A good long term project will definately be one that develops new quality tech and not just a nice idea on a whitepaper with some token/mainnet and some "partners" as basically most just do There are some real quality projects. One that comes to my mind is Stakenet XSN for example. They are one of two coins that can handle trustless cold staking. Moreover ledger and xeeda support is confirmed. So one can hold his coins safely on a ledger and earn staking rewards at the same time. Next to that there is a tech called CCPOS coming from XSN. It will enable you to stake XSN and earn a reward in any currency you want. For example safely holding and staking XSN on a ledger could earn you more Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is king, this is definately something to consider for long term holding Besides that there is more awesome stuff coming like: - the first true dex being hosted on a network of 1700+ masternodes, enabled by lightening atomic swaps. Those swaps work already and there is a testnet contest to swapping in the xsn discord - their hardware devision is working on their own hardware device that will be able to do much more than holding your coins. Check the EPOS article on medium by john draper for that - the staking plattform www.stakenet.io is working already for XSN, PIVX and STRAT. DCR and QTUM to follow next

i think only coins with real functioning usecases will survive. there does not need to be THE usecase for the whole world, but i think if a coin/blockchain network offers a solution to problems of businesses, they will very well have a future the only two i truely believe in are Bitcoin BTC and Stakenet XSN. BTC because it is king, there is a crazy amount of development going into it and new layers like lightening will slowely but surely reach the masses XSN because of their ecosystem inter-connecting blockchains. this article is explaining it better than i could and gives you an impression: https://www.crypto-economy.net/en/stakenet-and-its-investment-tools/im amazed by CCPOS. it will kind of enable you to stake any lightening coin there is. Imagine you have 2 BTC and now you think you would like to stake them but BTC is POW and so on, so it wont work. If you hold those 2 BTC in XSN you will be able to trustlessly cold stake those XSN from your ledger/xeeda hardware wallet and through CCPOS receive staking rewards in BTC. it will open up truely new usecases

Im astonished by the amount of posts here basically saying something like "buy *coin/token name* because year urr its good and in future you will make money"
invest in projects with decent plans of developing technology that hasnt been there yet
i dont say the project i am going to mention is the best to go, but it is a solid project constantly developing tech we havent seen yet.
im talking about Stakenet XSN. they brought us trustless cold staking, which for now only one other coin can handle. they are the first to implement atomic swaps on the lightening standard as a basis, so every lightening supporting coin will be able to be supported by the stakenet ecosystem. they are the first to develop a TRUELY decentralized dex, that has no central operator and is "dex" not just using as buzzword. Their dex will be hosted on their network of 1700+ masternodes. No one will be able to take it down, if governments decide to not like dexs. they even have their own hardware devision working on their own hardware device. Plans on EPOS (read the medium article by john draper) will enable POS through movements. Imagine wearing some wearable like a fitbit tracking your jogging route and so on. the data collected by the device for you to share will earn you cryptocurrency, that you will be able to instantly swap into any other lightening coin and you can receive your stakes also in any currrency you want, due to ccpos

this baby really gained momentum with the announcement of the lightening based atomic swaps in the testnet . im excited about the upcoming multicurrency and mobile wallet

Stakenet (XSN) is great for passive income. Can either Stake or run a MN. If you stake you can do so normally in the wallet, use TPoS or use their multi-currency cloud staking. TPoS is their offline staking solution and works great. They have confirmed integration for Ledger and Xeeda so will be able to Cold Stake from those devices too soon. MN's will receives additional income from services running on their MN Network like the DEX and incoming privacy features. They are also rolling out CCPoS (Cross Chain PoS) so you will be able to stake one thing but receive your rewards in something else like BTC or whatever you want. Their Cloud staking is aimed at people who aren't so tech savy and just want to dump their coins somewhere and receive rewards. The cloud wallet also stakes PIVX and Strat currently with Decred and others on the way. They will also be adding MNaaS very soon which allows you to trustlessly have them run, update and maintain your MN for you while you keep control of your coins. The kicker is though it's Mcap is only around $10M so not only are you getting a nice steady ROI from rewards you could also get a x10 if it takes off and with all the stuff they have coming I don't think it's a matter of if but more like when. They already were the worlds first to bring TPoS to crypto, one of the first PoS/MN projects to implement Segwit, Lightning Channels and Atomic Swaps, CCPoS is another of their inventions so they are well accomplished already. Check out this article they just put out about their Lightning Swaps: https://medium.com/stakenet/lightning-network-and-atomic-swaps-f24eb4996eb9Instant payments: Lightning-fast instant payments across the entire blockchain without any limitations caused by the block confirmation times. Due to smart contracts, the security of the transactions is ensured without the need of an on-blockchain transactions, so that a payment speed of milliseconds to seconds can be achieved. Scalability: Allows the processing of millions to billions of transactions per second across the network. This capability outperforms all previous legacy payment rails and attaches a payment per action/click is now possible without custodians or third-party services. Low cost: Using an off-blockchain transaction setting profits in exceptionally low fees in the Lightning Network. This enables completely new use cases such as instant micropayments. Cross blockchains: Cross blockchain transactions will be possible if both chains are connected due a compatible second layer protocol or are supporting the same cryptographic hash function on their own. Given that, it is possible to execute trustless transactions between different blockchains. I don't think there are many more projects that have a better future outlook than XSN I totally agree with this I made great experiences with XSN running a masternode and staking the rewards on www.stakenet.io

