21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: October 25, 2022, 09:46:10 PM
Stablecoins help one to stay over above market when the market is crashng. Some stablecoins area death trap should they depegged. We saw that deppeging happened with UST.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs are a waste of time on: October 23, 2022, 06:30:45 PM
The NFT market itself looks like scam. I bought some NFTs that are now lying useless in my account. An asset that has no instant exchange value can't be said to be a good investment, I buy X and I can't instantly exchange it for a value is a joke, I have to be praying for a buyer to buy it someday.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mnemonic is no longer safe? on: October 21, 2022, 01:03:59 PM
Mnemonic phrase has always been saved, it's the way you handle your wallets that determines the security and safety. Some persons store their recovery phrase on emails, google drive, notepad and other online security storages. This should be discontinued and never to be tolerated for any reason. I understand some persons have been caught unaware in this era of web3 and Defi movement due to phishing links compromising their wallets, therefore it's important to practice proper wallet management and deploy hardware wallet for bigger fund.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation really inevitable? on: October 21, 2022, 12:52:50 PM
Fully regulating bitcoin in the future is impossible because of it decentralized nature and tracking every single transaction will be too costly. They just will be constrained to reported case or interested fund or personalities. Some non-custodian wallets will comply with security agents with the enforcement of KYC. We already saw popular blockchain wallet introducing KYC giving compliance customers some airdrops. I don't keep bitcoin in that wallet anymore.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Throwback: Bitcoin was $64k today, a year ago. on: October 21, 2022, 12:44:05 PM
Bitcoin took some of us by surprise, during when the Covid-19 was gaining momentum, BTC slumped to about $3500 in march 2020 and did the unexpected and went straight up with over 18x, you have got to respect bitcoin, next bull run may run to $100k, when is what I can't say. It's wise to keep what we have and not listen to FUDers.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BSV the end. on: October 20, 2022, 08:04:58 PM
I sold my BSV when they started misleading the public that it was the original ideology of bitcoin that they were going to dethrone bitcoin and become the original bitcoin Some noobs got screwed by the false tales about BSV, I haven,t check t \he price for a long while now.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin made you a millionaire? on: October 19, 2022, 08:46:14 PM
I am yet to hit millions in dollars but Uni, Cake, Woof, Ubix bake and few others gave me thousands of dollars, I sold some too early which made me to hold some as in diamond hands and they would later dump badly on me. No regret though  we learn from our mistake to avoid them in the future. I got the tokens from been very active in a crypto community. I bought all with my money except UNI which came as an airdrop.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: determine a good project on: October 19, 2022, 08:19:17 PM
I have discovered that any project that survives brutal bear market usually perform very well during the bull market. However, people don't pay attention to resilience projects, they chase quick profit tokens and at the end of the game, they loss it all.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 19, 2022, 08:15:59 PM
I was lucky to get Evmos airdrop on cosmos ecosystem, I had to stake them for passive income and provide liquidity on their EVM dex which is diffusion. Although APY has dropped from high but still very profitable, I have chosen to compound most of my earnings for future airdrops from projects building on the ecosystem. Some good airdrop has been paying even in this bear. Just look at APTOS, some persons got good cash today.
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: October 18, 2022, 01:48:02 PM
There are so much problem the bitcoin has solved and keeps solving. The government spend huge amount of money printing paper money and same government will have to mop up cash when they start decaying and not too fit for public health, they burn it up thereby incurring huge financial losses. Bitcoin doesn't transmit diseases unlike the fiat that was a means of transferring Covid-19 and other dangerous disease, with bitcoin, traditional banks need not fleece me of transaction fees within and across borders regardless of the amount am transacting.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 18, 2022, 01:38:18 PM
Bitcoin is a financial movement that is independent of the richest men and companies in the world, Elon Musk and Tesla inclusive. These class of people don't determine the direction and circles of bitcoin market, they need bitcoin more than need them, we know the fiat is crashing we need a decentralized currency to preserve the value of our wealth and bitcoin should be the answer in the long run.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bear Market More Important Than the Bull Market? on: October 18, 2022, 01:32:33 PM
During the bear market like this, you just use it to learn new skills and study the market movement and trends. In bull market just don't carried away by new altcoin hypes as they are out to steal your precious BTC and give you worthless shitcoins. Many years from now, many altcoin projects would be dead but BTC will still be here. If you have the money as per spare fund, you can be accumulating BTC in trenches.
33  Other / Politics & Society / Re: During the morning missile attack on Ukraine, the Russians hit Samsung Offices on: October 14, 2022, 06:08:26 PM
This is sad and needless. I urge Putin to stop the bombing and return to negotiation table, people are dying and starving to death. This is even taking it toils on Europe economic and the world at large. non-essential shops should close down.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: October 13, 2022, 08:20:33 PM
I have made more money from airdrop than bounty no doubt, my biggest hit was Uniswap airdrop was just exploring Defi trades and got scammed with many projects during the presales days of Uniswap but Uniswap eventually smiled on me, it was a moment I'll live to tell. 1inch gave me some tokens for some of my activities.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: newbie invest on: October 13, 2022, 07:24:53 PM
From the experience on how this space works, many persons are regretting including myself for not converting huge profits from altcoins to bitcoin. Don't chase shadows and miss bitcoin the real deal. People who lost to LUNA and UST will prefer bitcoin in the future. Bitcoin is the first to buy someday, it's going to $200K.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ETH price keeps decreasing? on: October 13, 2022, 07:19:47 PM
Bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency, and it controls the market, every other single project in the market relies on the direction of bitcoin to make a decision. Should bitcoin starts going haywire, every other projects will receive life.  Another thing about ETH price is the switch from POW to POS, resulting in a fork which think they should retain POW.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shit coins era is going to end on: October 12, 2022, 01:07:10 PM
Shitcoins are born every day in this space, and it's like gambling. I have left shitcoin alone, a lot took my money and I don't want them to take more. At the end of the day, people would realize they should have bought good projects for the future with the money they lost to shitcoin. 2017/2018 pattern is at play again, in quest for quick relief money, you end up been burnt.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Solana be the next Ethereum??? on: October 12, 2022, 12:09:26 PM
Solana blockchain has a very high speed with about 65,000 TPS,  and the network shutdown when it attempted to do a 400,000 TPS and keeps crashing ever since, I understand good technology takes  time to advance with constant development. Ethereum has a superior technology than Solana. ETH and Solana are not in same class.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: October 12, 2022, 11:56:16 AM
New technology is always viewed as a scam until it becomes a success. I haven't study much about the metaverse, and I don't believe much about it. I see many persons buying lands and houses on the metaverse, I don't know how this is going to later work out but I am open to learning. The film "MATRIX" gave us a glimpse of the Metaverse.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trustwallet Safe? on: October 12, 2022, 11:46:39 AM

Trustwallet is also close source. You do not know what Trustwallet developers are doing behind. I can not advice anyone to use close source wallet.
I currently use trustwallet for some of my Defi trades and others like Imtoken for mostly ERC20 and Metamask extension for more complex trades. When you said "Trustwallet is closed source" does this mean they can track your recover phrase or Private keys at the backend? Many persons have complained that their trustwallet got hacked, I have had to defend trustwallet team when they blame the developers for the hack. This closed source gives me concern. Please, what's the difference between Trustwallet, Imtoken,Safepal, tokenport and Metamask in terms of security and source code? Thanks
