kind of - but without the big gaping holes that compromise the ability to cool the cards(s)...
That`s becorse its a picture from the alcheminer 96mh/s

This is the 256, looks like a exact copy, however it`s a working miner, if the customers get a comparable item, juridical i see not problems

I do. Lots of them, in fact.

OH MY GOD!!!

this must be so painful for you guys are are now eating your words....

let me think - vaporware - scammers, when I have time I'll go back through the thread and repost all the accusations...

here's my new machine sitting in my office in West Chester, Pa.

psu's get hook up later around lunch time when I have some time and to the moon!

so solly charlie!

http://imgur.com/w7Zbnad

exactly -- that's what I've been saying here all the time!!

Myself less-than-thrilled about MAT, indeed, I tried to find out real word-on-the-street news and updates from ANYONE about MAT's delivering (or not delivering) any machines here. Response results: totally zero-nada-zilch-zip. Off-topics and unfounded "Scam" accusations (other than founded on hot air and hearsay, but I can do that myself): loads-n-loads, megatons of garbage, but not one single usable bit of information on the actual situation and on whether or not anyone got a box delivered back around the end-of-Q3 deadline!

Everyone out here has accused my of "singing MAT's praise" and similar, just for critically investigating the situation and trying to get some REAL answers. Well-well.

Yours is actually the FIRST USABLE report that I see on anything-MAT and on MAT boxes actually existing -- guess that I could have talked to you right inside your own pool message board, had I known that you're in on those MAT pre-orders ;)

Marc still deserves LOTS of discredit for their amateurish handling the entire situation, for not responding to e-mails, for sitting on pre-order money and stonewalling buyers, and for trying to "sit out" as much of these delays as possible, and then some, which are faults in their own sphere (not mine).

This is  not the way to do business, and they will have to improve on that or shut down their ridiculous two-person weekend operation altogether. They have NOT DELIVERED as promised, and those full-mouthed promises were B-I-G. This is their mistake, and legally it is misrepresentation. Very disappointed to see that this "unregulated" (which should actually be a good thing!) business attracts so many sore losers, con-artists, unemployed who want to get rich quick, as well as unprofessional moonlighters not delivering anything useful.

Yes, these are "experimental" products -- but, then again, why are Zeus miners all over the place, delivered on time, running nicely etc? And why not, AT THE VERY LEAST, alleviate the other troubles and hiccups by reliable and reasonable customer communications?!

This would go a long way in preventing these unnecessary "scammer" accusations. Also, their pathetic attempt to "secure" themselves by the kind of General Terms they are using (KnC-style) is quite telling. "Unfair contract terms" at it's best :))

BTW, was yours a "Batch-1" delivery? (I "am" in Batch 2 myself :( but at least things seem to be moving a bit at MAT now)...

What's your question?

The **question** was if there's any "fundamental" news behind e-marks and its recent price activity. Plain and simple, eh. No flaming, no hearsay, no garbage, please. Straight question, straight answer.

So if anyone could come forward and enlighten me, that would be much appreciated. **Real** answers only please, no FUD, no second-rate gossip.

Thanks again.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DeM] Deutsche eMark - DEM - cryptocoin SHA256 POS/POW on: October 18, 2014, 08:55:15 PM
Oh yeah we're still waiting for this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=310939.msg4495798#msg4495798

But i'm sure devs are active and take care of this coin.  ::)

that doesn't answer my questions -- as usual here (what a waste of time)! Wonder why I'm only a "full member" at this stupid outift???

Oh my.

Thanks -- if that's the best you all can do...

Fu**ing awesome Bzzzum! Great job!

BTW. Will buy big amount of DEM, if You have more then 20 000 PM with offer.

it's  T H A N (and then some) -- learn some English first, man.

this coin is dead, it's so difficult to accept?

Yep!   8)

Oh, your dead coin just jumped from 765 sat this morning to 1160+ sat now in the evening. Hashrate jumped from 20 to almost 40 TH.

