22  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: May 25, 2016, 06:21:02 AM
Ticket owner has asked me to send using his paypal profile account. "www.paypal.me/xyz" .Should I send as a "goods" payment? or, sending as a gift like this is also very safe for me?

Neither. Paypal disputes over a ticket are very hard to solve: usually "goods" sales which are very well described BEFORE the sale on websites like ebay and for which sellers can provide a delivery proof and detailed TOS for refunds..."may" be evaluated for a chargeback. If you have a not better defined "ad" over craiglist for something that could be a fake (like a ticket, a coupon etc)...i can see only troubles there.
If you send funds as a "gift", instead, you can say good bye to your money even before to open a dispute.
23  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: May 24, 2016, 08:37:04 PM
Here is the risk:

...the seller never delivers, or just ignores me, or sends me a fake ticket....

If the seller is on this forum you can use an escrow.

For what it's worth, the posted link doesn't seem to go anywhere useful at all. While not in the market for an S9, I though it would be interesting to look.

The URL looks a little malformed to me........
It is an OpenBazaar URL

25  Economy / Lending / Re: Empretimo for mining investment on: May 24, 2016, 12:34:17 PM
Hello I want a loan of 10 BTC for this by investing in mining on the site : hashocean.com a great site that I have already account for more than one year and has good yields can pay per month loan with the condition to pay more what I got to invest.
Please....
1.- Hashocean is a ponzi
2.- You are going to loose alla your "invested" Money
3.- None will ever lend you that Money
4.- IF i was a DT i would already mark you Red so consider yourself lucky for now
5.- Lock this thread and mark it for deletion ASAP

Be smart and dont make me post "i told ya" in a few minutes, bud...

The entire point of this post is a bit confused to me. Chargeback on paypal may happen only if you funded the purchase using your bank or credit card.
If you funded the purchase using your paypal balance, instead, you have to be carefull because Digital Goods and Money to friend and family CANT be charged back.
If you sold physical goods and have good proofs of delivery (or refunds if that was the case), you are pretty safe about chargebacks too (provided a fair sale/auction)
Reference: https://www.paypal.com/en/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/cps/seller/ChargebackRisk-outside

IF anyone of you need more explanations and references, you can PM me, as being a power seller on ebay with more then 20k transactions, i faced up a lot of chargebacks attempts...and i only have ONE paypal account. And no: the domino chargeback wont happen, paypal only charges the seller account until the dispute is solved Wink

You should go over to the Currency Exchange https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 and put that into practice by selling some BitCoins... #JustSaying ...  Roll Eyes

and then understand how many misconceptions you have.. #JustAddedToTimelord2067'sSaying Cheesy
No lol  i not gonna touch that!
But seriously i never seen a domino effect of a chargeback...and again with some thousands of ebay transactions it happened to see chargeback....ONLY the seller account got the effect. But yeah if anyone have confirmed domino chargebacks i would be interested to know more and learn how to protect myself better. But please i think only proven and directly experienced issues can help...no FUD  Wink

29  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: May 23, 2016, 09:40:21 PM
Hello,

We have lowered prices for GPU farm rentals, check it out here:

NiceHash GPU Farm rental

Best regards,
NiceHash team.
I dont get your point man (besides a gambling solo lottery):
GPU RIG NVIDIA Type.N1
Rental duration    Price
3 months            2.25 BTC

Actually 6xNvidia GTX960 can mine 0.0025 per card/day: total daily 0.0145 X 3 months = 1.30 BTC

Am i missing something?

Of course we will publish our S9(Yeppppp , S9 is the name , because in Bitmain"s history, odd number means good luck =antminer beijing hot items in a selling season) which is made of our next generation chips. And we are lack of accurate information when it will release ,before that we need a long term test process to make sure the stable perfomance. So I have no idea where the information of mining sweden form ? also, I dont know why some users choose to believe him instead of inquiry form Bitmain.

have a nice day !

32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Deep Web Marketplace Silk Road 3.0 Is Back on: May 14, 2016, 09:25:34 AM
The fact that only websites (with low-decent amount of traffic) spoke about it means It's not really that legit because bigger websites would go deep into it and get more information's .
33  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [List] Bitcoin Advertising Networks on: April 27, 2016, 07:41:08 PM

35  Economy / Reputation / Re: What happened to Muhammed Zakir ? on: April 14, 2016, 08:07:24 AM
Remember back when Muhammed Zakir came online for a few days, and seemed to do nothing? He did more then nothing. He locked his lending thread. The last post was Jan 22, 2016

He defaulted the loan in late December, so the only explanation is that he locked it when he came online.. Obviously, I could be wrong and a staff member or someone else locked it, but I can't check. This is a very minor thing, but it could mean he did something else. (Edit a post maybe?)

I'm more then sure that I saw this topic closed long time ago so I don't think he closed the last time he connected .
36  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 14, 2016, 07:59:04 AM
I won't be doing anything with them because I consider 400$~ as a low price and Bitcoin have big potentials so I'm not letting them go for this price . HODL !

Hi guys,
So, I have a full list of Bitcoin advertising networks and I would appreciate if U-Ads users could give their review here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0 to make sure it's legit and see if I should add it or not .

You probably could add Bitteasers.com,  decentralized, blockchain based ads network.

It's not working for me ,It's says :

bitteasers.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Anonymity of Bitcoin Urban Legend. (Terrible Things You Didn't Know About) on: March 17, 2016, 07:09:06 AM
Who need to spread the lie of Bitcoin anonymity?

You Can Be De-anonymized Using Bitcoin
Bitcoins Are Traceable On The Blockchain
Your Name Might Be Linked to Your Bitcoin Address
Your IP Address Might Be Linked to Your Bitcoin Address
Revealing Your Bitcoin Address Before It Goes Into the Blockchain Could Let Others Track You
Possessing a Wallet File Might Be Enough Proof That You Control Bitcoins

1. It's not that easy I assume and not everyone could do it .
2. We all know that , so what ?
3. well , It won't unless you are stupid enough to share your IRL information's + your BTC address on the web and if you think it's that easy , feel free to try get my real name .
4. Same as 1 .
5. Same as 1.
6. Going to the bank also proof that you have money (most of the time) , so what ?
