This deal is pretty bad for the seller. With your deal I will be down 2 cards, without being paid anything that would put you (the buyer) in the hook/guaranteeing a purchase. On your end you get a free card to mine and on top of that I have no way to verify that all your mining production is going towards paying for the cards.
I have a better deal which I've already done in the past. I was paid a downpayment of 75% of the value of the card and I kept the card. I mined with the card and kept everything it produced until the buyer paid the rest of the balance with his own mining efforts. We also set a hard price on dollars or the equivalent in bitcoins and a hard deadline to completely pay off the card approximated from his current hash rate. I protected myself against a drop in bitcoin value by accepting them with a 20% lower price than market value.
I have a spare pair of XFX HD5870 XXX Edition (overclocked to 950Mhz core and memory underclocked to 165Mhz doing ~460Mhash/s). If you are interested let me know.
P.S: I'm also going to need pictures of this "rack at work" with your username and the date handwritten on a piece of paper please. I will also need your heatware or any other references you may have vouching for your rep. Thanks.

He's just mad because he is trying to sell 6950's as well and your prices beat him.
Dear moron from the peanut gallery,
Thanks for the laugh.

What makes your kind of peddling worthy of preferential treatment over that of others?

Sold him a couple of Amazon gift card codes. He paid first, very good communication throughout. Will do business with him again should the opportunity arise.

Post count is largely meaningless to me, for all I know a person with a high post count could very well be a useless spammer from the peanut gallery. And there sure are many of those around here.
As far as babysitting other people in the face of potential scams, I say Caveat emptor to them.

Any time someone tries to sell a video card here, they've always just got out of Newbie status and have less than 100 posts. It all adds up to a scam.
Bullshit, I have less than 100 posts and have sold 2x Radeon 6950s (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=31508.msg396340#msg396340) and 4x Radeon 5850s(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34662.msg431800#msg431800 sold for cash locally after someone saw the add here). It is actually fucking annoying selling to you people because you waste a sellers' time with your window shopping attitude or stupid lowballing. That said, it should be a requirement to post pictures of items being sold here.
Also repeat after me: You are not your post count, you are not the number of bitcoins you've mined, you are not your hashrate. Some people do have lives that involve not pressing f5 and commenting on every thread on an internet forum.

Please post the customary pictures of the items along with a handwritten piece of paper with your username and date in front of them.
Thanks.

The thing that's odd is the timing. Bitcoins are now going up in value and difficulty just dropped. I would've expected all these new forks to have popped up much much earlier, like right after the first mtgox crash or the recent crash to the mid single digits.
