would just like to mention that I disagree with this logo direction
I'm still thinking something simple like along the lines of an edge directed node (ripple logo) , or myriad coin's logo
something that appears simple and friendly, instead of a fringe movement
zerocoin's logo is decent too btw

lots of questions on this thread that go unanswered
The lack of information is currently a detriment to this coin, and the relevant information changes every few weeks
so I'll try to answer a few things, I am not affiliated with Anoncoin, just been having my team research it for the last few months:
The Zerocoin "bloat" problem has been solved. First of all, it isn't that large of an addition to block sizes, and second of all, they get deleted or pruned from the blockchain after X confirmations. This completely mitigates any problems that were imagined with zerocoin blockchain size.
Regarding I2P - not really sure. I know a lot more about TOR than I do I2P. I do not think you need your own I2P client running to use Anoncoin in I2P
As someone who is only interested in anonymous digital currency transactions, and not investing, I have to agree that it is hard to find critical/basic information about this coin. Ultimately, this lack of information will stop people from using it. Most of this info can be found in several online forums, but it would be best if this could be added to the official website. For example (and yes, I know the answers to most of these questions): -what is the time for generating new blocks? -how many blocks were pre-mined, and what happened to the corresponding anc? -why is the block reward schedule so odd? (4.2 to 7 to 5 ANC) -what exactly does I2P do for anonymity (most people naively think that transactions can't be tracked....) -Do you use scrypt? or SHA-256? In addition, I think that it would be great to show a graph of the expected number of coins as a function of time, as well as the expected block reward as a function of time. -what exactly does I2P do for anonymity (most people naively think that transactions can't be tracked....) you can look at what nodes are on the network. you can correlate time and frequency that you see certain IP addresses IP addresses can be masked, thats all

nice initiative on the logo, I think it can use more refinement and maybe dropping the headless business man completely
I've been thinking about a lot of UI/UX tweaks on this coin's interfaces and logo definitely leads that effort

Hello, some sites let you click through them before going to the actual store's website, enabling the consumer to get larger discounts and "points" with the initial site.
Although there can be different portals, many of those portals go to the same store website like to Macys.com for instance
I am looking for how practical it is to combine those kind of sites via cookies or network analysis or other, to get multiple rewards for single orders
PM me
So, you mean, say, cashback sites? If so, then it won't work. They all set cookies, but when it comes to the site, the rule is usually that the last set cookie wins. You won't be able to use multiple sites for the same purchase. okay, is this an absolute? Yes. It's an absolute due to how the retailer pays the discount site. what about modifying the cookie, I haven't looked at the contents of these cookies yet maybe session ids can be inserted into a cookie, or the server side software assumes too many things about cookies

I'm pretty sure most stores don't allow you to have more than 1 discount code. Nobody would allow you to get like a 95% off retail at their own shop..
the stores aren't granting it, the shopping portals have their own reward systems come back when you know what this thread is about

Any interested in capital formation for a fiat trading fund?
It would be options trading on portfolio margin, specifically selling options on indexes, butterfly spreads and condor spreads. so the returns can be greater and more volatile than simply holding bitcoins, and the fiat holdings would be hedged by buying/selling btc futures
It would be an asset of a group of established traders and researchers.

Hey guys, what position size do you use for martingales
so far I've only ever had a 6x losing streak before I have to switch to random walk, this is because my position size starts out at 1% of the gambling capital
do you guys bet with .5% or even smaller? this would let you get to 7 or 8 losing but it also requires more turns to make any decent winnings, increasing your personal odds of getting a longer losing streak if you haven't encountered it before (although I understand the losing streak can happen at any time since this is all luck)
|
|
|
Come on, we all know how gambling works
lol, I got a kick out of it too
|
|
|
oh damn its right there in the Terms and Conditions "PLEASE NOTE: MARTINGALE BETTING SYSTEM IS NOT ALLOWED ON OUR NO ZERO ROULETTE. ANY PLAYER USING IT WILL BE REFUNDED AND NO WINNINGS WILL BE PAID OUT." well there goes that free ride

bump
I am experiencing this too, multibit

Hello, I recall hearing about a non-zero roulette game. Basically one where there is no zero on the board. What site was that
also what was the max bet size?

Ok, heres me playing btc minefield, My apologies for the zooming, i cant control it? My video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dU4ikKcuh5gUse the referallink on this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEs7G3Vku-4(incase you may lose- ask the uploader, if you are his referal he will give you a full refund of your loss). But follow the instructions on my video. My video has no sound, but doesnt have an annoying voice + buzz. rubbish, after 3 turns you are guaranteed to have 3 cells that haven't been touched and you have to choose randomly between all three. One of which gets a bomb randomly. Also, if you keep doing turns, eventually TNT will have passed over all of the cells. I was keeping up with this in a spreadsheet. There is no glitch. ciao Its not a glitch, its a tip. Didnt you see me just make 3btc? want to see my transaction IDs? I saw you make it, I am telling everyone else that it is a ruse. After 3 turns there will *likely* be 3 cells that have not had TNT on them, turning your percentage to be right into 33% up from 3%. IE. you have a greater than 50% chance of losing. and if you cycle the board a 4th and 5th time, there will be no cells that have not had TNT on them. so this is still luck and you'd be better off at a different game

so in this thread, people debate the merits of the NDA instead of the altcoin prerequisite
in a similar nearly duplicate thread, people debate the utility of another altcoin (without knowing why I even ask for altcoin experience), and no mention of the NDA
lol, internet, continue.
|
|
|
I don't think either of us are against you, it's just that you need to be aware that you're not going to be able to enforce the NDA so you're wasting your time with it so you shouldn't put any faith into it being able to claw back any money in the slightest. I very much doubt that any of the programmers will give you 'real' information anyway.
Now, back to the altcoin... do you have a thread for this altcoin?
+1 Again, if you are going for an NDA, serious programmers just won't accept, so you are pretty much guaranteed to get a noob working for you. I've explained why, and I've explained this for free. If you chose not to read what I wrote, well, too bad for you, I'm sorry (sincerely). thank you for the insight, this is simply not true in the technology hubs of america maybe things are different in your international software side gigs, but I'm not really trying to emulate that, this forum so happens to be the only place where the talent pool with previous experience would exist
