21  Other / Meta / Re: Keep Bitcoin as a product for the people on: September 07, 2019, 11:01:42 AM
Congrats. I did try to help members from The Philippines in the Fit to Talk forum, but that seems to have died down a lot. I'll try to rebuild that over the next few months. Members from The Philippines, Venezuela and similar countries are important for the future of Bitcoin in my opinion. We need to ensure that the distribution of Bitcoin wealth is retained amongst the people of the world, and not just kept by the bankers.
Nice I must applaud you, but people from Africa to needs to be enlightened, there are vast population of Africans(in Africa or around the world) who has caught the interest of bitcoin. Some are not fluent in English or just to shy to come out. Like you said bitcoin is for the world and I believe it has the power in bringing people together and killing social vices like racism, stigmatisation, stereotype, xenophobia and so on.
22  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best country for crypto on: September 07, 2019, 07:31:24 AM
getting different mass answer from this question is sure.
someone even maybe bias about it and give support to their country I do not think it's about the country that adopted cryptocurrency but about the people that adopted the cryptocurrency, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is to unite the world as a whole and not fractional countries. So the best country that adopts cryptocurrency is the entire world
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / How many times have you gone against majority on: September 07, 2019, 05:21:50 AM
Sport betting is strange when it wants to be, it never a sure fact the impossibility can turn possible.
When booking a bet many bets on what the majority had placed before hand.
What am I saying betting site releases games for betting and gives an option where you see what others has selected and very often it's the one with the lower odd that  people place bet on.

Last week Saturday was a Turing point for me as I refused to bet with majority(31-8-2019) and placed a draw on the match between osasuna and FC Barcelona. Most people would see it as an unwise decision but that's soccer the foolish thing can turn out to be wise.

How many times have you gone against the crowd and smiled to the bank
24  Economy / Gambling / Re: SportOdyssey bitcoin sports brokerage has no kyc? on: September 07, 2019, 05:07:37 AM
im looking for a sportsbroker that no verification and my friend suggest odyssey. is my money safe with this?
You friend before giving you the suggestion of Odyssey should have tried it out and giving you real testimony of the site trustworthiness.
Verification is not a negative thing and I will always say this, if I get a good sportbroker verification or not should not stop me from trying it out
25  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: September 05, 2019, 10:04:54 PM

Which team do you expect to be a competitor of Real Madrid and Barcelona other than Atl Madrid!!  Is it Sevilla??  Cheesy

I'm one of Real Madrid fans.. but in this season I saw Atl Madrid very burning and becoming the biggest threat to Barca and Real. Joao Felix played very well in the Atl.
Like we saw in the English premier league some seasons ago Leicester City won the prestigious league yes laliga is more of a two team race but if the few matches so far are to be put into consideration the two top dogs has had there troubles atletico Madrid has so far three wins out of three but has not be brilliantly impressive in those games.
But there won't be an upset the trophy would go to either Barcelona or Real Madrid
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Attitude that can shape the altcoin sector positively on: September 05, 2019, 04:32:35 PM
For me the most important questions are: Why your coin deserves my money? and Which problem your coin will solve?

These two are the main problem in altcoin sector, the problem is not investors, advertising etc, there are tons of coins whithout any reason to exist, it's just a whitepaper and nothing more
If your questions are as what you wrote then how do a project sell it out to you except they advertise and you get to know if it suits you. The power if advertising is strong.

White paper and what is in it doesn't guarantee that the project would live up to what they claim no one can tell. But with the first few moves from the project you can at least check on the seriousness and passion for success
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I earn $1 worth of bitcoin everyday? Please help! on: September 05, 2019, 04:27:33 PM
Wrong move mate. The forum is not a bitcoin charity home you don't just come in and fish out bitcoin here. You have more pressing matter of Focus. If you the type that takes to advice I would tell you to learn more about bitcoin. Don't be to gluttony if you must have understood it to a good extent in the process improving on your bitcointalk forum account you would know how to earn bitcoin
28  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀ROCKETPOT.io | NEW BTC Crash Game | Win the Jackpots! | Launch Thread on: September 03, 2019, 04:54:47 PM
Not impressed.

There is no real meaningful contract in the terms and conditions. Who exactly can users take to court if fraud takes place?

There is no company or other ownership details or any contact address and telephone number. This is a massive risk for any potential game players.

Should they be giving benefit of the doubt that the are not aware of that but they should maybe they would look into that but aside that the site is not the worst I have seen so far. But other improvement sure needs to be included into it

How much full, sr, hero and Legendary members are there now?
A lot of recent as well as previous ranked member has zero knowledge on bitcoin. It's annoying to see people with zero knowledge on bitcoin is also growing up to the next rank, even with the new rank system "merit". What will be your answer if someone newbie ask you for technical support but you can't assist him because you don't know even though you are a Hero/ Legendary member?
Help one another is not fixed on higher ranking member(although it's good to lift others knowledge up from the position you had once been in)  you also as can help out because someone is a newbie do not mean he  completely lacks understanding it just that he/she is new to the forum and don't be surprised if that person growth is sporadic here.