WOW. So dead coin. Much buy. Such cheap. To the moon and beyond ...

Anyone is able to make a pumpNdump, this doesn't mean the coin is not dead.

I Trade DEM when price was 70K. Now is 1K? 2? Maybe 3K? It's more than twenty times lower than the price when DEM was launched and was added to Cryptsy.

you can call it a "Dead cat bounce", if you will. It could be something more than that though. That's exactly what I'm trying to find out: maybe, there ARE some "fundamentals" behind this (other than cornering-up the price, I mean)? Any pointers, any merchants coming online who accept DEM, any other "good news" here perhaps?

It's NOT "pump-and-dump", BTW, as that primarily refers to mining in this space. (Try and be clear about what you're talking at all, will you.)

About that old 70K price: this doesn't mean anything, all (Alt) coins go through that development leaving behind Tractrix curves. Just check ANY coin price. This is not to say that e-marks are out of the woods forever, but who knows what's next...

Will keep watching that one anyway!

Also from me a sincere happy birthday for the eMark!

Maybe we can give the eMark new functionality and a support team as birthday present!   8)

@ Alicea :: My guess is that we haven't seen the best of eMark yet   ;D

yepp, it seems you're spot on, guys!!

About that "birthday present": in order to increase worldwide appeal what would you guys think of putting together a REALLY GOOD presentation that includes E-mark information in multiple languages; anyone interested in supporting this/contributing additional languages?

(Also, some PROPER German is needed in the first place; that thing that's currently out there is R-U-B-B-I-S-H really, poor style, not-so-good presentation logic, written by high-school dropouts or something, it seems, totally embarrassing anyway. I know, "Deutsche Sprache, schwere Sprache" -- but maybe even a few more native German speakers should get it one day: it needs to be **die** Coin oder **die Münze** (not at all "der", look it up in your own darn Duden thing out there, in order to name just one example).

We could add a lot to make this more attractive. Even the legal (and tax) framework is in existence inside Germany with that rather favourable ruling Frank Schäffler squeezed out of the Bundesfinanzministerium by way of "Erlaß" in August 2013 that **all** Crypto coin profits are tax-free for individuals if a 12-month cooling-off period or "Spekulationsfrist" is observed. (Some "tax gift" if done properly!)

Maybe e-marks could be polished up even further to add worldwide appeal, old-German-mark-style, even though a PoS reward or "interest" of just 3% p. a. doesn't compare too favourably with, say, Mintcoin. Rate-of-exchange increases could make up for it though, particularly in light of last weeks' movements!

I'll second that -- any gues what's behind the increasing price frenzy going on for the last (few) week(s) now?? Have yet to find a viable explanation, but this looks really nice :))

Any "fundamentals" behind this? Any educated guesses and comments would be appreciated!
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LitecoinDark (LTCD) | Scrypt | Tor | Bounty Opportunities on: October 01, 2014, 07:55:09 PM
Hey maybe the shit English
Is from Chinese to English using google translate
The market has changed people are sick of this shit

nope, hardly Chinese -- it's just Kraut garbage: pri-mine is a good hint for that (because both the Dutch and Germans would pronounce that as "pree" mine, all that's missing is some "mijn" respectively "mein" for the mine part)! Also note that Oktober bit spelled with a "k" and you'll see where we are headed here.

Still, they should get some basic proof-reading, indeed (but that's just another very-Dutch or very-German trait, failing to ask for support because they're always thinking they are oh-so right and "great" already).

So with all those "dark" ingredients and that almost notorious privacy obsession going on in Germany, this one could even be a valid coin (maybe). Much depends on how things are actually going -- and whether the devs (without a Linux wallet and just Windoze) will succeed in attracting real Privacy and Anonymity buffs; simply true Crypto coiners, that is.
30  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [In Stock] Batch 8! Gridseed miners in Stock in Los Angeles. [$225] on: August 29, 2014, 11:06:53 AM
Just received my Zeusminer Blizzard yesterday. Once again, Zoomhash got it here faster than the postal service's website could acknowledge :D The machine is ok. Gridseed was easier to get working, but it does perform as advertised without tweaking. I will be tweaking :D

I continue to be a very satisfied customer.

me too -- different model, same company, great service.

