21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin right now [Nov 14, 2018] on: November 15, 2018, 09:08:39 PM
The BCH fork caused the dump. Investors and speculations are what moves this market. I just hope regulation comes in fast. These fast pumps and dumps are making potential investors scared I must say.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency market on: October 28, 2018, 02:39:30 PM
Read and more research to always learn new things. Then as a trader I trade both the ups and downs. And not just holding. It helps increase my portfolio little by little.
23  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices are currently fluctuating very low! This is a strange thing. on: October 28, 2018, 02:29:27 PM
Market forces decide the rise and fall of Cryptos. So if it's low means the demand right now is low. But with the Conventional currency about having a meltdown. Blockchain should be a safe haven for Investors. Be ready for the boom. Thanks
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: is destined to be $2500 by October to December 2018! on: October 28, 2018, 02:27:29 PM
This is October. I hope this prediction comes soon enough. Which I think it should.
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: People are Calm!! on: October 28, 2018, 02:03:04 PM
We should use this time to take positions and get tokens that are on the cheap. At a time where equities are being threatened, Crytpocurrencies might just be the safe haven.
26  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help choose a name for this library... on: October 13, 2018, 11:43:16 AM
Wow. This project is cool and should Garner interest soon enough.

What about CryptoLib? BlockoLib (this sounds somehow I know), LibraDapps... I'm not good with names. Good luck with your project.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collect bounty coin on: October 13, 2018, 11:34:17 AM
It's worth it to collect a coin at this time with a bounty. Because in a few years from now, market volume is rising. In a few years, it will be very important.

Well since it's free, you've got nothing to lose. Although some will be shitcoins, keep an eye on the ones with prospects and hold those.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked by a poor hacker on: October 08, 2018, 06:18:45 PM
Just want to share my experience for a week ago.my wallet was hacked  by a poor hacker  in my opinion because in my wallet not more than $200 and the hacker was hacked only $80 when eth for the gas  transaction was run out.very so sad when we waiting for the best price and i will sell it but it was hacked

Sorry about the hack, but you should be more careful with your PKs in the future. Also make sure the websites you go to are real to avoid Phishing...

And about them being poor, they'll take whatever is in any wallet. Whether they're rich or not.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: October 03, 2018, 03:02:46 PM
I don't know how you'll manage to complete all the tasks they require. For me it's better to join one or two and put all my energy in them instead of joining 50 that I might actually not complete. But if you can without breaking down, then good luck to you.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: October 03, 2018, 02:56:38 PM
This is really annoying and these people keep making people scared of Cryptocurrencies. People now see it as a scam because of all these.. so sorry for your loss mate.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attitudes towards Becoming a Successful Bounty Hunter on: October 01, 2018, 09:30:12 PM
I like the way you have posted this in a simple and point wise format, personally my experience with bounties is that i join a lot of them in excitement and after couple of months get bored and become inactve and then after few weeks become active again, i cannot seem to control this personal attitude which is resulting in waste of my time and effort.

I think you should go for bounties with a short duration. That'll keep you interested.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Question to all Bounty Hunters. on: October 01, 2018, 09:27:46 PM
On average how much money (USD equivalent) do you earn per month by completing bounties?

Discouraging generally because most times it falls below ICO price.. I mostly just keep the tokens for the bull run cos sometimes the value is way way down that you'd be thinking is this what I spent so much effort on.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Market Uptrend back is ? on: October 01, 2018, 09:16:36 PM
After a increase value continuous last year, Bitcoin peaked at $20k and Eth over $1k. The market was expected so much, but throughout almost the beginning of thisyear, the market continuity  plummet, now Eth is just over $ 200, so will the market ever return, whether that this is the mark the effect of the collapse (I'm a very confident person in the market), this is just a small discussion, please do not be too important.

No one knows the future and can see if it'll be back or not. What I can advice is if you're really in love with the Blockchain and believe in it, then stick with it. No need asking Everytime if it'll be back. Just invest what you're comfortable losing and generally have fun.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing decision on: October 01, 2018, 09:10:24 PM
Is current time good for buy more coin?
Normally, I will buy more when the price of coin is dropped. But with this situation of the market, I doubt the effectiveness of buying decision. Please give me an advise!

Do you trade? If not I'd advice for you to research on it and start after you've learnt it well. If you're I'm for the long hold, there are many ICOs you can get and relax for like 2 years... But if it's to make a profit for now, trading is the way to go.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attitudes towards Becoming a Successful Bounty Hunter on: October 01, 2018, 09:02:57 PM
I stand to be corrected, the larger part of those who are joining the forum now are coming with the aim of joining the league of bounty hunters, even though they would later invest and those who come with the aim of investing, might later begin to consider becoming bounty hunters.
To be a successful bounty hunter requires a lot of tasks, which can be made easier by the knowledge you have been able to acquire.

The following are some of the attitudes needed to imbibe in order to become successful bounty hunters:
1. Start bounty hunt for leisure
There are some people who come with the notion of taking bounty as a permanent job, which is not. Which is why, when their expectations are cut short, they become discouraged and might not be able to forge ahead. Therefore, start as if it's just for leisure until you are well established in it.

2. Come in with the spirit of "I can do".
There are some who sometimes feel they have nothing to contribute. They may feel they are way behind and might not be able to meet up to expectation, because they are just coming in. This is not a time to look down on yourself, because by the mere fact that providence has enabled you know about this opportunity, it means you have the ability to do things right.