No knowledgeable contribution is a waste regardless of the rank.
Yes you say higher members should help lower ranking members but statistically lower members are not actually seeking for help most of them get the wrong orientation and are busy constituting bounty spamming fun party.

I can be very correct to say you can ask a tangible question on the specific board for such question and not get some quality answers(although spam band wagon might drop by) .

There pin messages that guide newbies the problem is they don't want to read you can't expect to be spoon feed or take refuge in the fact that you are a lower rank member to seek for sympathy.
You have to set the ball rolling and then get people to coach you along the way
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Attitude that can shape the altcoin sector positively on: September 01, 2019, 07:10:00 PM
The altcoin sector is by far the biggest in terms of numbers of coin in the cryptocurrency market. Ethereum is the most valuable altcoin but it's like the glory day of ethereum is in the past now. Investors are by passing the opportunity to invest in altcoin in preference to the number one coin bitcoin.

Why is there a sharp decline in the altcoin sector? This question keeps coming up in the head of cryptocurrency followers, like two years ago altcoin was a very promising sector which everyone expected more form but fast forward two years on the case seems to be negative.
my answer to the question is attitude yes our attitude can impact either negative way or the opposite.

What are this attitude we have exhibited that has negatively impacted on altcoin.
1. Selfishness. Most investors are selfish they only care about what they can make but don't give a damn what happens to the coin it self, bounty hunters to have a role to play to they are snappy to dispose of the coin and this sure will decline the price
2. Poor publicity on the part of the developers. Altcoin can very much get into the cryptocurrency market with out being known developers should focus more time into spreading awareness about there project.
3. Poor road map. Developers should not create an unrealistic road map that they know can't be achieved cut your coat according to your size. Be truthful and real to the project.

32  Other / Meta / Re: Is it possible to reverse a given merit sent mistakenly to a different post? on: September 01, 2019, 01:58:49 PM
When you click on merit(at the top right hand of what you want to merit) it doesn't just immediately give away the merit it automatically directs you to a page and giving you guidance and options about how many merit you want to send and who you about to send it to.
You can only blame yourself if you don't pay attention to those write up.

34  Other / Meta / Re: The forum stats, are those correct? on: August 29, 2019, 08:42:14 AM

The first 5 (up to @grv) are consistent, but the bottom five have been replaced, baring numbers that seemingly incoherent in relation to the gap of days between the two stats (current vs the one referenced above).

@whitesark5 is in the same incongruent situation as @papperbag too, and so are the rest of the trailing five entries.

So this should be regarded as a mistake? Or a bug?  Because the list is for most time online and those accounts are nothing close to the time frame allocated to them and what's fishy is that most of them where registered on the 17th of August last year.

36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 23, 2019, 09:25:40 PM
One more step from Wolves to the Europa League group phase.
Wolves are very lucky to be able to win at Torino home, and the second leg in 1 week will be done at Wolves home. Wolves in this case must be very profitable and must be able to secure this ticket. To be sure, do not believe too high will pass. Because the ball is round and anything can happen.
I think wolves would very much deserve a place in the Europa league they had a great and awesome season last season where something like a giant slayer.
I would tip them to qualify and even go a long way in the tournament itself
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your favorite trading movies? on: August 23, 2019, 09:08:39 PM
What class would you put trading movie. Action, comedy, romance or what?  I would actually not be interested though because movies are fiction and not reality so the trading strategies there might not be so helpful in the real world
38  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe stolen funds should be returned to their owner? on: August 23, 2019, 09:04:28 PM
If after investigation and stolen funds belongs to someone(that got it true a clean and legal means)  then it's right to return it to them.
Fewer are case of stolen funds becoming recovered and those of exchanges stolen funds that get recovered some exchange still do not compensate those who lost their funds
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pricing everyday items in SATs on: August 23, 2019, 08:59:59 PM
Don't be faster than your shadows mate don't see pricing of goods in satoshi happening soon. And would the purchase with satoshi only be online?  Or would there be a physical bitcoin currency?
Because countries for example in the Third World still actively prefers off line purchase to online
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What exchange is better than binance? on: August 23, 2019, 08:54:44 PM
Binance is a big exchange no doubt and it has  it own qualities and it would be arguable if one says there is hardly no other exchange above it.
When am finding an exchange the features am looking for has to be meet. Example  fast withdrawal, low fees safety some are even looking for those that escapes kyc so you can compare and contrast features about binance and other exchanges