Compare this to almost all of the others out there who don't seem to know the first thing of running similar businesses. Zoomhash swooshed our box right to the backwaters of socialist f*cking Sweden where we currently fester (mentally, that is, because of all those ladies-bike riding losers in this country, but still enjoying the outdoors and some surprisingly good freedom aspects that place has to offer)...

Not one tiny problem with the order anyway as they skipped fraudulent UPS and used DHL instead (the only carrier actually working here). Well done Zoomhash, impressed really!
31  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: August 28, 2014, 03:06:36 PM
you really don't get it, do you??

Also, for the record, I did not "recommend" that people order there as I am not so sure myself how my "sining praise" (where??) will work out in the end.

To be fair though, people are presumed innocent until proven guilty, and you guys whining around in the forum and calling to lynch them on the basis of wholly unfounded claims are quite juvenile...

It's all a matter of behaviour (and style).

I wish I could send you back in time to late 2012 and force you to pre-order from every single ASIC company that has ever posted here.  You'd be broke as fuck and have maybe 4 miners out of the 25 you ordered.

There's a reason people here are so quick to jump on the "scam" bandwagon, and that reason is because 80% of the ASIC "companies" that have posted their shit here have been scams.

I'm with all the others that have seen this over and over, you probably got ripped off.  Sorry bout' that.

yeah, "probably" (what's that supposed to be good for??) or probably not -- who knows?

And you would go and include those "innocent 20%" in your lynching then? These are very dangerous world views. How extremist do we want to become, shall we all join Obama and his NSA thugs now in order to be even "more secure"? These days it seems that even Bitcoiners need a nanny, wow. Thanks, but I'll pass.

Yes, I have had my fair share of shenanigans played on me, and not only since 2012 and not only in Crypto land. So I think I know what I am talking about. Yes, I have been ripped off myself (elsewhere), but that doesn't mean that I treat everyone like sh*t as long as they don't deserve it...

There is still absolutely no substance in all these "scam" claims here, so it's not helpful at all, just a waste of time. It would be a different thing if just ONE person came forward to break out some proof and tell the world that they are not going to deliver on Batch 1. ONLY THEN there would be a story.

To stress it once again, M. A. T. B/V are quite ridiculous and their way of going after their business is idiotic and not business-like. So far, they do not appear to be fraudsters though. Be reasonable.

so how is it going?

any machine delivered? any update?

Its a scam company, don't bump the thread.

still the same nonsense here and still based on HEARSAY only. Come on, guys...!

Yeah, "scam-scam-scam till her daddy took the T-Bird away". And you really have nothing more to show for all your chattering Smiley

I'll give you some: there's no sign of them (Mining ASICs Tech B. V.) being any "scam", but they seem to be as second-rate as most of the other mining manufacturers out there, not good at managing their projects, meeting deadlines, ridiculously poor quality customer communications, and not good at keeping anyone informed, not keeping promises and deadlines for updates etc etc...

BUT: they are inching forward baby-step by baby-step and should have their "Batch 1" stuff out soon. Cannot really tell myself (as I am unfortunately in "Batch 2"), but at least they are DOING SOMETHING.

"A scam" would be when someone or a group of people make shiny promises and collect the pre-payments without ever delivering anything nor the intention to deliver eventually. (Not sure if everyone out there really knows what they are talking about when throwing around "big words" like that)!

So, for all those big-mouthed strongmen out there, M. A. T. are apparently quite mediocre but NOT A SCAM.

