Hi miner765
Well, measuring as usual, from my experience: 1. Price 2. new/used card 3. Hash-power 4. watts
So the winners are: 1. R9 270X/270, approx. 185 watts. Can be still found new. Nice hash(420 on average) 2. 7790. Almost perfect: approx. 85 watts and 220 kH. Fairly cheap, can be found new if u are lucky. 3. 7770 and 7750. I'd say those are just "for fun" nowadays. 80watts and approx. 170 kH.
There is a bunch of other older cards.
Mining on any Nvidia, except reported above is a LOL as per me, in matter of particularly ur question.
Hope this helps ya.
How much do 270X and 270 go for?

So what's the current best combination up to 200W if you have all the other components? I could fit 4 more cards into the MB.
4x GTX 750ti... Can you run them on 1 PC with ATI cards?

Which card would you suggest to mine on for under 200W power consumption?

Anybody interested in buying some Raspberry PI+AC Adapter+SD Card with Hashra Controlla loaded? PM me ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Having 0 accepted shares in 45 mins is not normal. Im using cgminer on 5x GSDs which have been running non-stop for 3.5 days. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FLDVhZFf.png&t=663&c=rqzgMCmDOviMVg) As you can see from the pix, im getting plenty of accepted shares... Nice stats, you are getting really few HW errors.

Is it only me that hashra controlla shows 7.2mh/s and pool shows around 6-6.5?
What pool are you mining on? Gridseed chips are at their best when you set the pool difficulty to 64. Most pools allows you to hint the difficulty (wafflepool put d=64 as password) Scryptguild. Will try setting difficulty to 64, had it on 256.

How the heck do you write that huge hashra image to an SD Card?

So you do have two fans blowing onto them. I was talking about a completely fanless setup.

I'm interested - could they be hashing slower or reporting "blank shares" if they have absolutely no fan around them? (at 850MHZ)
|
|
|
A theoretical question: could they be hashing weaker if there is absolutely NO fan by the miners? Stock would be detached and no fan blowing into them.

Did anyone try making/made a autostart script for pi in case in restarts? e.g. when power restarts -pi starts mining automatically. I think it would be really helpful. And I personally would tip a few coins ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

And a stupid question - what do red LED's mean? (green are power, correct?)

Would anyone be interested in buying the Raspberry PI+SD+Power Adapter with loaded cgminer? Plug and play package for gridseed. One is good for 20 miners. I ended up having extra two, willing to sell a little lower than retail price.

Would anybody be interested into buying those? Raspberry PI+PSU+SD Card (8GB)+ALL loaded and configured for mining.
Basically plug-and-play package for gridseeds. If so, what price would be good for you? I currently have two available.

Have a question...would it be possible to inline a small power switch to the black fan wire? I was thinking of inlining this switch on the black fan wire so that I can turn the fan on/off as needed. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9609Thoughts? Yes there's no problem with it, except that you need to safely isolate the switch pins since they will lie near or in contact with the aluminium fins What about a lump of hot glue on solder points to prevent contact with the heat sink? What would happen if the wires from fans do touch the "body" of the miner? Or are not isolated well enough after fans have been cut.

Is anybody else's "Accepted Shares" on cgminer not matching pool data?
Hashra emailed me today: 11:20 AM (6 hours ago) We are just about to upload a new img onto hashra.com/support in the next 12 hours. This sorts out some bug fixes, maybe better to use that one if you can. Also please make sure you update the firmware for when using for the first time. Just click on "UPDATE CONTROLA". I'm using standard cgminer.

I just took apart the regular gridseed PSU. You can take a fan off really easy, it's a 2-pin connector. So did anybody try to keep it working without the fan? It has a really annoying sound.
I would assume that as long as you never run SHA or put too may loads (pods) on it. running with no fan will be okay. Do not let it get HOT. It should only ever run warm to the touch. Again, never hot! Otherwise, put a quieter fan in it and let it eat! Wolfey2014 Yep, that is exactly what I will do. Ordering a few of more quiet fans and will stick them in there.
