Minor Update We're working on our Halloween update adding a few new weapon skins, skill effects, decorating the city and getting some holiday quest/events ready for testing. Here's a preview of the first new weapon that will be available in Heroes and Apex in the coming days.  Are the devs still taking applications for a new logo? I met this cool designer in class today and we got to talking then crypto came up, then I mentioned jewels and I was showing it to him and he didn't care too much for the logo and said he could design a much better one that meshed well with the games.
He told me he would have it for me next week at class so I'll fill everyone in then. But if the devs are not still looking then let me know and I'll text him to not waste his time.
I'll have to check with our other dev but I believe we're planning to do a logo contest in the next week or so. I'll send them a message to get them in here with an exact date that's going live! That character looks amazing! Those little bats add a nice quirky touch! Big props to whoever designed created the characters, would love to see more! Hey Chris, can I request for more screenshots from Conquer Heroes to be posted up for the benefit of non-gamers? I would love to check it out myself but I don't own a PC  |

Hey all, am new to the thread. Last night I transferred some $DOPE (love this coin just on the basis of the name  ) from Bittrex to a newly downloaded wallet on my Mac, before realizing that the Mac Wallet does not sync. Tried checking on the transfer on the block explorer but it hasn't shown overnight. Question: Is the block explorer at https://www.blockexperts.com/dope working? Why hasn't my transfer showed up? I hope I have not lost my dope. All the best to the Dope team! Looking forward to great things You will see the coins in your wallet when the Sync is done. Voted and Thanks for posting! Happy to see that Conquer Heroes is #3 on Conquer Private Servers Top 100 and #16 on Xtreme Top 100. Checking out MMORPG made me realize & appreciate just how humongous this scene is! Fantastic to see how many different games there are and the number of variations. I can't wait to hear and find out more abt project Rebirth. I'd imagine a spanking new game built from scratch would be the equivalent to a completely new coin built from ground up e.g. Ethereum vs a clone of an existing coin e.g. 99% of all alt coins lol |

Jewels is unique in that it bridges together 2 very niche markets - Gaming and Crypto. Since we are mostly from the crypto scene here, it is helpful to take our eyes off charts & Twitter once in a while and actually check out the Gaming side of this project. I am not a gamer, poked around and was pretty impressed to find out that Conquer Heroes runs a Facebook page that currently has over 14k likes. People in crypto worry so much it's hilarious, they're down 2 bitcoin and they lose it. It's no wonder 95%+ of all traders fail, I can see why. So short sighted, so emotional, no vision, no discipline. On behalf of those on the other side, however, we gladly thank you for your donations.

I dont like your answer and Im pretty sure koinsmart agrees that you are still dropping the ball on the marketing game. I have been quietly reading the thread for the last few weeks while community members continue to give you advice and tips and you continue to ignore them as if you really do know what's best for the investors. Not the gamers, not pro4never but for the people who invested over 300 btc in you. That's a lot of money and if you mismanage it or screw this up it could be very bard for you being a Canadian and all. Im pretty sure selling unlicensed securities is a big nono. So my advice to you is to focus on making the investors happy because if you suddenly get a bunch of sour investors this can go from the gem it started as to the cloudy gem it is today to a big dog turd very quickly.
Your attitude downright sucks. Who are you to make such threats? That's not how the crypto community is supposed to treat one another. It's also funny, based on your comments, you seem to think you've invested in some publicly traded Fortune 500 company. He has no fiduciary duty to you, it doesn't work that way--if you bought tokens, you're along for the ride, that's it. "Selling unlicensed securities," another hilarious statement. I don't think you understand how all of this works. In the investment world, as the saying goes, 'those with the least to invest always have the most to say.'  They are not satisfied because they need some news OR empty promises ( or claim as empty promises) for speculation on the market. Other project that collected more than 1000 BTC just post updates that are just saying hey we finish programing this and that and some cool features coming soon ( apparently soon = x years) and everyone just follow and happy with that and this project which gives more solid updates get lots of complaints and threat  i dont understand most of this nonsense at all. I agree Chris should just ignore them - he is more than transparent and open with his goals, responds frequently, gets time for interviews, ... - for how many cryptocoins can you say that and with the number of fixes, upgrades he is pushing out almost daily? If you don't like it just sell (its trading at like what +30% profit and you complain? ) and get out of this thread. A little bird told me this morning that my name was invoked, so here I am Guys, I am all for marketing/branding, but I really think we need to back off. I am a father of 2 and much what I am hearing on this thread is classic whining and tantrums because some kids have to wait. Although I am a Jr Member, I have been around since 2014. From what I am seeing so far in Chris, Roy and the others, these guys have been competent and amazing devs that have exceeded my expectations, and I am not saying that just because they are Canadians  What they are doing and are planning to do is absolutely essential to the growth of this coin and I have decided to hodl. I also agree with what the other guys said to those who cannot wait to please sell your JWLs and leave this thread. Take this opportunity to learn patience guys. If you do not learn it well, you will not only lose money in cryptos, you will also lose in life. Turn off your computer and go play outside.  |

