the second blockchain would have 1M coins. If not fixed after 16000 blocks it would generate other 500000 coins, and again after other 16000 and again, again and again. I personally vote for the first blockchain, but if fixed also the second is usable

Watching the code I noticed the in the function GetBlockValue in main.cpp, where I think the reward is established, the nSubsidy variable overflows! exactly when it reaches block 16000. 'cause it's 64 bit and it is shifted of 16000/250=64 bits!

I'm absolutely a noob about p2pool and rpc, how do I actually mine these coins, get the fees and help the network? it's all done by the wallet or I need another program? I probably haven't enough hash/s to do something useful but maybe I can try.

The windows wallet seems to work under ubuntu with wine, I placed it in ~/.wine/drive_c/users/Username/Application Data/Premine/premine-qt.exe with the premine.conf I launched it with wine and it worked And now I also have a PMC address 1J5cheVRhvhfsJGjRa3EzQpSUUT78JekWg edit: didn't see deodecagone's post, now i try

I downloaded the pre-built Linux QT but it doesn't start , in the terminal it gives this error: ./premine-qt: error while loading shared libraries: libdb_cxx-4.8.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ps: I'm on ubuntu 13.10

what about adding vertcoin? I think they are interesting and there aren't big exchanges using them
