In fact, that is more a FNAQ - Frequently Not Answered Questions.

And da_fat_rat will fly away with a full btc stuffed ass... :-/
(leave something for the lawyers and it s all set; fuck the creditors)
22  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: April 12, 2014, 01:12:09 AM
how can they " assume all of Mt. Gox’s liabilities and obligations.",

and say that the creditors willl get back a prorated amount ?

Paying the creditors is the first liabilitie isn't it ?

Possibly because they believe that the Japanese authorities won't consider bitcoins to be assets of MtGox at all, so won't appear on the balance sheet as a liability?

That has always seemed like a very likely outcome to me.

Not that. Re-read:

"Creditors will have two options. They can either receive a prorated amount from the 200,000 bitcoins recovered by Mt. Gox"
23  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: April 11, 2014, 03:12:30 AM
200K BTC are 25, not 20% of the total around 800K BTC to start with.

So that must be a joke. ;-P

I'm not worried about the hardware error itself, I usually get one or two near the beginning, but it stabilizes over time.  I just noticed that the shares are 2, with one HW error on both miners, but the % of hardware errors is different.  How are the percentages calculated if two miners with the same accepted and hardware error have different percentages?

I guess hardware errors HW % are calculated among all usefull results (diff 1 up) so they may be compared to different totals for different erupters. If they were related to accepted shares, 1 versus 2 would be 33 or 50%...

Your numbers must be saying something like:
1  = 1.8% of 56, 2 of which above 16
1  = 2.4% of 42, 2 of which above 16

I would like it to be replaced by the old "accepted shares per minute", a good measure of miners performance.
Accepted shares per minute is absolutely useless information... it tells nothing about performance.

Oh yes?!? My ignorance then... but how come that?

Is there something I should study or read about this? I thought it was what I should look after for each miner...
Shares often have different targets/weights.

Ah yes... That s right no doubt. I m alleviated. Smiley

But I was meaning something like shares/minute*diff or even "shares"/minute and we calculate diff. Main target here would be to have some usual number to see and check at any moment. I guess you ve elaborated that a lot more and sure, we have there "I:  143uBTC/hr" Maybe  I should just get used to that 143u... Is this the (new, better) way?

PS and BTW: about that doubt of me of sometimes BFGMiner showing, at [M] menu, erupter data (serial# and description) and sometimes not... Any recomendations? Solutions? Just live with that?

Thanks again Luke-Jr and congrats.

Does anyone use the E(fficiency) displayed on the TUI? Any other options I can deprecate to make more room for new ones? :p

I would like it to be replaced by the old "accepted shares per minute", a good measure of miners performance.

BTW [H]elp says U = shares per minute, but it s not displayed nor I can find how or where to turn it on...

Thanks!

Well.... it looks more like that s the reason the fat rat himself is still alive. ;-)
29  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-03-30]Employees Challenged MtGox on Client Money Two Years Before Bankrupt on: March 31, 2014, 05:46:51 PM
https://coinreport.net/employees-challenged-mtgox-client-money/

"In the developing MtGox saga, we just got more stories of alleged wrongdoing on the part of the CEO Mark Karpeles. In exclusive interviews to Reuters, previous and current employees of MtGox allege that Mark had been using client’s money to cover costs. Some of the extravagances reported include rent in expensive high-status Tokyo office building, a robot, a 3D printer and a special edition Honda Civic imported for the CEO from the UK. Worried that the firm was spending more money that it had coming in commission fees, employees asked for a meeting with Mark Karpeles. Karpeles tried to assure them that customer money was not being used to cover costs but refused to provide any evidence."

The fucking fat rat living in Japan had to bring a Honda from UK... oh man....
Every penny must be taken from this bastard, to start with.
That before jail, jail before murder.

BTW if and when MtGox (even partially) recovers, maybe we ll see 2 moments:

- BTC going down caused by some desperate stolen or "stolen" BTC sales; followed by

- BTC going up, back to normal exchanges, whole market, operations. (Goax itself... hmm, no ;-)

BTC (remember, 710 after bankruptcy) back to 505 ... are we at fase 1? scammers trying last chances to push "malleability" BTCs away?
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: March 27, 2014, 02:53:53 AM
New post on Gox:
"..consulted with the metropolitan police department with regard to the disappearance of bitcoins..."

What a complete and total pantomime. Pink Panther coming up?

And even more hilarious is a metropolitan police called to solve a planetary theft... Pantomime! right there

This is a f*cking disqualified list of lies to explain sh*t and come back to market... Note it down...