 It's clear many here are vested in this project to flip for quick profit. I have invested heavily too so i can understand where you guys are coming from. However while I do agree that much more can be done in terms of branding & marketing etc., we also have to question if that will really add any real value to the coin or is this simply an expectation for all "high profile" cryptos. I'm sure we all know many cryptos who have done very well in this department and yet failed miserably. I do appreciate that the devs are hardcore gamers who are relatively new to the crypto scene. I believe these guys bring something solid and substantial to a world of shallow get-rich-quick pump & dumps shitcoins, so please give them a break. We have all done our due diligence and that's why we've invested in this anyway. Don't jump ship now just because you lack patience. Chris has already mentioned they will get to more branding & marketing activities catered more specifically to the crypto-world once the gambling games are ready. PATIENCE guys, good things take time to build. |

Tbh I don't think you should pay bittrex just to get listed. They should list jewels eventually. I rather you save that 3BTC on your developers and marketing I wouldn't say bittrex needs JWLs more than we need them.. but hope u get my point. You have an amazing product, leader, and team, and bittrex should realize that soon enough and add JWL on its on accord. Obviously if given the option of spending money or not spending money and getting the same results we would choose to not spend money but we were aware from the start that there is often a listing fee associated with bittrex, it's not something that would turn us away from being listed there and I wanted to make that clear as there seems to be some misinformation regarding the status of our application (we've done our part, simple as that). Bringing up advertisement leads me to a handy little segue though. Current Status of Advertisements/RoadmapFacebookIn regards to heroes, facebook is always our #1 advertisement tool as it allows us to easily target those who are already fans of our previous projects or those who have played conquer online/similar games in the past. During the weekend we had a number of advertisement campaigns running with significant success. According to our webstats we had around 3,000 unique viewers on our website throughout the weekend and a large percentage of those came from our facebook advertisements. As we've seen in the past, it's unlikely to expect these players to necessarily join right away (if ever) but it does help a lot having the name of the server already out there so people are aware of it before they encounter it from other sources. That first step has gone quite well and we've seen quite a few players joining the game as a result. NewsletterDuring the launch we sent out a (fairly basic) newsletter documenting the launch of the server. This was sent to approximately 10,000 unique email addresses based on past mailing list data from apex, the beta of the heroes server and the jewels project. The intention behind this is quite obvious but it gives us a good rush of initial players who are passionate about our projects who are now aware of the project and will join in the coming weeks. Overall this campaign went quite well. I've always been personally a bit disappointed with the percentage of people who follow links from these emails but in comparison to past emails this one was quite effective and according to our stats had a solid conversion rate. It also allows us to update our contact list by filtering out those who unsubscribed from this most recent message and accounts which are marked as invalid. Obviously heroes has forced email validation which will improve the reliability of future newsletters. ReferralsReferrals are going to be a huge part of growing the heroes project because when a project like this launches there really isn't that many people in game and it can be quite daunting for new players. The best strategy is to join with a group of friends. The referral system is designed so you can bring your friends with you, let them know about the project and help both you and them get some rewards in the same process. Referral links can be found by logging into your account dashboard on our website. When someone who signed up with your referral link reaches level 70 both you and them will receive 3 days of vip service, a random garment (7 day duration) and 1 hour of double experience. This is something we've not done with our past projects but the player feedback has been quite positive. We're excited to see how it goes in the coming week(s). News/Gaming MediaI've submitted some information on the project to a couple of mmo news style sites. I obviously can't say if we'll see anything come from that but it's still totally worth doing for the hour or so it may take to compose the various emails. I'll of course be sending out some more similar messages in the coming days. Upcoming campaignsI really dislike top100 style sites as they tend to be unreliable and filled with fake votes but there are undeniably some players who use them to find projects. I've signed us up for a number of them and will be introducing in-game vote options in upcoming patches. If nothing else it provides good SEO for search results. Thank you for these updates Chris! Im starting to notice some odd shit going on here. 1st the thread was bumping all kinds every day with over 50 different forum members from my count, devs were here making updates, and tweeting 3-4 times a day, now the tweeting has almost stopped, the thread is not being bumped and it looks like a whole bunch of people who used to support jewels do not any more. The title of the thread has not been updated once since the ico was over but it was updated 100 times during the sale. That And what about marketing for Heros. If its supposed to launch this week dont you think you should be promoting it to the bitcoin talk community? (HYPE TAKES TIME TO BUILD YOU KNOW) And dont give me some bullshit like the people on this forum are not your target demographic because its the people on this forum who have funded this project and will have the loudest voice of them all when it comes to sharing their passion for this project, jewels and the pro 4 never games.
Id like to see some serious marketing getting started, press releases, articles, signature campains ect. You have the money so spend it, unless ofc you dont care about us investors, the ones who made this all possible.

