GT missed an golden opportunity to outplay the opponent and now CSK bowlers did exceptional in the death overs by restricting GT for a lot less than what they were expected and took the momentum with them.

No one should forget this is the venue where RCB chased down 200 in 16 overs, so definitely the game is still on.

Rutu and Dube will decide the fate of this match.

Finally, GT made a change in their 12th match which is working for now and they are scoring at good RR and yet to lose a wicket. This is the time for their bounce back and is it gonna be against CSK who they lost trophy to in the last season.

Gill is trying to prove a point after being a complete failure in the season with some runs who criticized a lot about picking up in the reserves.

Going to be a high scoring thriller, excited to see who is going to secure 2 points today.

It's true that RCB make a strong comeback at a very last time which isn't much worthy for them because compared to them Lucknow and Dehli Capital has much more chances to qualify for playsoff if CSK some how didn't manage to inn Thier self in next round so if some dreaming for RCB qualifying for semifinals them they should stop thinking and dreaming about that despite any mericle happened and rain wash rest of thier team match and then RCB won the rest of thier matches by huge margin which mean it isn't possible at current season may be we will have in future anyway congratulations to RCB on his stunning victory and most importantly Virat spectacular innings which really put them on track otherwise they lost Thier track by quick early two dismissal.

It needs some miracle if RCB enters into play-offs but they atleast have 1% which is what forcing them to perform like what we saw yesterday. Alos we need to look who is playing against who then things will be more interesting and if I am not wrong every team is fighting for the 3rd and 4th position has clashes between each other that will decide the fate of them for sure but all the remaining matches in the league is going to be high thriller for sure.
24  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL Cricket on: May 09, 2024, 06:24:01 PM

RCB batsmen have performed very well in today's match.  Their batsmen have scored runs in the match with great effort and struggle.  And still Sun has more chances to win.  This is because of their bowlers and their target.  Punjab King batsmen need 80 runs from 32 balls to win the match and it is very difficult for them to win.  If they accelerate their pace, they can win the match. And with the performance of their bowlers, this target has also become very difficult.  Their bowlers are working hard stopping runs and taking wickets.  Punjab King's chances of winning the match have greatly reduced.  His bowling is also doing very well. But at present their performance is very bad.

Just after couple of minutes you wrote this the match actually ended, maybe you didn't give any attention to the wickets column. Roll Eyes

RCB won by 60 runs which means their hope of getting into playoffs are still alive, their position at the points table remain same but they ended the PBKS playoffs run with this victory.

Tomorrow there's another pre eliminator especially for GT, if they loss then it's their end of the season as well.

RCB is here to make a statement for sure, I don't mind whether they qualify or not but at last they are playing in the way that's how they supposed to play since the beginning but nevertheless they posted big target which may looks easy considering this year's IPL target and chases but I won't rule out the score board pressure which gives better advantage for RCB in my opinion.
26  Local / India / Re: How whales convert their crypto to INR! on: May 09, 2024, 03:45:15 PM
@Bitcoin Smith, whales never convert crypto to INR. A whale can be considered as an institutional investor or a private investor whose main objective is to gain high profit through market manipulation or short selling. A whale is not like a retail investor who will need money after a certain amount of trade. They invest with certain goals and unless they achieve it they keep funds on the exchange as explained by @Bureau.

I do accept whales rarely convert their crypto to fiat but the point of discussion is to find how they will do when they want to and dodge paying the taxes. There are certain period even I noticed it by myself where trade books on wazirx filled with 100s of bitcoin but that's all probably before that 30% tax rate was implemented.
27  Local / India / Re: [March 2024 update] Indian Board activity on Bitcointalk on: May 09, 2024, 03:32:41 PM
If someone does apply then it would take ages to get approved.
If the board has already a merit source and they want to look add one more then yes, or if they don't really have a Local board then getting one took ages than getting a merit source of them but here it's not really the same if someone considered as recognized member they might be included in the next month itself.

It is better if anyone is inclined in getting merits to contact the global merit source and ask them to review post. It has been done previously and if you want @Bitxoin Smith I can help you with a few names. Above all I can request @icopress, if he is now a merit source to look into our board.

I also thought about contacting hugeblack, but I don't think he is offering local board reviews for a while, which I noticed from his merit page.
28  Local / India / How whales convert their crypto to INR! on: May 09, 2024, 07:19:16 AM
I have this question for very long time especially when I see max trading limit on exchange goes even upto crores which means potentially people can convert how much amount they have in BTC to INR but there's no way someone who is selling huge amount is going to pay 30% tax and even 1% TDS seems too much considering the value in INR.

