And without even needing to ask for donations. The other coins are all dependant on a very trick factor to help charities: people actually opening theirs wallets and making a donation. Some will do it many won't. With CharityCoin the donations are already generated as every block is mined. For the idea to work we just need people mining and investing on it. We believe it will be one of the coins destined to stay after this period of over saturation in the crypto currency scene. Most coins die in a short period of time victims of brutal pump and dumps, but CharityCoin will grow slowly, as we will continue to work in developing and marketing it, and after the dust settles, it will become a strong coin. For now we can only try and get CHA integrated to more exchanges. Which became a bit of a challenge at the moment since most exchanges are using a voting/bribing system. So we either need a large CHA community voting us in or Bitcoins to pay for exchange integration. Right now we have none of the two. |

On the Charity addresses I see the inputs but I also see outputs. Where are these outputs going? Do you have some type of "exchange receipt" if you are cashing these out and sending checks to the charities? I applaud the Charity address transparencies but there are no output transparencies as far as I can tell.
Hi neuroMode. The outputs where minimal so far and spent on 1 donation, bounties and the giveaway . I am preparing a spreadsheet with the addresses these where sent, reason and the name of the charity, bountyhunter or giveaway claimer for full disclosure. No charity coins will ever be "cashed out". They are meant to be donate and disbursed as CHAs. My apologies on the delay in preparing this spreadsheet. Although we have a good team involved, the workload is immense.