When can we expect QTUM and DCR to be added on your staking plattform www.stakenet.io ? My XSN, STRAT and PIVX need good company haha And when will there be the next voting on which coins to add afterwards? Im curious which will be part of the vote

in case there will be a bull market there is a project i expect to do a lot better than x10 in the foreseable future. it is stakenet (XSN). there are simple reasons for that: - first to develop cold staking and only one of two coins who support it at all - ledger and xeeda confirmed and being worked on (enables cold staking from your ledger e.g.) - staking platform www.stakenet.io for staking decent POS coins (e.g. xsn, strat, pivx, qtum, dcr, last two coming up probably this month) - stakenet.io offers pooled staking - masternode as a service - own devision working on their own hardware device that will feature mindblowing tech like EPOS - segwit - lightening - atomic swaps - a truely decentralized DEX enabled via lightening atomic swaps, hosted on their own global 1700+ masternode network

The only coin I still hold besides bitcoin which is king, is XSN Their tech developements are crazy and impressive. It is a potential x100 coin for the next bull run. Checkout yourself on stakenet.io . To name just a few, they developed cold staking, ledger and xeeda confirmed, lightening atomic swaps powering a DEX hosted on 1700+ masternodes and more

I'd buy those who develop the future of blockchain. New technology that hasnt been around like cold staking from ledger, lightening atomic swaps or cross chain pos. Those will bet set well for the next bullrun. XSN is a candidate like that coming to mind. Besides it is at a bottom chartwise

Im buying XSN. It's a potentially x100 candidate for the next bullrun and chartwise at a bottom right now. It is featuring: Pooled staking on www.stakenet.io, masternode as a service, cold staking, a truely decentralized DEX hosted on 1700+ masternodes, confirmed ledger and xeeda support (means staking from ledger), cross chain pos, one click lightening atomic swaps, own hardware devices and more stuff i probably forgot. Anyway best setup to be prepared for the next bull

I read about your lightening atomic swaps. How can i imagine that in the upcoming light wallet? Will it be like a drop down field i can pick any lightening coin from to instantly get it swaped in one click?

Im buying BTC and XSN Btc because it is king and will be. It is most known, constantl being developed and improved and starting to get higher layer levels like lightening, which greatly benefit adoption XSN because of their crazy developement speed and plans. They brought cold staking (ledger/xeeda both confirmed and being tested right now). New stuff like cold exchanging, epos which will be a kind of pos consensus that is powered through exercise. Imagine a fitbit devixe on your wraist that earns you cryprocurrency via staking through your movements. Or a truely decentralized dex hosted on more than 1700 MNs. On their online platform www.stakenet.io one can use pooled staking for xsn, pivx, strat and soon qtum and dcr or one can use masternode as a service. All in all good basics for the next bullrun

The only coin i still hold besides BTC is XSN and i stake it on stakenet.io (pooled staking. site works for other pos coins too). I think it is massively undervalued and reached the bottom a couple of weeks ago. so i use it to gain stakes on a part of my savings in a way of diversification.
Besides that the dev team of XSN is creating quite some new tech like cross chain pos and a masternode network of 1700+ MNs that will host a truely decentralized dex. So i think it brings the right characteristics for an invest for the next bull run

From my point of view there are rhousands of coins that do nothing new. Change of logo and blocktime and thats basically it. Those will day and only coins developing new technology and with great usecases will survive the coming purge
I think keywords will be cross chain integration/compability, (real) dex and new ways of interacting with hardware devices in order to make use of blockchain and a coins ecosystem besides transfering value. Like epos. The medium article i found here about it blew my mind. The only coin coming to my mind fitting these criteria is XSN. Still undervalued and at 20% of its ath. I think it has great potential for the next bullrun

I'd chose BTC over ETH, since etherium is mostly used for questionable icos and lost a lot in value. from my standpoint its future is harder to predict than bitcoin which will most likely be there as long as there will be crypto. BTC is king, more stable in terms of price and getting new attention through lightening

im definately excited about 2020. really curious what the price developement will look like after the halving
and if it wont be a million i hope to see mc afee eating his own penis

tough question, but if I had to pick, I'd go with Stakenet (XSN) then. from my perspective it is highly undervalued, but what makes me believe a 100% in it is their X9 developers team and the amount of new technology they brought in the last month. For example trusted cold wallet staking via tpos or lightning functionality. well and what makes me believe they will be a great pick for the next bullrun is their plans for cross chain functionality, a decentralised exchange, that is actually decentralized due to being run on ~2k masternodes and their own hardware developements (they hired hardware engineers who are working on own devices that will be sold).
when i read the medium article from their head dev about their hardware/crypto plans on EPOS (https[Suspicious link removed]rtive-proof-of-stake-epos-4a999807f9e4) i felt like reading about a science fiction film