Happy to address some of your concerns. Dev UpdatesWe're incredibly busy right now finalizing the new heroes website, getting the game ready, dealing with the contractors we've hired to work on graphics assets for the gambling games. Admittedly that's taken some of our time away from this thread. I would expect to see more being posted here following the launch once we're ready for people to start joining. Hype-o-meterWe don't particularly want a large rush of players right as the clock strikes midnight in heroes. While we've done plenty of internal stress testing, brought in various members of our community to gather their feedback and test new systems, we cannot guarantee that there will be no complications. We fully expect the launch will take time to build steam in terms of player base. In terms of advertisements, we have our newsletter, facebook and youtube ad campaigns all ready to be started directly targeting both former players of apex, players of other similar projects and those who have played the official version of conquer online. Those will be started once the new website is online, in advance of the official launch of heroes. Investors vs gamers/split of advertisementsHeroes was developed completely separate from the ICO. No funds from investors have been used towards heroes or its development. This was made clear throughout the entirety of this thread. The funds are being used to develop the following. -Jewels backend: web wallet, account management, paypal>jewels portal, transaction management, gambling api, etc) -Jewels gambling front end: Two phases of gambling games playable with jewels made available to existing players of apex/triumph as well as on their own dedicated gambling website and mobile apps. -Full jewels integration for heroes followed by apex: Jewels will be the premium currency inside the game used to purchase cosmetics and character boosts, to unlock additional content, etc. -Project rebirth playable prototype (saved for after all initial jewels integration and gambling games are live) The jewels web portal is online and gaining in functionality every day (that's were the vast majority of our efforts since the ICO ending have been placed) The gambling front end is in development. It's taking a bit longer than planned but we have a number of contractors working on visual art assets for it and we have finalized the phase 1 design document and started on programming the individual mini games. There will be more to post publicly on that as the contractors complete their tasks so there is more visually available for us to post (right now it's all console apps and statistics sheets) The jewels integration into heroes will be finalized and the new website launched in advance of the server being launched. That is our primary concern right now and what we are focusing our efforts on at the moment. Thanks for the update Chris! While I disagree with your tone of voice, I can empathize with the point you are trying to make. I have been DMing the devs suggesting different options with regards to increasing efforts at marketing Jewels Coin. It IS very important and I def think there is a whole lot of room for improvement.
