no blockexplorer?? hide premine???

Untill there is a blockexplorer, you could also just look at the code at github ... there is NO premine.

Playing around with the miner software makes a difference too .. some pools work better with the dwarfpool builds .. others with sgminer and diff-multiplier flag. For example on suprnova I seem to have more luck with sgminer with multiplier and on nicemining and omarspools the dwarfpool build works better ... this is my personal experience though ... just try and find your sweet spot/software Wink

shitcoin to difficult to mine, it is worth nothing. Grin

Hahaha, some people ...
Coin barely exists for a day .. ofcoz it's worth nothing,  ... and the high difficulty means it's adopted like crazy ... net hash rate passed the 8 Gh/s already .... this is good!

I just got an offer in a PM to sell 50 coins for 0.000025... Huh

That's quite undervalued imho .. there are only 4.5 million coins in total and with 1920 blocks of 10 coins a day not that much coins on market yet Wink
At block 1483 right now.  So only 14830 coins available
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ATH] ATHEISTCOIN | DGW3 | GROESTL-based on: June 10, 2014, 12:39:49 AM
Whats the point of ninja launch of coin that will be mined 24 months

So that people don't plan ahead and rent rigs that mine 80% of the coins and then they will be the biggest shareholders and control the market? Cheesy

Services like nicehash etc are killing new coins .. although at least they do not have Groestl (yet), I think? Wink

I detect many blocks but not solving them. Why is that so?

Has been happening to me too lately, it might be because of ping-delay, someone closer to the nodes found it at the same time as me and got the coins instead. Not sure.

Could OP post the EU nodes in the thread?

seed1.atheistcoin.org is hosted in Ireland
http://geomaplookup.net/?ip=seed1.atheistcoin.org

But yeah .. pools would be nice by now Wink

31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ATH] ATHEISTCOIN | DGW3 | GROESTL-based on: June 09, 2014, 10:50:22 PM
Can we get a pool going please? Where is suprnova when you need him Cheesy I wanna go to bed. xD

I just mailed suprnova about this coin Wink
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ATH] ATHEISTCOIN | DGW3 | GROESTL-based on: June 09, 2014, 09:48:40 PM
Mastermine ..you can mine with the wallet, just type setgenerate true in the debug console  ... it is not a trojan .. that is what we call a FALSE positive.
Please do not spread false information.

Yes they do... it's called a one day fly ... just look at the guy who invented the floppydisk... He only came up with weird stuff and fails after that.
34  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Blundert Stichting Bitcoin door zich te lieeren aan BitcoinFoundation/B. Pierce? on: May 27, 2014, 09:27:48 PM
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: is it still worthwhile to get into altcoin mining now? on: April 15, 2014, 04:19:58 PM
i'm still in the research phase... if you were just starting out, would you build a rig or just buy certain coins on an exchange?

I got in 1.5 months ago.. so far made 1.2 BTC by mining and trading.. so still profitable imho

Well, I give up .... time wasted and still no working pools/wallets.

Idiots ... everybody is calling themselves developer nowadays while all they do is clone some other coin, do a search and replace and they are set ... if you still manage to fuck that up by not having compiled yet 10 minutes before launch you are an imcompetent boob ... take that from someone who develops for a living :S

it is premined 2%... why would you even consider mining this?

I would never buy a premined coin and will only mine while diff is below 2 ... then I am back to my REAL coins.
Still it can't hurt to mine like an hour or two to just stack some ... even if they are only a couple a satoshi .. first blocks go fast enough to still make it worth my while.

Menzo ... you trolling right ?

All pools report 0 network rate and friggin site just gives a Database Error so I can't solo mine either.

I nominate this team as noobs of the year ... if you start compiling 10 minutes before launch you are a bit thick.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT - NEW Innovative Proof Of Transaction - PoT / PoW / PoS on: April 04, 2014, 09:24:19 PM
to pictsidhe:

Here is what worked for me (solving Fluttercoin wallet stuck on block 15553 problem):

1. Delete all files in %appdata% (*:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Fluttercoin) except for your fluttercoin.conf and wallet.dat

2. Make your fluttercoin.conf file look like this (create one if it doesn't exist):
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
connect=54.203.244.170
connect=54.203.244.27
connect=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
dnsseed=0

3. Run the wallet, and let it sync.

4. Shutdown the wallet, and change the fluttercoin.conf to look like this:
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.203.244.170
addnode=54.203.244.27
addnode=54.199.237.235
noirc=1
listen=1
dnsseed=1
server=1

Thanks! This worked Smiley
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - E-SPORTS/WATER PROJECT*BULLION/AMAZON*9 EXCHANGES*40 MERCHANTS on: April 04, 2014, 06:43:16 PM
Been waiting for a while now. Are the devs ever gonna fix the -datadir option? Do they even know they broke it?

Noblecoin is the only wallet I have which I can't run from a secured drive (out of 67 wallets) thus forcing me to run it from harddisk.

Running the following on a command prompt: noblecoin-qt.exe -datadir=.   results in a complete crash and throws this as error:

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"

Devs. please fix this ... it's an essential feature for security minded folks.

Edit:

Lol, found the issue ... it's in the included noblecoin.conf,
When I remove that from the folder and then run the QT-client with -datadir=. it DOES work.
