it's my understanding that there will be a hard fork to activate the peg and the team will no longer support the non-pegged chain...

The more full-time, professional  FUDsters a coin has the greater the chance of success the coin has because some other project is scared enough to put those FUDster on their payroll to harm the coin. There seems to be two full time FUDdy-duds assigned to this thread. I'm going buy some more STRATs right now...

The Stratis team has been developing and delivering on the road map. they did so through out the bear market and continue now, which you would know if you followed anything about the project besides the price movement. I like that that the team spends its time developing and not hyping up BS for needy speculators like yourself that think that good marketing somehow equates to a usecase. The fact that I ask questions instead of giving you an answer that you could find out on your own if you took the time to look doesn't mean that I'm avoiding your "solid arguments" or are "on the hype train", but the fact that you can't answer my simple question does say a lot about you as an investor in this project. Clearly you didn't research the project and have no idea what its goals are or what the status of development is. You admit that you bought into the hype, so learn your lesson and do your research next time. Luckily you stumbled onto a very good project with Stratis. Sure the price is not where everyone would like it to be right now but they've hit every milestone on the roadmap so far and for the most part on time without the irritating and endless delays that have plagued many other projects. What more do you want out of the team? They are delivering on their promises. They are purposely choosing to not waste money marketing hype to speculators and are instead funding development and working onboarding businesses which is their target clientele, not some random jackass that bought a few strats off of the exchange hoping to strike it rich. You can't tell me what the usecase is or was supposed to be for stratis because to you the only usecase of a strat was/is to increase in value and make you rich. Unfortunately for you, but fortunately for the crypto space, the Stratis team has much loftier goals than making a nobody speculator like yourself rich. That being said, if you back up your Stratis wallet, stop looking at coin marketcap and check back in three to five years, you'll probably be pleasantly surprised. Crypto speculators are just too damned impatient, go smoke a joint and chill out...

what was the usecase supposed to be when you invested? did you do you due diligence before you shelled out your fiat?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: June 20, 2019, 07:42:50 AM
it's funny, because you first accuse Stratis of being built on hype and then say you're disappointed that they don't hype things on social media or with paid advertisements...

@Piston Honda - I saw your transformation from supporter to persistent troll. I'm guessing you sold and regret it? Not too late to buy back in, it's actually a good time to jump back on the train. Or be a hater for the rest of your life, up to you...

Just finished reading this entire thread. It's crazy, everything that BitBay has been through to get to this point. David Zimbeck and the community have overcame every obstacle, weathered every storm and are now on the verge of success. It is very encouraging to see that many people have stuck with Bitbay since the ICO or shortly afterward and are still part of the community, either here or on Slack, etc. I've held BAY since 2017, but recently took a greater interest when preparing to chop down the number of coins in my portfolio. BitBay made the cut for sure, it is as solid of a project as it ever was if not more so and one of the most promising projects in crypto. I have faith in David and the team and believe that the success of Bitbay is almost a certainty consider what they have developed. I don't have much money to donate, but I'm making a small donation to the exchange listing fund. Every little bit helps...

unless you are an original investor from the ico, you are not an investor at all just a trader/speculator and Stratis owes you nothing. An if you were an original ICO investor than you have gotten a ton of ROI even with the price where it is today, let alone the the ATH. People in crypto are just too impatient. The bull market of last year spoiled most people so that if they are see double digit gains during at least some of the hundreds of times the check their blockfolio single day of the week then they are disappointed. And of course Stratis token has utility, did you do any research before you bought in? Doesn't seem like it...

I didn't say mention the ATH, I just said I'm bullish. The team is developing and delivering on the roadmap, I'm satisfied with that for now. They're probably saving their marketing bucks until everything is ready for prime time. Unlike most crypto projects that only aim to attract investors and speculators, Stratis is aiming to target real businesses and you need a real, working, tested product for the businesses to use before is makes sense to start advertising. I like that Stratis isn't just focusing on a bunch of empty hype and promises for investors to jerk off thinking about...

Lots of good news coming out for Stratis. It's getting kinda bullish in here...

@blurryeyed - A link between Stratis and another project I'm interested in? Lol, you have too much time on your hands, trying to connect dots with lines that don't exist. What's wrong with posting in more that one thread? Who cares if I'm a n00b, not everyone was born legendary... I'm beginning to wonder why you are maintaining this FUD campaign against Stratis. I think there's more going on here than some anonymous internet hero protecting complete strangers from "scam" projects. Here's some questions: Has another project that is worried about the success of Stratis put you up to this FUD campaign? What's in it for you to see that Stratis is exposed as the scam that you claim it to be? Hmmm...

@blurryeyed - seems like you have a personal vendetta against khilone. You say Stratis is a scam, yet here you are everyday bragging that you got the guy banned. If you don't like the project, why are on constantly on this thread? Just move on and/or get a life and stop being childish...
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: May 12, 2019, 03:48:07 PM
Acetmesis, why did Khilone get banned? I'd like to hear from someone besides blurryeyed, he seems just bit biased...

@dzimbeck - Question for you?? I own and operate a small screen printing company. I was wondering if I first got permission to print some Bitbay shirts to sell on the market, is there is a way to allot a portion of the sale to Bitbay automatically to help further development or what not (maybe through a smart contract). Would this be welcome? Is this possible and is there some sort of a tutorial or something that would explain to me how to implement this? Just curious, but if it is possible and I have a green light, I would love to run with this idea? Please let me know you thoughts?

Bitbay is on the cusp of doing some great things. I really interested to see how the dynamic peg is received once is goes live on an exchange (ideally a few exchanges). But what really made me double down on my Bitbay position recently was the demo version of the web market. As someone who regularly uses an online selling platform (Esty) I was very impressed with the web market and the features it currently has. It's not too far off from being on par with Etsy or Ebay and I assume it will only get better with time. I think the web market has a lot of potential and could be the thing that draws the masses to Bitbay... Good things come to those who wait...

Seems like the crypto-space is in desperate need of the dynamic peg:

OEx... my mistake...

Questions about the exchange listings: Has Bittrex indicated one way or the other how they feel about the peg?  Does OKex listing Bitbay in a few days imply that they will implement the peg when it is ready?
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: April 25, 2019, 05:06:33 PM
True exchanges don't always last, but clearly Bitbay the exchange is not going anywhere. They've been around as long you and seem to be one of the bigger exchanges in Europe (or were until they moved to crypto friendly Malta last year). Coinmarketcap says they are doing some 10 million in daily volume. Considering that it's hard to see them going belly up and it seems unrealistic to wait and hope for that to happen. They have a logo that is sort of similar to ours and a Google search for Bitbay has them showing up in the number one spot and Bitbay.market showing up 5th. That has to be hurting us as a project in terms of being discovered. It's understandable that rebranding is not in the budget at the moment but I think it's something that needs to be seriously considered as some point down the road, especially as when the project is more ready for prime time. There are several examples of coins that really took off after a rebrand. For example, Antshares gave up their cartoony ant logo, rebranded to Neo and that's when the project really started taking off. Personally I don't think BitHalo would be a good choice, but nothing else is springing to my mind either at this time. Perhaps when you are ready you could see if someone in the community has a good idea. It could literally be anything as long as it's you unique and somewhat catchy. Think about Etsy, that name would have brought nothing to mind before it existed, but now it's a household name because it's the catchy name of a very useful site and successful....

More client issues: So I download and installed the client, imported my wallet and the blockchain has been synchronizing for the last week is finally at 100% today. Problem is I see nothing in the marketplace, it is empty. Are there things for sale in the marketplace and I just can't see them? What's the problem?
