They want to do it because they are greedy and wanted to make more money out of the crypto market. They know that having their own token, they will have total control. That's why many crypto enthusiast are shunning away from Libra.
As far as the Chinese version, I think it wouldn't gain that much traction. Probably in their country, but outside the sphere, this will be just another shitcoin, IMHO.
You know China is a country with one of the largest population on earth, and they have copy clones for every single application available in the western world? QQ and WeChat, (Chinese Whatsapp clone) Renren (chinese facebook clone) Weibo (chinese Twitter clone) Youku Tudou (chinese youtube cloen) Dianping, Douban.... I am not surprised by this move at all. how could QQ be a whatsapp clone? QQ exist way before whatsapp  |

Few questions:
1. Is anyone's windows new wan wallet randomly closing or signing out asking to enter password again? is there a idle duration for exiting application?
2. Do I have to leave the wallet open to receive stake or once stake amount is delegated application can be closed and can earn stake without application being opened.
3. When is the staking rewards going live? is it now or September 1st?
1. not using windows, im using light wallet in my Kubuntu, everything works fine. 2. after doing delegate staking, you can close your wallet. 3. POS network goes live on Sept. 3, we should see staking rewards coming in on Sept. 5 onwards |

I would not expect WR to rise due to loans...but due to catds that will be the game changer...loans will take longtime to change WR but loans will give us stability in terms of the WR we will not see many "up and downs" in the WR
would be nice, if we can see the volume/loans made in Bankera. |