By your own description they can be stated as a scam until they deliver the units on spec. Since they have missed the original shipping date and haven't actually provided any actual hashing proof or provided dogie with a miner i would not advise ordering from them. I would also not advise ordering from anyone unless they can provide proof of a prototype or they are already shipping miners. I haven't seen them deliver an on spec miner yet so for now i wouldn't personally order from them or recommend ordering from them to others also the issue of them trying to pass of someone else's miners as their own is a bit suspicious. Also the fact that the miner that they claim to be a "prototype" of the miner is considerably lower spec then they are claiming.

you really don't get it, do you??

Also, for the record, I did not "recommend" that people order there as I am not so sure myself how my "singing praise" (where BTW??) will work out in the end.

did you "invest"?

--> yes, I did ("Batch 2" though, as said above), so this thing should show within the next four weeks or so, unless they want to rank even lower on *keeping* their promises. Currently the due date is officially "September"...

I guess, we'll know a lot more once it becomes clear whether or not "Batch 1" is delivered -- and when!

38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Scrypt Asics on Litecoin and other scrypt coins on: July 12, 2014, 07:18:30 PM

The one thing that impresses me the most about Scrypt Asic is the ability of people to spam about a non existent vaporware.

Scrypt Asics - Theoretically possible

Economically Feasible - Not in the next few years.

~BCX~

It will be here way sooner then that! Just needed to quote you here so I can come back when I get my AlphaT's  up and running.

do you have any news about AphaTs' delivery status (or rather -willingness)?? Currently a bit confused about the news coming out of Britain...
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: July 12, 2014, 04:06:59 PM

Could someone, please, paste the script of this nonsense he is talking?

Please!

 :o

That "crowdy audience yesterday" Coumans mentions could be either of

-a rowdy audience,
-a Krauty audience (which I'm sure the Maastricht kid would have been happy with...)

or maybe

-a cloudy audience (in case Hong Kong is subject to those global Chemtrailing crimes against humanity or "weather engineering" as well)...

Pretty sure he didn't mean crowded, for then he just could have said so *)

Anyway, just forget about it, he's talking garbage and doesn't even mention any of their products or what they're doing. That whole bit is exhibition smalltalk and "how great" that bloody expo is supposed to have been (pretty sure it was the lamest-ever, glad I didn't bother going there, you can read about it in all blogs and forums anyway); totally immaterial when it comes to mining hardware. So, again, we have absolutely nothing yet on MAT's ability (or inability) to deliver -- and deliver more or less on time :(

---

*) not really a native English speaker myself, but one ought to, at least, try and learn one's stuff before going out there to try and make a killing. Ouch.

I mean, while clearly appreciating the "start-up nature" of everything Bitcoin out there, I am wondering why there are so few reasonable players involved here. Take a good look around (and check them out for verification): from Bips.me and CryptoRush.io exchanges to Miner.eu or MAT, it's just your average **second-rate unemployed bum** running those "businesses".

And that's too bad.
40  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Mining ASICs Technologies Promises 6TH/s Bitcoin Miner And 200 MH/s Scrypt Miner on: July 12, 2014, 03:46:46 PM
See the differences between spondoolinse and shit MAT. The first show real asic, the second show only a fucking face.

yes, I do see the difference, I am not that much of a moron or something -- and it's a big difference, indeed, as far as the overall approach shines through. The Israeli guy is professional, cool, relatively seasoned in Bitcoin terms, and he know what he's talking about. Still, it proves nothing as far as allegations go of MAT being a scam. They are newcomers, and it shows. Maybe, they'll move up the scale soon once they have real products out and released on the market. Also, the krauts (or rather cheese-heads) rarely look very good, and they usually are appaulingly bad public speakers, you have to give all those Dutch or German characters out there a little credit. It's the best they can do :) , always has been that way.

I mean, you guys aren't really basing your good (or bad) opinion of something on superficial stuff like this?! This will get you nowhere. Seriously, I am looking for a bit more than just hearsay...

Anyone??
