It was clearly advertised on the DeepOnion ANN thread that the coins were premined as it was a signature airdrop campaign and this method requires the coins to be available so as to distribute them to each of the members wallets for each of the 40 weeks...

It was also described that the staking of the premined coins would be used for bounties and other rewards to the community members for posters videos and other contributions to the success of the project.

Also lets not forget with the airdrop rules (at that time) where there were 10 posts and 100 characters required minimum (This was relaxed a number of times)  but the majority of fud was from those who didn't comply and were banned from the airdrops. This created a lot of animosity especially as it was such an expensive crypto an there were many who bought farmed accounts to try and cheat the system as well.

However i personally think that many who read the illogical fud actually did their own research and then joined us so just gave DeepOnion even greater visibility..

As time went on the scam allegation reduced until the fudders could only say that the onion hodlers would sell after the airdrop lol

Since the last airdrop on Friday the 20th of April 2018 DeepOnion has increased .. and has had a fairly bullish month in general with all the good media articles including https://themerkle.com/what-is-deeponion/ & http://fairreporters.net/economy/best-crypto-privacy-coins-to-buy-in-2018/ Here is a new one by http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/3735414 plus there been many others. Its been a hard few months for crypto in general but also for the rest of the financial world, not helped by the relations of major international powers causing a further pulling back of money from the markets.

However now the cold of winter passing... The sun is coming out and everyone knows that onions love Spring time.

DeepOnion is one of the best crypto's is the world in many ways. Besides its great privacy tech it has real use with DeepVault and it also has one of the biggest & talented communities giving even further value to the project. The development continues with a growing team whom wish to hire more blockchain developers and i have said this before too, but DeepOnion is a relatively new altcoin yet doing very well with all the media articles and as said above now by the youtube and crypto investment community whom are just waiting until the end of the airdrop to come in.. Though i must say that DeepOnion has been quite steady in such a red market for the past few months and is a very good buy atm. I have real FOMO, "fear of missing onions", at these great prices.... but i'm "fiat" poor a s usual but soon "lambo" rich with DeepOnion... Just need to hodl...