So what are the possible alternatives you think they convert BTC to INR if they wanted to.

Mostly all I see is going to Dubai set up a company and then transfer funds to INR but it's really feasible or how do you think they convert.

Let's speculate and bring in all your imagination guys. Grin

No other team has ever seen such a devastating innings as seen in SRH's match. SRH chased down the target of 167 runs against LSG within nine overs, again without a wicket.

Sunrisers Hyderabad have the highest number of innings in the IPL so far. They should enter the field to record such a record in every match. Those who missed the LSG vs SRH match yesterday I would say missed one of the greatest matches of the IPL. I would like to see Sunrisers Hyderabad in the playoff round even if it is to see such great batting.

LSG made it look like a difficult track to bat contrarily SRH batter hit every runs via fours and sixes. Head is one of the destructive batsmen which started with ICT then WC final but if there is a good bowler then he could gift his wicket for sure cause he is trying to slog and if there is some assistance on the pitch for bowlers then surely he will get a top edge and score single digit score.

SRH looks deadly but playoffs is not gonna be easy cause they will strategize how to get their openers wickets.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 08, 2024, 07:20:51 PM
Because nowadays the younger ones take gambling more seriously then school. Yesterday i got back home early so I decided to step out and go to a betting shop to catch some fun while gambling, I saw two teenagers gambling with their school uniforms on them.

I asked someone besides me why did they allow this boy's to come in with their uniforms and gamble, he said did they put any restrictions that younger ones are not allowed to gamble. I said but it's not normal, I replied him what if this are your kids would you be happy seeing them gambling with their uniforms on them. So what do you guys think about this situation at hand now.

There should be a minimum age for a person to be allowed for gambling in any country and I hope there is one where you reside too and if the operator doesn't seems to care about it and allow kids to bet then you can call the cops or any security services related to handle these kind of things. But isn't the job of their parents to supervise what their kids are doing?

The fans of Mumbai Indians are also watching this match closely and with this match result their fate can be determined too.

IPL playoff scenarios: Mumbai Indians pray for LSG to beat SRH

Quote
With only 14 matches to go in the league stage of IPL 2024, no team has yet qualified for the playoffs, and no team has yet been knocked out. Here is a look at how the qualification scenarios stack up for all the teams.

The match is still in process so hope at least till the last over. By the way, once they crossed 160, there are some chances for them to win this match and that score is also reasonable but still there are some chances with that.

AFAIK, MI was the one officially got eliminated even before this match started.

You can find the (E) near their name because they already played 12 matches and only won 4 of them.

SRH really made a dent in LSG's NRR because they chased down the target in just 10 overs with 10 wickets in hand, the bully came back again for sure with this performance, and now they moved to 3rd position.

I read on Meta someone was recently added in as merit source this month so there is high chance that if someone who were long here and high ranked, probably legendary apply then theymos might consider for sure.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL Cricket on: May 08, 2024, 02:57:34 PM

The Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and they wanted to bat first but I think it could be a hard decision because maybe they have seen one time Travis Head's average performance and now they may think what can he do?

But today they will get the results in just a few minutes and Travis Head is the master of chase as he had chased 261 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru by making 100 in just 41 runs which is not a cup of tea. Today we have to be ready to see that Lucknow Super Giants won the toss today and already lost two wickets of Quinton de Kock and Marcus Stoinis. Certainly this is not a start Lucknow Super Giants were hoping for after winning the toss and batting first.

LSG will not likely to make into the playoffs because they lack inform batsmen at the top, De cock failed throughout the season which out tremendous pressure on the middle order and mostly they consolidate the innings once they lose initial wickets.

Today there's no difference in their approach, already lost the 3 wickets and crawling by only scored 65 at the end of 11 overs which will never be enough with the team bat this season. About Travis Head he exploded but also he failed in the recent matches so if there is atleast 170 on the board the LSG might try defending it.

Regarding DC match they managed to pull off in the death overs, Stubbs again played an extraordinary knock to get them to a good total.

RR had chance had Sanju stayed on crease, his out was questionable.

