21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ethereum 2018? on: September 14, 2018, 04:02:00 AM
For me, I'd definitely invest some on ETH while the price is low. Don't worry too much of the idea that it will be gone cause it won't happen so easily, given the fact that ETH isn't just another shitcoin. Buy and hodl and wait for the value to rise, then gain your profits.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin safer than banking? on: September 14, 2018, 01:59:46 AM
The safety of your ownings depends on your carefulness in handling it. You should always review contracts in every detail of it before accepting.

Either way, going bitcoin or banking, safety relies on your own responsibility and on the actions you're making involving your money. The only difference is that banks also have the responsibility when something goes wrong that is not your fault. You'll get assurance that you'll still have your money, while in bitcoin, the blockchain protects your money and cannot be hacked. However, online attacks are there and once you fall for these tricks, you're savings will be gone, but that's your fault and no one is responsible to back you up for the loss.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks to start trading crypto sooner on: September 13, 2018, 11:03:46 AM
Bitcoin starts to gain popularity and support and if this will continue, no doubt the market will rise again, not only for bitcoin but as well as the altcoins. I'm quite surprised that some banks now accept and trade bitcoin but the majority still doesn't.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will become zero value? on: September 13, 2018, 03:52:18 AM
Even with these dropsin ETH, I still believe ETH will regain its value in the market. You can buy now some coins if you're confident enough and then hodl. Don't panic sell your coins as you might lose way more than you're losing right now.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: September 13, 2018, 12:39:30 AM
This is often commited by someone new to investing, in this case bitcoin. They're blinded by the light and always think that they will surely gain profit while setting aside the possibility of the company's crash or bitcoin's crash. One should always split up their total money and set amount for investing, another one for own security in case something goes wrong.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH falls !! on: September 12, 2018, 08:03:50 AM
ETH/USD price keeps falling down, now at $172.30. It's quite bothering me if the price will keep falling. ETH needs more support to survive the market, this is also a great time to buy some ETH and may eventually boost the market if people will still believe with its future.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: September 12, 2018, 12:18:56 AM
Popularity and demand is what makes an altcoin grow. Of course, to create the hype of your new altcoin, you must offer something new or innovative technology/feature that no other altcoins have in the moment. Also consider the stability and you can spread your altcoin by words of mouth from satisfied investors. Best of luck.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in altcoins today or maybe later? on: September 11, 2018, 02:14:10 PM
Just be careful on investing, look for altcoins that you feel will have the potential for growth. And when you made up your mind, now is a great time to invest since the price drops and maybe you can earn profit from hodl. The last quarter of 2018 is coming and I think that the market will eventually rise again.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: September 10, 2018, 06:43:24 AM
Participating in bounties like signature campaign can give you some tokens to be exchanged to bitcoins. You're not really investing cash but you're investing time and effort. Just be aware that some bounties or campaigns are scams, so research the background first of the campaign and the manager.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Why lot of countries do not allow to use Crpto? on: September 10, 2018, 03:38:15 AM
It's because the idea behind bitcoin is being a decentralized system, while the state wants a centralized system where they can place taxes on transactions. I'm not against paying taxes because it helps the people become united under laws. If the whole system is decentralized, it's hard for people to control themselves and their behavior, leading to maybe chaos.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins better than bicoins right now? on: September 10, 2018, 02:44:58 AM
Altcoins aren't that risky today to invest but for me, bitcoin is still better than altcoins. If you seek to invest for long term, bitcoin is the way to go. But altcoins can also be a choice if you seek short term profits. Just be careful to some altcoins and always do background checks before investing, they might crash.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency is a trending topic all over the world? on: September 10, 2018, 01:08:36 AM
I agree, but I personally think that cryptocurrency will always make its way in this era as the blockchain technology is an invention that will eventually change the way we do online transactions.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam coins everywhere. on: September 08, 2018, 11:38:46 AM
We can't really stop this scammers creating fake ICOs, collecting all the invested money and leaving all the investors and those doing bounties. If you were to invest money or time and effort, do a background check first of the ICO. Read the white paper, engage in their telegram, and see whether the ICO has the potential to be successful. In the end, it's you're choice and must always double-think before deciding.
34  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you vape? on: September 07, 2018, 11:42:08 AM
I don't smoke nor vape. I respect those people who vapes because they want to quit smoking but those other people who vapes just to look "cool" irritates me.
I totally agree with this perspective. If you're vaping to get rid or eliminate cigarette in your life, then it's good because the nicotine content of vape is much lower, if not has nothing, unlike tobacco. But vaping just for the sake of making yourself look cool and 'in', doesn't really make you cool but instead someone senseless.

Personally, I haven't tried vaping or smoking and I got no plans to try it.  Smiley
35  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: September 07, 2018, 09:47:54 AM
Any advice?
Please don't say it's all about confidence and all that bs because I don't believe it.
Just focus more on what you really wanna do in your life. Don't try to keep on chasing girls, just be yourself. Engage in groups and your society. Eventually when time pass by, you'll meet the one who'll find you as an interesting guy. Just be aware as some girls only wants the wealth but not the relationship.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or ETH in 2018 on: September 07, 2018, 12:01:39 AM
Ethereum is quite interesting because of its faster transactions and supporting smart contracts that most ICOs use, unlike Bitcoin which has a sole purpose of replacing money into digital ones. Bitcoin still rules for me this year, however, Ethereum is catching up and I think will be competitor to what Bitcoin has started.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: September 06, 2018, 12:31:00 PM
I don't think so. Yes, smartphones are designed to be as portable 'computers', but the processing power is just insufficient to gain any profit from mining. It is well designed to perform simple tasks such as capturing images, sending SMS and all that stuff but focusing on the processing power will render your phone useless and won't be able to do what you're 'supposed to do' with a smartphone. The battery will also likely to exceed its limit temperature and the total casing of the phone is another limitation as there is not enough space and peripherals to dissipate the heat generated, reulting in maybe an explosion of the battery.
38  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you find your current life too boring? on: September 06, 2018, 05:07:48 AM
Same as me, I got no involvement in any sports, I'm skinny and I'm always at home because I can't afford going outside all the time. Too boring for me, and I also don't know what will happen in my career in the future. I'm quite pessimist in life and an introvert also, but things involving astrology, physics, theories and scientific and technological advancements excites me.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: September 06, 2018, 12:03:15 AM
Bitcoin is more tested and much more stable than other altcoins. Some altcoins are gaining popularity but there's always a possibility or risk in altcoins to drop and never recover again, wasting the money you invested. Although bitcoin's price is quite expensive, it's much more reliable and got high chances to recover even if it's price drops.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: September 05, 2018, 02:30:33 PM
Ofcourse there's always a possibility of hacking. For the users of these wallets, it is always advisable to double check the link of the site where you are and make sure it matches the original one. Phishing attacks are conducted by mimicking the visual layout of the site to fool the user into entering private keys.

As for the website, if the coding are done poorly and there are exploits and weak spots in the code, hackers can always find a way entering the systems and using it for themselves. A code that is well-maintained and a system that is always monitored can prevent these attacks to cause any damage.
