Ok. I'm going to try something. I've never used this before.

TLDR;  Just institute martial law. Start executing shitposters without due process. They truly are insanely easy to identify. They approach it like a war or battle and so should you.

Damnit. I still have more to say. That's why I don't like the TLDR. Leave's too much open to ambiguity. Kinda like the merit system. Lol.

I just really think the merit system and the necessity for real people to prove their "realness"  is definitely deterring quality forum members from participating.  meanwhile, your forum is being invaded and overrun by an enemy that treats accomplishing their objective much more militantly than the forum does in deterring it. Why avoid attacking the real problem?  Because it also potentially allowing a vast number of "spies" to infect your forums, since having some merit probably gives people a shield of legitimacy and excuses them when maybe they shouldn't be.  I could write posts like this for one day, get a few merit points, and then be in like flint right? So am I excused if the quality of my posts suddenly turns to shit because I have a handful of merit points?  If merit becomes the accepted norm for legitimacy, then people will develop "merit blindness". Not to mention, if accounts with merit end up with value, it will just spawn a market around it. And then you have a whole new problem on your hands.

But if it is well known that the forum is enforced more militantly, where shitposters are executed without mercy or second thought, then People won't have a choice, and quality posts will simply become normal posts. Either post real content, or get merk'ed.

I think what I am trying to say is that the way this forum FEELS, makes it extremely unappealing for real, NEW members to become involved. It's almost as if you have to "prove" yourself because there is such a pandemic of fake shitposters. But the shitposters are allowed to continue being shitposters. Things seem to only be modified to make it HARDER for real people to become "worthy" of being considered valid (so to speak).

The common denominator is the same though. Greed. So if you are going to fight an enemy as difficult as greed, you have to be militant about it.

Sorry if that comes across rude, I'm not trying to be. I just see that you guys seem to really care about your forum, but it has a cancer. And rather than just grabbing a scalpel and cutting it out, it's like every holistic therapy is being tried first.

Just imagine the amount of quality that may show up if people knew that it wasn't going to be washed over by a sea of bullshit.

Just my 1 cent. (I had to pay the other one in gas to send this message Grin JK)

You aren't going to get a response from Satoshi, because he more than likely passed away from ALS years ago. The man who was most likely Satoshi (Hal Finney...RIP  Cry) once said this

“The danger is if people are buying bitcoins in the expectation that the price will go up, and the resulting increased demand is what is driving the price up. That is the definition of a BUBBLE, and as we all know, bubbles burst.”

Hal was not only a good soul but a brilliant man who could seemingly foresee the future. What he meant when he said this, was that bitcoin's price should be dependent on it's level of adoption and use within society, not on people wanting to make money off of it....

I think that bitcoin is a weird beast though. Because I look at it like this: People get into crypto because they want to make money, but they end up staying when they learn what crypto is really all about and what it could do for mankind. Which is why I don't think this bubble will ever really burst. I think it's more like a really stretchy balloon.

And to follow up on that, I guess my suggestion would be to probably just wait it out. Part of me feels like bitcoin has been too compromised to ever really represent what crypto has the potential to really do for the world, and the other part of me feels like bitcoin HAS to make it in order for any crypto to make it simply because of public perception.

A little part of me has this hope that even though it is obvious that the central banks are intentionally driving the price down and keeping it suppressed, that eventually enough bitcoin will be bought by "hardcore holders" that there will not be an ample supply for the manipulation bots to buy back and then "sell down" into the market after amassing a great enough supply. (if that all makes sense lol)

Funny too how XRP has been the only crypto performing well over the last few days.  Roll Eyes

And congratulations on buying your first btc.

My personal opinion is that this market fall is a direct attack by the central banking powers. They did the exact same thing with gold. They do this because bitcoin poses the greatest threat to their monopoly on the creation and control of money. If anyone tells you the central banks aren't manipulating the markets, they are either a central bank shill, or intentionally naive. The polish central bank was caught paying a youtuber $40,000 cash in february just to talk FUD about bitcoin. $40,000 cash. That's a lot of money to spend just on talking FUD. Now imagine what they would spend on actual market manipulation and price suppression to effectively "kill" bitcoin. People don't realize exactly how untouchable the central banks are. But perhaps this will give some perspective. The bank of international settlements is the "central bank" for central banks. It is owned by all of the central banks in the world and the heads from every country meet there every two months. The land it exists on is sovereign and exists outside of any country. No government official is even allowed on the land. They have their own police force. The members have immunity from arrest, search, and seizure WORLDWIDE. The bank cannot be audited, pays no taxes, cannot be sued, or charged in any criminal court. It holds over 7% of the worlds reserve currencies at all times. All international transfers pass through this bank. It also holds the largest amount of gold reserves in the world. And every government from every country except for Iran and North Korea, signed a special accord granting it all of those "above the law" priveleges.

So yeah. They run the world. It's not just conspiracy talk.

And while we are at it, here is an interesting fact. The day bitcoin crashed below $6,000, the IMF came out and said that central banks should make their own cryptos for "Stability".

The next day the head of the Euro Central Bank called bitcoin an "evil" spawn of the financial collapse. Which is funny, because the ECB, The bank of England, The USA Secretary of Treasury, and four of the federal reserve chairs are all ex goldman sachs executives. one of the investment banks that was largely responsible for the 2008 collapse which ruined millions of lives and was directly attributed to over 10,000 suicides the following year alone.

And he calls bitcoin evil. haha

MOST COINS ARE JUST LIKE BOTTLED WATER... WITH FANCY PACKAGING AND OVERPRICED BUT THEY ARE ALL JUST WATER.
THIS COIN IS MORE LIKE A RUSTY GARDEN HOSE
It was made so that everybody can have a drink.

If you are broke, rekt, or almost rekt.. this is for you.
Actually, this is for everyone...except bankers

people have value. not coins.
all you really need for a coin to have value is like minded people who are willing to hodl.
And to make sure no bankers have coins that they can dump into the market and cause panic selling.

About the coin:

Symbol: REKT

Decimals: 8

Contract Address: 0x4488E0007F80A38DE432E2E3Eb37950084b75666

Supply: 333,333,333

(I ran the calculations. This is the perfect supply level)

This is a "No bullshit" coin.
No lies or false claims.
No "revolutionary" new technology.
No thread full of fake comments.
No paid twitter followers.

just a no frills, no nonsense ERC-20 Token, with absolutely no value....  YET.
It is the very definition of REKT.

The Coin Will be listing on Token.Store this week i
(if I am able to come up with the remaining ETH I need to cover the listing.)
Hopefully I will be able to come up with it.

GOAL: to distribute this coin to as many people as evenly as possible.
PLAN: when enough people have it, they can agree that it has value.

SUPPORTING PRINCIPLE: Value is a consensus agreement. For money, value is arbitrarily assigned and people choose to accept that value.

PROOF OF CONCEPT: Central Banks create fiat currency arbitrarily and assign make believe value to it. People choose to accept that.
SUPPORTING PROOF: Cryptocurrency is a way for people to create unit's of value on their own.

Do you see how bitcoin and all cryptos are getting crushed right now?
Well, that only happens because they are now predominately held by institutions and the distribution isn't even.

I believe that the best way to do things is to be truthful.
And I am certain that there are plenty of other people out there who are REKT just like me.

I don't care if you don't have money.
I will still send you coins (as long as I have ETH to cover gas fees)
And If you donate to help me with gas fees, I will be generous back.

Even small donations are helpful and can increase the coins growth.