I agree but there is not any movement on the cushions at the boundary rope which will not likely be if the players touched it and that is the reason he was given out, but from naked eye it looks like he was too close to touching it while holding the ball.  These things bound to happen, even after the wicket of Sanju they still had big hitters but none of them provided what's needed at the moment.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Will I be easily hacked? on: May 07, 2024, 08:23:59 PM
I have read about Bitcoin storage and it is said that cold storage is the safest because it cannot be hacked since it is not connected to the internet. As a beginner who is yet to buy bitcoin, I would like to own some portions of bitcoin before I will consider to buy a hardware wallet.

I have a brand new phone, if I unbox it and use it to install only my bitcoin wallet without using it to frequent online or click links and neither will I download other apps. Will I still be easily hacked?

You never know that your security is 100% intact even if the device is connected to internet once just for the few seconds. But for storing small amount of crypto this is more than enough, I used Electrum on my day to day mobile and never had any issues until now. But if you are buying decent chunk of Bitcoin then consider buying a hardware wallet too from the authorised seller not just from a random site that you find online.

Once again Rajasthan is losing their winning momentum at the wrong time, it has been their habit every season but this year it came a little later. The 18th over of both innings actually decided the fate of this match. For RR Chahal bowled and went for 21 runs while for DC Kuldeep bowled, picked two wickets and gave only 3 runs. Smiley

DC hope for the play off still remains alive, Tomorrow we have the most important match between LSG and SRH, one who lose might impossible to get into top 4.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL Cricket on: May 07, 2024, 04:50:25 PM

At the end of 8 overs, Rajasthan collected 78 runs after losing 2 wickets. Samson remains unbeaten with 44 runs from 20 balls. And Riyan Parag remains unbeaten with 8 runs. Riyan Parag is batting very slow now. But if Parag stays at the crease, he has the potential to score big. Also Powell and Shubham Dube are experienced batsmen.

When it comes to chasing they did chased big targets but at the time Butler was the man but today he got out early, even after dropped once. Still they are having power to chase the big target but I am looking at the spin duo who is bowling economical which will force to play wrong shots so Kuldeep is the key bowler if DC wants to keep their playoff hope alive.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BC.GAME IPL 2024 Participant’s Exclusive Discussion Thread on: May 07, 2024, 03:58:35 PM
Anyway, wtf is going on with Delhi? lol
DC is fully dependent on their opening pair and in particular J. Fraser-McGurk. He did his part and got them a good beginning , as usual they didn't use it for themselves. This is not the first time that he helped DC. What I feel bad is that as soon as Rishab Pant was announced as part of the team his abilities as a batter can be questioned.

For me what we see is what we know. As for me Rishabh Panth is struggling after getting selected. The question now is to know whether BCCI selection team will rethink what they selected. Starting with Rohit Sharma and a few others on that list.

I doubt they will make any changes in the announced squad as of the moment, only possibility that we can see if someone goes injured.

Pant used to be a destructive batter but he is not same since his return but BCCI still starts with him and if he don't fulfil then they might bring in Samson in his place.

Regarding DC match they managed to pull off in the death overs, Stubbs again played an extraordinary knock to get them to a good total.
39  Local / India / Re: India cricket Discussion and predictions [self-mod] on: May 07, 2024, 02:11:41 PM
He is in the worst form of his career, he has fitness issues and has the worst stats in this IPL. Considering all the above issues why BCCI still wants Rohit to captain a team which is going play the T20WC. Media and every cricket fan are so much obsessed with Kohli that they forget about Rohit's batting for the last three or four years. If today Kohli retires then it will be an end for Rohit career as he will be forced to retire from all formats of cricket.

I am getting a sense that he will announce his retirement from international cricket or atleast from the Whitehall cricket when this T20 season ends unless he process us wrong and capable of winning an ICC trophy. Kohli still looks good and 35-36 so if he manages his fitness as of now then they are maybe playing him one more cycle just to gain the fame for cricket in Olympics 2028.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🔥 BC.GAME IPL 2024 Participant’s Exclusive Discussion Thread on: May 06, 2024, 08:25:47 PM
MI is now getting into the spoilers party along with RCB, made things tough for SRH who thought will end up in the first 2 positions.

SKY showed his class with 102*, but he is kind of struggled in the midway hope there's no injury or we might see a forced change int T20 squad. Once again MI openers failed and form for Rohit is big concern now for India.

Finally, will they rest Bumrah who needs a break before the WC for sure and there's no point for forcing him to play when there's zero possibility for them to qualify.
