If this is life without Bitstamp, then I for one, hope it never comes back online. Good riddance to that Slovenian dump of an exchange and its smug co-founders

No way ... especially with the greedy Chinese exchanges involved. All they want is to scam
25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 05, 2015, 05:20:24 AM
should of got your bitcoins out of the swamp while you still had time ... sounds like the music just stopped.

If the clowns have really lost their private keys, this is actually pretty good for the rest of us who dont transact at that dump. Takes out a a decent supply out of the bitcoin economy. My bitcoins just got a teeny weeny bit more scarce, so not too bad.

I know we have Marc Andreeson, Tim Draper, Barry Silbert, the Twinkleberry Twins etc ... but they are all still small fish. What BTC needs is a big fish like Jeff Bezo, Mark Zuckerberg, Sergey Brin, Larry Page, a few billionaires. Even if they were to move less than 1% of their wealth to BTC, it would be a tectonic shift in buying up/countering these almost monthly commie-led bear raids

Meanwhile - the EURO opened on Monday (in Asia) at the lowest point in 9 years... It feels like tectonic plates are shifting in the financial markets outside of Crypto.

Euro is finished. Greece being taken over by the f-ing nazis. Germany being a total d-bag and UK too drunk to notice whats happening.

Bitcoin will crash down and make a new all time recent low.

I have said "$254 and $233" are the two bouncing points, in DGB thread and now $257 (Ref: CMC) we have seen and bounced back from then... Now time for $233....
But it does not really look good to me... Lets see... but staying in BTC is a bit too risky, best to stay in Dollars or any other altcoin you believe in.

I have chosen mine, DigiByte is one of the safer coins at this very moment. Good Luck peeps.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Grin Grin
Good one.
Made me LMAO. Especially the alt nonsense.

I did laugh too initially however digibyte is a catchy name I must admit.

These shitcoins still around huh?

The next 24 hours will determine the future of crypto currency for the next decade.

Real talk bro. Someone with there head working thank god

Is that sarcasm or u really believe in God? Cheesy

We only believe in Satoshi and we have failed Him because of our greed and malice. For He did say:

"For the love of the Bitcoin is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs."

Book of Satoshi: 6:24

Difficulty at 340ph   already at the upper end of my prediction 3 days ago.

Lots of new Antminer S5s on the network, mainly in Bitmains data centers. But if the price continues this way I think difficulty will start stagnating again. Not to mention the possible delay or mothballing of new 14nm/16nm finfet machines. People have bills to pay, networked super computers can't live on just love and good intentions.

Discusfish is the biggest pool now.

I would think at least 10000-15000 s5 came on board and then spondoolies cranking it up too

Oh great, so we were dissing btcguild first and then ghash.io for becoming too big but chinese commies taking over bitcoin is all well and swell huh. What hypocrisy!

39  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2015, 07:03:56 PM
Bitcoinwisdom calc: a single 15k flash sale of BTC is all you need to crash the price below $200. Getting pretty scary out there. Fear a flash crash around the corner.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 04, 2015, 06:59:40 PM
If the price of Bitcoin goes low enough, mining investments become stranded, miners drop out, the blockchain gets taken over by a minority of sites, game over.

Plus the time to verify transactions was always too long. It's like saying your design for a bird is a penguin.
