Enjoying life while young kahit enough lang ang ipin or ipon hard now then enjoy later once matanda na basta ensured na financially?

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain (RUNE) is soon obsolete, here's why. on: March 13, 2024, 06:09:10 AM
I am an early adopter of RUNE and bagged a good amount of it from airdrops, events, and games. However, during that time, the token had little value. Years passed by, and I discovered that I forgot where I placed the private key of the wallet storing that coin. Then, I saw its price climb to 500. It's so frustrating. Despite its past obscurity, RUNE's recent surge in value proves its potential resilience and longevity in the market. It's a stark reminder of the volatility and unpredictability inherent in the cryptocurrency space
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the biggest airdrop you've ever received? on: March 13, 2024, 06:00:21 AM
One particular project caught my eye – Rock Coin. The promises seemed enticing, and the community buzz was palpable. Without much expectation, I followed the simple steps outlined to participate in the airdrop.
Weeks passed, and I almost forgot about it until one fateful morning. Checking my wallet, I was so amazed to find a good amount of Rock Coin tokens inside my wallet. That is the first time I received that amount from airdrop, I quickly calculated their value against the current market rates, and to my disbelief, it amounted to over $2,700!

Notcoin nft sale. Have time to buy nft before the listing of the coin Smiley Smiley Smiley
https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0xfe467d249e380326278f6162154d11095df3656e/1

The link provided for the Notcoin NFT sale appears to be suspicious and potentially dangerous. Please exercise extreme caution before clicking on it.

Here are some reasons why you should be careful:

Unverified Source: The link leads to an OpenSea collection, but the legitimacy of the project is uncertain.

Too Good to Be True: The promise of buying NFTs before the coin listing can be a red flag. Scammers often use such tactics to lure unsuspecting users.
Risk of Phishing or Malware: Clicking on unknown links can expose you to phishing attacks or malware. Always verify the authenticity of links before interacting with them.

Do Your Due Diligence: Research the project, check the team behind it, and look for any warnings from reputable sources.
Remember, in the crypto world, security comes first. Stay informed, protect your assets, and be cautious of enticing offers. If in doubt, avoid clicking on suspicious links.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins profits or bank profits, which best? on: March 12, 2024, 12:50:48 AM
Investing in both institutions has its own pros and cons. When it comes to banks, the return on investment is relatively low due to the fixed percentage they offer, which tends to be quite minimal. However, the risk is also relatively low since banks worldwide adhere to the standards set by institutions like the World Bank.

On the other hand, cryptocurrency presents a different scenario. If you purchase at a favorable price and the value remains low, the profit potential can be substantial. Even small fluctuations in the token's value can result in significant differences. While the earning potential is high, so is the risk involved.
27  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines SEC will Ban Binance. Effectivity End of Feb. 2024 on: March 09, 2024, 01:51:35 PM
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $5000 investing now - which 5 projects? on: March 09, 2024, 01:46:07 PM
Investing $5,000 in cryptocurrency can be a good idea if you're new to the market. I've decided to put my money into Solana, Celestia, and Dymension. But hey, it's all about what works for you! Just remember to think about how each project might grow over time. Do some digging on the tech, the team behind it, and where it might go in the future. Finding projects with real potential could mean big returns down the road.

one-CPU-one-vote
Quote
"31/Oct/2008 Proof-of-work is essentially one-CPU-one-vote"
Satoshi Nakamoto talked about the importance of decentralized mining in his whitepaper. We want to create a blockchain that anyone can do mining easily without any entry barriers.

  • CPU mining only:
    • YespowerShuga (based on Yespower 1.0.1) is only for Shugacoin, not compatible with other Yespower coins.
    • The minimum difficulty (powlimit) is set low enough for two reasons. The first is to handle fast block time; The second is to allow mining on slow CPUs.
  • Mining efficiency:
    • According to the test results, the most efficient is using 8 threads on a single CPU.
    • YespowerShuga is more suitable for older CPUs, because it is essentially a multi-threading resistor. Suitable for smartphones and raspberrypi.
  • NO GPU: GPU mining is not possible.
  • NO ASIC: ASIC mining is not possible.
Other advantages
Native segwit (Bech32) address built-in by default: Starting with shuga1q...
Fast blockchain synchronization: Using sha256d in header indexing, the initial synchronization speed is as fast as Litecoin

