No nodes. Wallet not synching.

I am getting this error and the block height doesnt go past 89451 . Any solution for this? The client is up-to-date and already deleted and re-downloaded the blockchain a couple of times. I'm getting this aswell.. but I'm right now at block 89510. Still finding blocks, but the error stays there. I'm going to try to send these coins to Cryptorush and see what happens. |

Well, this is the first time I finally figured out how to solomine anything, and with 1mh have zero coins.

No luck. The devs are probably still mining this, and they are closest to the nodes. This means they will probably get the majority of blocks because of their ping advantage. I'd say don't bother. You can buy 2k of my coins @ 0.01BTC if you want? xD |

How long until coins are eligible for staking? We need this kind of information since you're launching a PoS-driven coin.

My MintCoin QT doesn't seem to be installed on my computer whereas my other wallets do. It works perfectly by just clicking the exe file in the extracted folder. Is this normal or should I be worried as it won't work correctly?
helppppppp The only "installation" that takes place is the MintCoin folder being created in the Roaming directory. Use the search function and search for %appdata% - you should find the "Roaming" folder. Open it and check for a folder called MintCoin, is it there? Then everything should be in working order. |

Okay i think its time that we start searching for merchants. Anyone good in that area ?
Also i think it would be a good idea to update some of the info in the OP, the web page isnt even there, more info on the POS is needed there. On the web page maybe it would be a good idea to get a " how to " sectio, with detailed explanations on how to get blackcoin etc.
Other then that, some masive reddit and facebook campaings would be a good idea, maybe even a paid facebook add's campaing. For something like 100-200$ we can get like 2000+ likes on the page, and well i am sure we can get that from donations, i will be the first one to donate to that.
Website + PoS newcomer explanation/tutorial has to be high priority. These are fundamental to BC's success. Trying to get merchants is probably every coin's white whale. We have to jump on this too! |

Anything under 1000 sat is a steal. Anything under 2000 sat is a bargain. Anything under 3000 sat is a good deal. |

I am concerned why Blackcoin tanked, would the same thing happen to MINT?
BC tanked along with every other altcoin these last weeks. I think the AUR/MZC craze has contributed to the decline of a lot of alts, too. People are selling what they have to make money off of AUR etc at the moment, so a lot of capital is tied up in those alts. People have had their eye on Mint (and Black for that matter) for a while now, so it's in the forefront of the community's consciousness. That's a huge plus. Once people realize the potential in Mint and Black, which probably won't take long, we will see serious increases in price. Just wait for some capital to be freed from the coin-of-the-week. |

So it seems like MintCoin has screwed up their block reward. It has already hit pure PoS even though there was 4 days left of mining. No word from the devs about this yet.
Hopefully people will see that BlackCoin has had a terrific launch + transition from PoW into PoS. BlackCoin is one of few coins that hasn't had any problems whatsoever the past weeks, or so it seems.
Just like oldmarsh said, BlackCoin is insanely cheap right now. I'm buying more all the time, and the best thing is that miners can't dump the price. No multipools dumping insane amounts.
I also love that I don't have to wait for 20 days for my coins to stake like with MintCoin. That's too much of a wait, people get antsy pretty quickly. BlackCoins in my wallet only has to wait 8 hours..

Delete the config and just try to use the node 188***** with the lel.bat that should work. If not I will look into it. We can't solo mine without the conf. You dont need the conf you can create it yourself. I created it already. Dev told us to delete the conf file and use lel.bat, as can be read above. |
