21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | Anonymous (pre-alpha) | CPU only | KGW | ASIC Resistant on: February 11, 2014, 09:08:16 PM
Can anyone tell me how I would go about depositing cash into C-CEX?  I have just a little bit (scraping $100 together) and want to buy a few more dark ;P  But I can't figure this out!  Please help me  Huh  Tongue  Cheesy

Buy btc somewhere and transfer it to C-Cex
but I'd wait for the price drop when gpu mining is implemented

I really hope GPU isn't implemented. CPU puts everyone on an even playing field, and all this time people have been CPU mining Darkcoin, their time won't be as compensated.

What're you guys currently mining on? I'm on a AMD FX 8-Core right now, but getting only around 180-200 KH/s.

Im using the same processor, getting around 350 khash, you might be using the older miner software.

Thanks for the reply. Hmm, I'm using the one posted on the first page of the thread. Could you link me to the one you're using if it is a newer release? Thanks!

Is it completely impossible to eliminate the possibility for GPU mining?

Yeah, GPU miners rape coins and dump them. Look at what is happening to UTC at the moment. I bought in with the hopes of a surge only to have miners dump the coin to hell.

Even with GPUs coming the gravity well will keep them from raping this coin.

Haha true. I just got a bit miffed remembering when Moby Dick breached the mining surface a few days back, forcing us to man the kimotot harpoons. That was quite a day.

Guess I'm going to have to buy a GPU, anybody know what the best card is for the money right now?  Can't afford an R9.

I'm new to Darkcoin, are these good levels to buy at? What do you guys see this coin heading to within the next couple months? Thanks.

Kind Regards

i recomend you guys dont change your hash to any onther coin, mine DGB and get its difficulty to 50+ im all in! seams like the difficulty improves the coin value
i saw diff 18 and the price went almost 200 satoshis now we're dropping slow in difficulty and the price went down also diff 12 and price is 135 satoshis ! a little up the difficulty but following the same padron! if we could hit 40-50+ in difficulty we could hit 300-400 satoshis but we need to keep it up in difficulty ... oh jeez save us!

would kimoto gravity well help with this?
27  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Looking for Developers/Programmers for Alt Coin on: February 05, 2014, 10:24:17 PM
Hi,

I have developed a solid plan for a new type of alt coin. I have the marketing, branding and business arrangements all setup. I am just in need of a developer with experience in cryptographic currencies to partner with. The initial tasks to get the coin off the ground are not difficult to implement. However, once the first version has been released the programming difficulty required for developing updated versions might increase.

Please PM if you are interested in working with me.

Regards,

all they did was give more buying opportunities.

They aren't released yet. But, this site has pre-orders for some that are in production.

It's all just a crap-shoot. No one can predict the future, the best you can do is diversify your money, and hopefully one investment will take off.

They should just hit reset and back the USD with precious metals.
