Calm down everyone.
This is from the website:
"Distribution stopped while we're investigating sync issues"
Better communication from the Devs would probably keep things calmer on this thread, but at least have some patience, folks.

Greetings, all! On March 28, 2015 I will start the 1,560 mile walk from San Diego to Seattle using nothing but Bitcoin for equipment, supplies, lodging, etc. The evolving plans can be found on my blog at walkthataway.blogspot.com I would love to stop by and say hi if you have a meetup on my route. Since businesses and most especially lodging opportunities that accept Bitcoin are rare (hopefully less so by next year), I am planning my route very carefully and well in advance. I can be reached here, on my blog, or at walkthataway@gmail.comThanks in advance!

So because I am new and believed enough in the coin to mine it and promote it I am now related to the old dev?
I am one of the people that has been here trying to make it work. I am part of the community you want to rally so that all of us can profit instead of just a few. If you want me to butt out, I will. Completely.
|
|
|
The RAPIDCOIN dev has disappeared, but members of the community have stepped up to take it over and show the long-term potential of this coin.
RAPIDCOIN is currently listed #101 on coinmarketcap.com and is being traded on coinmarket.io.
Watch this space for more details as they develop.

Right now I am the only miner on http://rapid.stablehash.com/. Not very good considering my blistering 120 Kh/s is not exactly enough to keep up which is why I pool mine to begin with. The net hash as of this writing is 374 Mh/s. How are the other pools doing and are we guarding against the 51% problem?
|
|
|
I'd also like to point out that the net hashrate is 187 Mh/s.
With my puny little 120 Kh/s I am getting 10-22 coins per block.
Now would be the time to mine, folk.

Meh. I'm holding and still mining. I've been doing this long enough that I have seen many situations where panic by others made me profits. So to all of the people who are bailing and declaring the coin dead: THANK YOU!

rapid.stablehash.com could use some more miners is anyone is looking.
|
|
|
Can anyone please tell me if there is a buy/sell thread for rapidcoin?
I would like to buy some rapidcoin.
It is being traded on https://www.coinmarket.io/

|

I have been on stablehash (rapid.stablehash.com) since almost the beginning with no problems. Payouts etc., all on time. Sure some blocks have been slower than others, but that's normal. Sometimes you get a hard block.

I have good news. This coin will be listed on coinmarketcap.com soon. Maybe a day or two.. or three. We will see. $35,000 market cap. Nice! Add a zero within 72 hours. https://www.coinmarket.io/market/RPDBTCLove this site!!! ^^^ Never slow. Always super fast. Slammin'. Enjoy guys. Congrats to the holders. Going to get interesting. WOOT!!!!!

Wow. A couple of speculations, no facts, and people are dumping and declaring the coin dead. Too early to call on this one, guys.
As for the dev... look at his posts for the last few days. Considering the amount of work that was put in, the pools to straighten out, the problems to be fixed I think it is probably a reasonable assumption to believe that he may be silent because he asleep after being up and working for 24+ hours.
I still have faith in the coin and I am holding.

Edit: Already received! Thank you!

pwrj.pool removed from list I see .... thank you dev! I was one of his victums got me for 5hrs @ 900khs zero coins!
We are sorry about this, we removed as soon as we were alerted. If you can remember what your coin balance was (we will check against how many coins the pool earned) we will re-imburse you for them from the pre-mine. No that doesn't mean everyone PM us trying to get free coins, it's going to take some investigation before you receive them. Very honorable of you. Your behavior throughout the start-up is a major reason why I have faith in this coin.

I've got 3 coins and have been mining since hour zero with around 200kh/s... Seems pretty lite, no? If anybody is feeling generous and there is still some of the premine available, feel free to send it to RJMNkycpns2jUsAURBzcmex9amqcQCd3BT
Thanks, to the moon gents
Seems about right to me. I'm at 120Kh/s and have mined about 1.8 so far. Of course I would never say no to more myself. I have a lot of faith in the long-term potential of Rapidcoin. R9x6Mg5Uhc2rFG9xLKjHwUsc3aXFySfrwE