It's intriguing to learn about Shugacoin's focus on decentralized mining and its emphasis on CPU mining specifically. This one-CPU-one-vote concept aligns with Satoshi Nakamoto's vision of creating a blockchain accessible to anyone without entry barriers.
Regarding CPU mining, could you share more insights into how Shugacoin ensures mining accessibility and efficiency, especially for users with older CPUs or those using devices like smartphones and Raspberry Pi? Additionally, with GPU and ASIC mining not possible, how does Shugacoin maintain its security and decentralization?

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thorchain (RUNE) is soon obsolete, here's why. on: March 08, 2024, 01:40:25 PM
Hey fellow crypto enthusiasts!

Thorchain (RUNE) is currently one of the most popular DEX's out there, allowing native BTC trading on their platform. This makes them stand out from other ethereum-based DEX's such as Uniswap, or Sushiswap which only allows ethereum tokens.

There's just one major problem. A problem we've faced for YEARS now. Fees  Roll Eyes

Imagine if you could day trade BTC or ETH on a DEX, without paying $10 for each trade? That's currently NOT possible, nor feasible as each trade needs to be accepted on the network, which takes way way too long.

Hydranet has solved this issue with gas fees on Ethereum, as well as fees on Bitcoin trading. How? Off-chain trading. MADE SIMPLE.

Hydranet is currently sitting on a 11 mio marketcap, which is 180x LESS than Thorchain so the upside is MASSIVE on this one.

They built the first L3 DEX in the world
, it's Live, you can go use it already, but with limited pairs, and volume for now.

Next on their pipeline is a Web-DEX which will work similar to Metamask, offering near instant exchange settlements. This means you can access your own wallet, and trade exactly how you normally do, but with VERY small fees.  Wink

All fees on the DEX is used to buy-back HDN on the open market, as well as on-going fee distributions to token holders paid in ETH! Now, this is going to drive investor demand up immensely.

Hydranet could potential be a competitor to Uniswap, which if Hydranet reaches the same marketcap, it will be worth $70+/token. (And it's currently trading at 6!!!! cents).

Here's a comparison video between Thorchain, and Hydranet. It speaks for itself... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SJsAUx-hJA

The idea of being able to day trade BTC or ETH on a DEX without breaking the bank is definitely appealing.
Hydranet's approach to solving this problem with off-chain trading sounds promising. By reducing gas fees on Ethereum and tackling fees on Bitcoin trading, they're addressing a significant barrier to entry for many users. Plus, building the first L3 DEX in the world is a bold move that could have a big impact on the industry.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DID you get portal airdrop? on: March 07, 2024, 02:57:05 PM
Yesterday there was much excitement twitter about Portal airdrop with multiple platforms like Binance, Bitget,L bank listing. I wasn't lucky to participate hence I feel the need to ask. Anyone that got the airdop here, was the stress worth it?maybe this could be a motivator to take these airdrop quest serious

Most of the airdrops I've participated in haven't been lucky for me. I don't know why, but my Metamask wallet always seems to be ineligible. Even on Binance, Bybit, and other exchanges, I never seem to get any airdrops. It's frustrating, to be honest. Some people are so lucky, always getting great airdrops. What am I missing here?
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bullish are we in this bull run? on: March 07, 2024, 02:49:54 PM
So far so good, How bullish are some of you?

To be honest, not everyone who is shouting I'm bullish on the internet are actually bullish. Some bought the top due to so much noise, others missed and sold early while some are actually bullish as they claim.

So let's discuss.:

- for those who the market wasn't favourable, what are the things you did wrong and what corrections have you learnt from your mistake

- For those who the market favoured from day one, share your knowledge with others so everyone can learn and do better.

Note; this bull run just started, we can learn something new that will get you ready for the next phase.

Honestly, not everyone shouting "I'm bullish" is truly feeling it. Some got caught up in the excitement and bought at the wrong time, while others panicked and sold too soon. But there are also genuine believers out there. That's why we can't say that everyone will make huge profits in this ongoing bull market and the upcoming Bitcoin halving.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 05, 2024, 07:58:46 AM
And some of those are the aptos, Arb, people, and others who can tell if it's their first time to face or join the bull run and halving, so I am pretty sure that this is also the first time that they will be able to show their ATH high this coming bull run.