-----EDIT
Probably, there is no option for this...
But it is unstable, sometimes it shows, then suddenly not anymore...
If anyone knows what happens, please help.
-----EDIT

Please help! And get some help as well.

I have seen, at BFGMiner, by some accidental move here, and I guess at [M]anage devices screen, information on device description and serial number like the 2nd and 3rd lines below:

AMU 0 :       |  2.05/ 2.05/ 2.01Gh/s | A: 632 R:1+14(2.3%) HW:4/.15%
CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller from Silicon Labs
Serial: 0001

I cannot find where to control it! I ve tryed everything and searched the net. Some posts here show that, however.

So please, can anyone tell me how I turn that on and off on BFGMiner?

Thanks!

I have Windows XP SP3 and got Block Erupters, Antminers U1 and U2 all running fine.

I have used 2 tools

- USB and other drivers cleaner
Remove not present devices, previous erroneous tries...
https://github.com/kevinoid/remove-nonpresent-devices

- Silabs serial number and description editor (what allow me to see WHICH device is AMU* when I get that of above operational)
Change serial number after pluging each miner
doc
https://www.silabs.com/Support%20Documents/TechnicalDocs/AN721.pdf
utility

Now PLEASE HELP me with turning description and serial display on / off on BFGMiner! Smiley
33  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: March 23, 2014, 04:17:30 PM
My guessing already is MtGox will be up and running again, not far from now, all balances preserved, but with a lot of "measures", "to avoid a bank run" and some "we apologize"s. Shielded by the bankruptcy protection.

People will be happy to see their balance has recovered and be patient one more time (the only alternative by then). Willing to withdraw everything, of course, and will do that ASAP, but still better the full balance there than only 1% or 10% right now. "So let s wait a little more."

In the mean time, new team, new stuff... Money blocked, will start exchanging again. New people or speculators arrive. The 200 K are the gas to move the machine. Civil recovering in its course....

Slowly, old balances are withdrawed, new balances arrive, all fine again. FucKarpeles alive, guaranteed at least by the time money is blocked...

Strategy Crisis plan achieved in full.

Question is: will it keep being MtGox? Gox? Goax? ;-)
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox announce finding of 200,000 lost BTC! on: March 22, 2014, 02:25:38 AM
Is there any proof that mtgox had a total of 850k btc in hot and cold storage? I do not consider the hacked mtgox data as a proof here because the data could have been modified in order to present a larger total (btc or fiat) balance. I believe that any information is leaked is in purpose and MK is responsible for the leaks.

More the amount of btc or fiat that Mtgox claims as lost, less the percentage that Karpeles pays back to gox customers.

Good point, no doubt.

That s why the fat bastard must be squeezed until no one else complains he owes any fiat or BTC, until no satoshi drops out from his ass hole. It is very easy for Fuckarpeles to take 1000 from someone, say "I owe 1 million" and pay them 0.001 to quit the debt.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox announce finding of 200,000 lost BTC! on: March 21, 2014, 05:42:14 PM
So I was rereading the crisis draft and then suddenly:

"We will need to inject fresh coins inside the system in order to establish a basis to eventually clear the books by running the exchange (perhaps 200,000 coins). " <-- Bam!

Well well well, look at that.

Right there.

In fact, except for PR, the Crisis Strategy plan is being followed almost in full by the bunch of liars. If and when a new administration and team is announced, reopening, together with some kind of "stay here" incentive (like the well known delayed withdrawals), it will be ipsis litteris.

http://pt.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft

Lets see the GOAX and / or the goat climbing the mountain ;-)

GOAT HOAX

geez mt gox.

they can't even go bankrupt properly.

Exactly!!! :-))

The sad and real fact however, is they re just lying. That s why it doesnt work. Lying like a child's plan... but about half a billion $.

They not recalling where 200K were, is like Obama pushing world war button "by mistake". What kind of business it was, for Mt Godx sake?!

Squeeze the fatty motherf*cker until last satoshi comes out.

F*cking liars. As already done a lot of times before, the fat rat will keep lying until there s no escape. Press the bastard! This guy deserves death, after paying every penny back. Silk Road guys must be on stalk ;-P Everybody is still waiting, just in the hope of getting their money back... Fuckarpeles better get some Magic The Gathering out of the hat or be prepared to meet the Lord.

Did you lose money on SilkRoad?
Why did you mention it?

Aren t they the so called "bad" people in the news? People usually not that pacient and tolerant. ;-) But no... never had any bizz there.

MtGox login and balance alright here too. Means nothing, but it s way better to see the correct amounts than the nothing it had there before.
