Such an underrated project. Is there any plans for hiveOS support?
There's no hiveOS yet, although uPlexa is included within the latest versions of XMRig-CC (which allows easy control over many miners, live hiveOS). A few of us will look at it over the next week!

For reference I mined 94 uplexa after 24 hours, using my P20 Pro Pretty good! Noice! I have the same phone, but have not had it running for 24 hours yet. I've got a load of old handsets that I'm going to fire up next week.

Is this supposed to be an anonymous blockchain powered by IoT or is it the other way around and it is IoT powered by a blockchain?
It's an anonymous blockchain that has an IoT viable algorithm (allowing for the release of things like today's miner) IoT viable algorithm, I have to think about and study that term as I can't come up easily with the opposite. Which algorithm for example is not viable for IoT? It's viability mainly comes from the ASIC-resistant nature of the project, and the steps the team have taken to ensure small miners stay relevant. For example, the uPlexa team already have an emergency fork ready, should anyone develop a compatible ASIC - one which they can deploy in hours, rather than months. On top of that (and I'm not a developer, so they may chime in here), I believe the algo used is 'kinder' on low powered devices (half iterations from the original Cryptonight iirc). The main note from the project thus far, is that we're actually seeing delivery of these promises, and when we're surrounded by projects that simply don't deliver, I think that has to be a reason to show an interest

Are there any plans to allow the pool to be changed on the android miner?
Right now you'll be mining on PoolBux with Fruitypool as a backup. I believe the plan to to load balance miners across all the uPlexa pools, once there is enough mobile mining traffic.

New Android miner does not work .Dear developers, I conclude: you did shit. lobbying the interests of powerful manufacturers I was immediately taken out of contention, which means that I told the truth old device samsung GT-P5100 - miner does not work ASUS ZE551ML (Intel atom) - miner does not work Do developers want me to buy a new phone? and probably desirable S9+ I have a new phone (iphone). But I do not even want to raise the issue of production on iPhones, because the developers of this will never be able to do in their lives.
What an odd post. When this is a users first post on here, I would hope other people reading it would take it with a pinch of salt. This is absolutely not the place to ask for help; come to the discord and speak to the dev's in person :S What architecture is that atom? "This will currently only work on devices with ARM64 architecture."Did you read this on the miner release page on github? I think that CPU is x86, no? In which case, you need to use one of the other miners that supports that architecture. For the rest of the community reading this; we are all here to help over on the official discord. This release has been immensely successful, and we'd all love to hear your feedback/questions Mine to the moon!

Price bump comming in 3...2...1... @tybibone I've see many coins with huge "glitter" and no content which suceed on the short run only and then die. I've seen many high quality, real-world, real problem solving coins which die due to lack of publicity, funding and trading. That's why I believe they should both coexist. So if a real content/work driven coin such as uPlexa has enough publicity and followers, it shall succeed. Price is climbing, hash rate is climbing. It's going to be an exciting few days

Upcomming price bumping events:
1. uPlexa listing on CoinMarketCap and other similar websites 2. UPX Android Miner release 3. Trading platform
Which one do you think is most important and why?
well for that im not really into, i wanted UPX to be different to other coin, we just need UPX an stable price and growth so investor doesnt really lose money. pumping will make other lose and make the project worst I agree, although attractive increases in price will attract new people, and thus it will snowball, so I'm not adverse to seeing some interesting figures over the coming weeks (when all this cool stuff is released!) It seems after the latest CMC feedback we need to get more volume on STEX to be CMC approved unfortunate setback, but easily remedied. I've started diverting mined coins to STEX to help. I'd like to invite all of you to do the same. The sooner we can get on CMC the better. Also for those that are interested I have asked the Core team to consider submitting a request to add UPX to Atomic wallet as well. I'd like to hear what you all think? Can you tell me how much volume is needed an for how long ? P. S. Everything all right with the withdrawal on STEX ? Honestly, I'm not sure, but I have been watching the newly listed coins for the past month, and there's plenty with ~$2000 volume, immediately after being listed. I would say we're very close, and I think a re-application in a couple of weeks (once the mobile miner is out *STAY TUNED PEOPLE!*), will be successful!

Sorry guys, you sparked my interest initially, but this is an appalling launch. Your site doesn't work properly, you are not answering questions, it's all just a little bit crap. WHY didn't you just go through the simple steps of making sure you had a presentable platform before launching?! I'm out. For anyone looking for an IoT project with stuff that actually works, and a dev team who actually reply, try uPlexa; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5058404.0

I think finding uPlexa is still too hard, but it is the key to growth. When found and researched, I think a lot of people will fall for it.
So to me CMC listing is instrumental in getting uPlexa to a broader audience. Problem with the mediachannels in use right now incl the Youtube video's is that you need to know of the project and search for it to find it. Regular Joe does not know how to find it, or even search it. The base for most cryptopeople to find coins is Coinmarketcap. The search for low-cap, small projects mostly starts here and is easy to do. It is marketleader for a reason.
If it takes another shitty exchange to get listed, so be it! But the moment to do it is not right now, but after the next few releases are done and stable. That's when the project can really convince its worth.
Korifeetxs's view, as summarized here, is perhaps the quintessence of the path UPX needs to follow in order to reach the next level. Of course I also agree with: Yeah, for me, the Merchant Payment System is going to really kick the project on. I believe that's the next piece to come out (after the stable mobile miner and some minor fixes/improvements).
In an ideal world where the tehnical part, at least a working product and probably above all, a real world use case would be the criteria needed for every investor (big or small), I would also say that 100% the Merchant Payment System should be the most important of them. But at least at this moment I tend to believe that marketing and exposure are dominating the "must have" list for any project in the growing phase. This is why, just like Korifeetxs, I think that at this stage we need more YouTube videos from where people will hear about UPX. Lee from IMineBlocks definitely helped but more and more rewiews like Lee's are needed from vloggers with a large number of subscribers. To be honest, even though I never write anything until now on crypto forums or blogging sites like Reddit, Medium, etc, I am thinking about writing an article about it. It is just like crypo mass adoption. We all are expecting it and some of us are complaining that things are moving way too slow, but most of us are keeping our coins in the safe box or under the mattress, God forbid to use some of them and risk to become a new Laszlo Hanyecz story. So, the bottom line is that we are very fortunate that we found this project but it's in our own hands to try help it reach the spot UPX deserve. Yeah, one thing I would say, is Lee is one if the good 'uns! I've spoken to a lot of influencers and simple asked them if they would like to look at the project, and give their thoughts. They all seem to want cash, which is disappointing. Organic growth is key, and I think everyone is patient enough for that.

I also think that (once released) the mobile miner will receive quite a bit of attention, which will help the cause. Fingers crossed, this will still be released this week

I cannot mine using your miner and the only pool I can find (mine.iote.one). I've tried both ports 3113 and 3433;
minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://mine.iote.one:3433 -u EN56ntPw5*********************** -p TestServer01 or minerd.exe -o stratum+tcp://mine.iote.one:3113 -u EN56ntPw5*********************** -p TestServer01
I'm getting 'Failed to connect, timed out'.
What am I doing wrong? I've performed a port scan on your site and neither of these ports seem to be open. What port should I be using?