Maybe, maybe not. Hard to defeat Bitcoin and Ethereum because both have gained significant market share and are the first in their categories that have boomed. Alt L1s and L2s on the other hand, it's pretty much a battlefield. There's no clear answer right now which ones would actually have long-term staying power.

You make a valid point. Bitcoin and Ethereum have indeed established themselves as dominant players in the cryptocurrency space, benefiting from first-mover advantage and widespread adoption. However, when it comes to alternative Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions, the landscape is far more dynamic and uncertain. While there may not be a clear answer right now, staying informed and remaining adaptable to market dynamics can position investors to navigate the evolving landscape more effectively.
34  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Accepted Store Spotted 🔥 on: March 05, 2024, 07:53:07 AM

Code:
Picture ng store:
Link ng exact coordinates sa google map:
Accepted Crypto Currency(If other crypto is available):

36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: March 02, 2024, 02:13:13 AM
I'd like to focus my answer on this question: Why we need to buy meme coin?

Certainly! Let's delve into why GIGAChadGPT is more than just a memecoin and why it's worth considering:

1. AI Integration: Unlike typical memecoins, GIGAChadGPT is uniquely integrated with artificial intelligence (AI). Users can engage with the GIGAChadGPT AI chatbot on their website or via Telegram. This AI-powered chatbot aims to be the ultimate alpha chatbot on the internet.

2. Project Vision: The project's objective goes beyond mere meme status. The team behind GIGAChadGPT has a highly advanced vision and plan. They are actively executing their roadmap, which sets them apart from many other projects.

3. Legitimate Long-Term Potential: While memecoins often ride on hype, GIGAChadGPT stands out with its legitimate long-term potential. The team is focused on building real-world use cases, which bodes well for sustained growth.

4. Organic Community Growth: The community around GIGAChadGPT is growing organically and rapidly. Investors firmly believe in the project, and the Telegram group is devoid of spammers, FUD (fear, uncertainty, and doubt), or negativity.

5. Influencer Partnerships: The marketing team is securing partnerships with influential figures, including prominent Twitter accounts. These partnerships will help spread the word about GIGAChadGPT.

6. Early Investment Opportunity: With only around 1600 holders at its current market cap, investors are still very early in the game. Missing out on this opportunity could be a regrettable decision.

In summary, GIGAChadGPT transcends the typical memecoin narrative. It combines AI, community support, and a solid vision to create something more substantial. If you're looking for a unique project with growth potential, consider joining the GIGAChadGPT revolution!

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: March 02, 2024, 12:48:05 AM
All in a bid to ensure I have a concrete investment plan this year, I researched some of the altcoins that has the potential to yield the best return over a duration of 5years. BTC and Eth top my list as one of the more secure coins, but other altcoins have proven to be reliable overtime, if you agree. Despite market volatility and the possibility of a crash, which is your most valid choice right now.

*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?

- $BTC *
- $ETH *
- $ADA
- $VET
- $SOL
- $MATIC
- $SHIB
- $NEAR
- $DOGE
- $DOT
- $LINK

These are some of the best I have seen so far.

*What advice would you give me?

Considering the diverse range of options you've listed, each with its own potential for growth and risks, choosing the right cryptocurrency can indeed be challenging. BTC and ETH are undoubtedly solid choices, given their established positions in the market and strong track records.

However, your interest in exploring alternative options is understandable, especially considering the potential for higher returns over a five-year period. Altcoins like ADA, VET, SOL, MATIC, and others have demonstrated promising performance and garnered significant attention from investors.

That said, it's crucial to conduct thorough research on each cryptocurrency, considering factors such as technology, adoption, team, community support, and use cases. Additionally, assessing your risk tolerance and investment goals is key in making an informed decision.

Ultimately, there's no one-size-fits-all answer, and what works for one investor may not necessarily work for another. It may be beneficial to consider diversifying your investment across multiple cryptocurrencies to mitigate risk and maximize potential returns.

