21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin | First X11 | First DGW | RC4 Testing on: August 13, 2014, 05:13:32 AM
While the market sleeps,

Late January, I stood on a field overlooking my daily charges, children roaming to and fro.  I teach.  My assistant wandered by and asked me how my coins were doing in his friendly way.  There was one that I had just found that appealed to me.  We talked about darkcoin and the possibilities.  It wasn't until a few days later that I bought from Poloniex and held my first dark, I had missed out on the vertcoin pump, but I didn't understand really why something that appealed to miners and not end-users was soaring so high.  I held dark, traded some every time it hit resistance at .002 and benefited from the c-cex dumper who kindly came to spread his wares on Polo.  I felt more at ease holding dark than btc, so I stopped trading.  It held it's value for 2 months, boring many, and yet I was sure that it didn't matter, something would come of this.
April, murmurs in the market.  The move upwards was startling.  I was sure that Dark belonged in the top 5 by market cap and the market came around to this view.  I was restless, didn't sleep well because this rather small investment was now worth more than half my yearly salary.  I was prudent, father of 3 young kids, so I sold out half my position, cleared debt, repaid savings of my initial crypto investment.
The market has been relentless with the noise.  A new anom solution daily, thankfully it is slowing down now.  I understand the desire to capture the magic of Dark's early rise.   I appreciate the hard work of everyone involved in this project.  Something the anom guru said recently caught my eye, from the mint himself, Darkcoin may surprise us because Evan is a doer instead of a talker.  Thank you Dev for working so hard, it is obvious that you have been relentless in your pursuit.
Time is all mine,  I am excited for the days and years to come.  Long Dark and proud.

It is coming, and that right soon.  Who will break ranks first.  Wallet number 4, maybe wallet number 7 or 11.  Wallet number 15-18 are the same person, maybe it will be him.  Payday is here to the few.  Take it or be mad wondering which of the few beat you to it.  One law in crypto.  What rises comes down.  It's universal truth.

Direct that to day-traders, long term investors ignore the day to day moves.

Smokim, I'm really not trying to be a dick.  The day traders as you call them are moths to a flame, and they bring you and long term holders a gift.  Take it.  Re-invest the profits later for more cloak if that's what suits you.  The lack of distribution in this coin is appalling, and someone will help that problem soon.  Benefit from the obvious.

lol, it works on testnet, at least extensively works and the instamine thing has been beaten to death. Anyone with half a brain and access to the block explorer can see the coins that were instamined within the first 12-18 hours have long since been distributed to others. But carry on.

I believe it works on main net

Funny thing looking through the block explorer. Of the 2000 wallets, almost half have 1 or 2 cloaks.  This is a poorly distributed excuse of decentralization. End of story. Less than 100 wallets even have considerable amounts.  Power to the few, keep singing your mystified song that this is meaningful to many, because it's not.

Shacoin Dev,

Frankly, I appreciate your quick response and will await word from the exchanges.  Would you please contact Bittrex and Cryptoaltex at your convenience with any information you could help them with.

Hey, so I made a withdrawal a few days back when the sha wallet went down.  Now it is pending with no confirmations.  Can you please look into this.

Sha developer.  So I was interested in this coin.  I am not spreading FUD.  This is a problem.  2 exchanges can vouch for this ticket ID.  What is going on?

sincerely,

Kaze

Dear SHA developer,

I have 220,000 coins lost in limbo somewhere.   Huh  They went missing from Cryptoaltex to Bittrex.  I am confused by this.  Are you involved in scamming people for a few mbtc.  It doesn't seem worth it.  You can continue posting things like, 'it's all okay now, everything is fixed.' or 'look at this new logo'.  But I would much rather you fix what is broken.  Please respond to the exchanges, fix the code, or admit that you are scamming SHAcoin users.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SUN COIN - 10 coins per block, Mining Calculator, WORLDCOININDEX.com on: March 08, 2014, 07:29:44 AM
Hello fellow dwellers under the sun.

Devs, I have a simple suggestion.  It does not involve Iceland, an Indian tribe or Mars.  But it does involve all of these.  Promote this coin as an aid to teachers around the world.  No crypto has done this.  Maybe promote it as an aid to helping teachers who focus on mythology and the common stories that bind us.  I wish you well and must sleep before Angra Mainyu awakes and is unhappy with me.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlackCoin (BC) | on exchanges | PoS | No premine on: March 02, 2014, 07:00:42 AM
Anyone here having a problem depositing BC at mintpal.com? Is there a thread going on with regards to this issue?
Thanks

I'm not receiving withdrawals from Mintpal tonight.

Dark is 28000 on MintPal?

WHAT, why did everyone suddenly buy loads? It happened with BC too.

I had a small .0025 order go through. Pleased with whoever is testing that site.  Think we will be there and over soon.

When Dark breaks through the .002 mark, it will fly.  The Dark is Rising.

Someone buying at .0075 and selling at .001 is not trying to trick anyone.  It's just plain awesome, and I hope it continues.