3. Take your time to study.
Study to show yourself approved, a workman that needs not to be ashamed... Whatever you know today, no one can take it away from you. You can, with your first few set of posts on the forum ask questions on Beginners and Help section, that would help you to grow fast and know those things you are finding challenging. There are also some questions you are free to ask here, most especially as related to altcoins. You should as well read post from others.

4. Start making good and constructive posts as a newbie
Do not wait until you have a member account before you will start making constructive and meaningful posts. You can start from the scratch. Try to devote at least an hour in a day for that purpose and before you know it, you will see yourself rising to the top.

5. Create a time for recess or rest
One who is mentally and physically alert, will be able to deliver something meaningful and the rate of making mistakes will be minimized.

6. Patience
This attitude is very much needed at this time. I discovered that most projects despite their genuineness, are either postponing listing or distribution of tokens of to bounty hunters, because of the present state of the market. Which is one of the reasons why patience is essential.

7. Keep yourself updated
Previous knowledge sometimes can be archaic and might not be that useful again. So, search for new info, most especially new ways of doing things, in order to remain relevant.

Success is the measure of how much impact you are able to make...

These are good tips. I want to add some too.

1 - Be Organized - Make a list of the Bounties you're currently in so you don't lose track. What I do is Bookmark the pages on chrome browser. So no matter where I am, I can access them.

2. Follow the bounties on telegram too for swift information like when they're listing. When it's ending so many other improptu news. I use Multigram for my Telegram chats. I can easily Favorite the important groups and get to them easily.

3. Have a separate email for bounties and also wallet apart from your main wallet.. in case it gets compromised, especially with your email most times at the full glare of everyone.

Hope this helps.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: October 01, 2018, 08:54:16 PM
You are realy lucky! Now airdrops bring little profit. There are  so many coins , but their price is so low that the commission for the transaction is greater. Many projects are scammer . I only had two airdrops of about $20-$30 .

I also do not understand how they guy managed to get so much money from one Airdrop. As for me, it is simply impossible. OK, if it's true, I think he invested it in Bitcoin, and later, got a profit.

I think what he's saying is true. During the bull run Airdrop were worth a fortune. And people weren't into it as such. So the pool got to less people which made it more valuable.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I earned $ 3500 from the 1 airdrop on: September 27, 2018, 04:01:13 PM
I participated in the first airdrop IOP (internet of people) and with 500 token iop I received 2200 hydra .. that I sold in the exchange on the discord and from which I got 450 IOP .... with a gain of over 90% doing nothing. Tonight, the second airdrop closes the second airdrop and tomorrow another part

You are very very lucky, I follow a lot of airdrop but the coins that I get are worthless

I won't say worthless, but because of the state of the market, it might not seem like much. Also what I do about airdrops is I treat it like I'm actually trading. I check the worth in dollars, how feasible is the project, are they likely to sail through? If Yes, then i do it. otherwise, I sit it out. Time is precious and must be used judiciously. The time I was supposed to use to fill countless coins without a future, I just research on one and sit back.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to fight with yourself on: September 27, 2018, 03:52:24 PM
Hi, everyone! I hope that nothing bad will happen to you and your business as it happened to me. I know it was my mistake... I trusted an infamous coin but somehow thought that it was a good idea, which obviously was not. I do not even want to tell you details, I feel so foolish. It was such a stupid action, 8 trust my intuition and it has never let me down, never, until l this moment. Now I am trying to make a new start, I can not even tell that I lost a lot, I can handle it without any problems, but the feeling of being foolish is hard to forget. I can invest or buy because I am afraid of losing again, even if the deal is one hundred per cent good. I just can not start again, I doubt every my move and thought, it is so annoying. Have you ever felt something like this? How did you get out of this hole? Maybe you can recommend me something. I wish you good luck in all your beginnings! Have a good day!

This sounded like you lost a lot and I'm deeply sorry about that. I wouldn't want to start asking how it happened because honestly, it can happen to anyone. But I'm sure you'll use this experience as a lesson. We don't lose, we learn. Read more about Investments and strategies of the big players. You might be scared of investing further, but venture into it again with as little as you can afford to lose. Then grow from that. I'm sure you'll recover soon. Sorry dear.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your post history is responsible for your unmerited status. on: September 27, 2018, 03:40:32 PM
I was made a post about demoted member's. To be honest your post history is responsible for your unmerited status. After implement 1 merit to become Jr member, lot of people's trying to make constructive and quality post. Then also they are not getting merit. Only reasone is their post history. I am proof of that. I noticed few post deserve merit, but once I visit their post history there are only bounty report and online post. So it's discourage me for send merit to them. I don't know what is problem if you delete your spam post, and participate on constructive discussion. Most of seniors are visiting post history before send merit to demoted newbie and also I think it should be. You can't expect merit just creating single constructive or quality post if your post history is spammy.

Still I will strongly suggest, delete your post history those are spam. Then try to make or perticipate on constructive discussion. Perhaps some one will merited you.

I think deleting defeats the purpose of everything. rather they should strive from today to make constructive posts. They should be genuine about it too. I'm sure they will receive merit if they do 1 report post and say 20 constructive post and helping others asking legit questions. Those giving merits are humans too, they'll consider.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 27, 2018, 03:36:38 PM
The ratio of the price of Ether and bitcoin is not the best now. But it must be taken into account that at the moment there are already a lot of competitors of Ether, which greatly pushed this coin off the market. Proceeding from this, the price of Ether in bitcoins cannot rise very much.

Don't forget most ICOs are based on the Ethereum Blockchain, so it is actually still relevant for now. and for this price, the gains far outweigh the risks tbh.