Above all, remember to invest only what you can afford to lose and to stay informed about market trends and developments. Seeking advice from financial experts or experienced investors can also provide valuable insights into making sound investment decisions.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Launchpool, a possible earning opportunity? on: March 02, 2024, 12:44:11 AM
Hello there, and Merry Christmas to everyone!

First of all, I'd like to state that I'm in no way affiliated with Binance, nor am I a large fan of centralized exchanges. I keep the majority of my funds, especially Bitcoin, off exchanges for the known reasons that have been discussed on the forum multiple times, and I'm not going to repeat them again, except for some stablecoins, which aren't a huge amount but still a decent sum of money. So, without further ado, let's return to the subject.

I've been participating in Binance's Launchpool since late July, with the first project that I staked, the coin Pendle. I didn't stake for the whole 30 days it was available in order to have the full picture, but it wasn't worth staking my coins there rather than on a different platform. All other options after that, SEI, Cyber, MEME, Neutron, with the last one being Fusionist (ACE), yielded great results, especially the last one, in which I regret participating only for a day or two.

So far, I've had great returns. Keep in mind that I acknowledge that most of the coins being listed there have no actual purpose, nor do I have faith in them, nor are they to be held for long-term purposes; they're simply pumped due to Binance's intervention, and I'm taking advantage of that. Currently, another coin, NFPrompt, is listed, shortly after ACE was discontinued, and another one was announced today.

I personally believe that if these projects are taken advantage of through Launchpool, it's basically risk-free money. The only thing you're risking is the opportunity cost of the money you're putting into staking.

What are your thoughts? Have you ever tried it before, and if yes, do you believe it's worth a try?

It's interesting to hear about your experiences with Binance's Launchpool, especially given your stance on centralized exchanges. It sounds like you've had some success with the projects you've participated in, despite acknowledging that many of the listed coins may lack long-term viability.

While Launchpool can indeed offer attractive returns in the short term, it's crucial to weigh the risks involved, including the potential for market manipulation and the volatility of newly listed tokens. As you mentioned, the opportunity cost of staking funds should also be considered.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your view and your opinion about Ethereum? on: February 29, 2024, 08:13:36 AM
Ethereum (ETH) has shown remarkable growth, especially after the Shapella upgrade in April 2023.
While exact predictions vary, some experts believe ETH could reach a valuation of $40,000 by 2030.
Factors contributing to this bullish outlook include Ethereum’s unique model, scalability solutions, and its leadership in various decentralized applications (DApps)1.
Ethereum Projects to Watch:
DeFi (Decentralized Finance): Ethereum remains the heart of DeFi, powering lending, yield farming, and decentralized exchanges.
Layer 2 Solutions: Projects like Optimism, Arbitrum, and Polygon enhance Ethereum’s scalability and reduce gas fees.
NFT Ecosystem: Ethereum continues to dominate the NFT space, with platforms like OpenSea and Rarible thriving.
Ethereum 2.0: The transition to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) aims to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Ethereum ETFs: Approval of an Ethereum ETF could boost institutional adoption and drive prices
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will China takeover as the leader in blockchain and start the new bull market? on: February 29, 2024, 07:54:39 AM
Many similar questions are being asked about China after rumors of a blockchain is being backed by Beijing. There are some people who say that it is Conflux, however, there is a blockchain developed by Beijing academy of blockchain called Chain Maker, where government controlled businesses like Tencent and China Construction are also supporting the project.

NFTs are also being supported by the government in Shanghai through approvals of the creation of NFT trading platforms.

However, everything begins in Hong Kong, where their government has allowed all users to buy and sell crypto. If mainland China follows, it might bring the cryptospace back to the bull markets that are more similar to 2017. The pumps during those bull market years with China were bigger and higher.

Another argument on why China might become the leader in the cryptospace is because the American government has been imposing regulations without clarity that causes many developers confused and leave or stop working for projects based in America.

1. Conflux: A promising Chinese blockchain project.
2. Shanghai NFTs: The government supports NFT trading platforms.
3. Hong Kong: Allows crypto trading, potentially impacting the market.
4. Regulatory Clarity: China’s clear stance may attract developers.
In short, China’s crypto developments are worth watching!
