Yes! Many of them still worth, and many of them have a good intention. But sometimes they fails to enter the market because they didn't reach the soft cap of their ico/offering. The cause of failing to reach the soft cap is the bad market. People nowadays doubt to invest in ico because once they enter the market the price of it is below ico price.

For me, I think the best 3 altcoins to invest or to buy now are ethereum, cardano, and ins ecosystem.
I also suggest this 3 altcoins to you to make a big profit and huge return. Buy now before it's to late and hold for long run.

In my own opinion, I think the same scenario will happen like December 2017 after two years. The market will recover from a dump, and after two years investors and many people will know better about bitcoin or crypto currency.

Ethereum has the top 2 on crypto market. So dont be panic, ethereum won't die and this is not the end. Ethereum will recover before or after Christmas I think.  On my own think ethereum will hit $500 before or after christmas. Just buy more while the price is very low. |

For me not at all, maybe I should say 90% of ico's now are failing to reach or to continue their project because of not reaching the soft cap.

I will hold my coins until my daughter gets in high school  she's 4 years old right now. So 10 years from now I will drop all my coins no matter what the price is. |

For me yes. It's more interesting because of the price of it. If you compared the price of ethereum months ago, ethereum reach on its high peak which is very interesting for now. Maybe and i hope that this year ethereum back on $1000. I hope

I really like your mindset mate. I'm also one of those hoping that bull run is on way before 2018 ends. That's why I'm not selling my altcoins. Patience is the key for success so don't be greed and don't panic. Everything is back to normal and everyone who believes in bull run this year will definitely rich before 2019 starts. |

The best way is, do your own research. Try to pick some important information about the project, the team, white paper, road map, etc. Many of them copying and pasting of other white paper and the identity of the owner/ceo. This is the best way to detect if the project is scam.

If you prefer ico's and coins, I think its very hard to predict when or what coins that have a good and give you x2 with your investment because of the bad market. That is a huge investment!  Anyway, I tried to trade on bitkop and pick a coin named (ALC) aligatocoin my capital is 1 eth then all day trade after 2 days may 1 eth reach 4 eth because of that coin. And I think I'm blessed because of that. |

Eventually, it depends upon the situation of the market. If there's a profit when you doing a trade, just go for it. Likewise in holding.
But for me, I prefer for holding than to trade.

For me, my prediction for altcoins will be stable is December 2018, and go down again by January to February. And March 2018 will boost up more and going stable. This is only my prediction. And this is what I feel. |

Don't lose hope mate, hold until your capital back. If you sell that ethereum you lose 80% of your capital or investment.

I think it's better to go in ripple and buy and hold, you know why?
Ripple is had a cheaper price than litecoin. You can actually buy and sack more of this because of its price.nowadays investing on alts that had a cheap price is more promising than to alts had a very expensive one.

I totally agree with INS, this is probably the most undervalued tokrn for me nowadays probably traders didn't yet see the potential as it doesnt have working project yet. However if we will talk about 2019 for sure this token will soar once they have their own blockchain and mainnet is launched. -snip- ~ As i remember, december or Q4 when they list to exchange. And that time you can't trade ins. Except all investor who have ins on their dashboard. January 2018 they distributed the bounty reward for bounty hunter and i think that is the reason why ins dumped. I joined their bounty and got some tokens and it is good, I didn't sell them until now because I believe in their project. Bounty tokens were distributed in early February and I think it didn't affected the price that much as it didn't went down until the market started to fall off and those tokens were just small percentage. You didn't sell because the price is very cheap. If you have 1000 ins that time. It will cost around $3k-$6k. Huge money for me. Lol But now for 1000 ins = $400-$500 lose a x10 gain. So better to hold and still hoping that everything is going back to normal. Maybe |

There are many community projects without team members that have succeeded. Think about BTC with its 100% anonymous creator. Other than that, I'm skeptical of projects whose team members are anonymous
I think you didn't get the point of OP, the title of this thread is 'project without team members. ? Or i don't? I haven't seen yet like this project that no ones operate. You call that a project without team anyway? How can you define a project without team? |

Based on the title of this thread, "why many projects are dead"? I'm my opinion, yes you're right nowadays project becomes dead and i think because of the market situation, and that cause investors doubt to invest their money.
