Same Here. I have all invalid share. I use x86 version and running with GT 630M (Avg on 1200 kHash/s) Here the loading screen Could you please download the "debug" version from the dropbox folder and post the info from that? It includes additional information that will make troubleshooting easier. Debug version didnt work for me, i think its x64 and my windows is 32bit (x86) Thanks for fast respond I don't expect it to. I need you to run it and post the information from it. (It displays more information before failure, so it will make fixing things easier for me)

mining with 2 x R9 290 - current draw from wall is only 460kw with xpt miner, gpu temp is 70 getting 31940kh/s
when I use these cards for scrypt-jane, they pull 600kw from wall and run at 80 degree
scrypt-jane is brutal. It's about as GPU hard as you can get while still actually being able to run it on a GPU. Right now the biggest bottleneck with Metiscoin GPU mining is the memory bandwidth. It uses 8 semi-large lookup tables and calls them a few hundred times per hash, slowing the whole thing down. So for the time being, it's probably more fair to compare MTC mining wattage to BTC mining wattage. I'm still working on optimizations though, so stay tuned. I'll make some more progress eventually.
It would be very nice to have a i686 (32bit) compability for all old good BAMT users...
There's already a 32-bit version released. It's the one labeled xptMiner-GPU-x86-v1.X.zip
Is this for metiscoin only or can it be used for any other coin?
This miner works only for Metiscoin. Metiscoin requires chaining three hash algorithms: keccak -> shavite -> fugue. If you modify the miner to simply be keccak, then it can be used to mine Maxcoin, but there's already a GPU miner for that, so I didn't bother.

Hello, Thanks for your great work and everything else, but I am facing with a few problems. First one is when I downloaded this version I setup, changed the .bat with my information and here is the problem. Picture 1And I am using the following info -o ypool.net -u causevd.mtc -p x -d 1 For that one, you'll want to change "-d 1" to "-d 0". Device 00 corresponds to your video card and Device 01 doesn't exist so you get an error message. and I get the following error Picture 2Btw I am using a laptop for mining. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. That error means that your laptop video card is taking too long to run the processing loop. When the video card is working, it stops responding to other things, so Windows thinks your video card crashed/hung. In the next release I'll be adding a feature to tune the work "intensity". Once that build is out, I'll send you a PM and help you get it working on your laptop. In the mean time, consider using the CPU miner for the laptop.

I have HD5770 and HD4870
5770 can run it normal, but 4870 get down,I think maybe OPENCL version made this,(4870 is OPENCL 1.1 or 1.0?),can fix it?pleaseeeee.
I have try the debug version, the same.
The Radeon HD 4 series doesn't fully support modern OpenCL, so it will not work no matter what.

I can't make the GPU miner work on this computer Every time I open it this happens: It doesn't matter if i use -d 0 or -d01 etc. The original CPU miner works fine. I am using a HD6800 series. PS It's in norwegian, but you get the point Try running the debug version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9bf5efl77vi6t3o/xptMiner-GPU-v1.4-debug.zipIt displays more information, so it might be more useful. Also, be sure to update your video card drivers and make sure it supports OpenCL.

So far so good. Add a "-d 2" to the end of your command as a test. Let it mine long enough to submit 5 shares or so (valid or invalid). It will be mining with your CPU, so it won't be nearly as fast. This we help me determine if the issue is hardware or code.
Let me know if it gets any valid shares.
15 shares: valid: 0 invalid: 15 Taking off to work so will try something later if you have an idea. Also tried running it on the R9280x and the same. Invalids. I feel like we might be getting somewhere with this. I've uploaded a debug build to the dropbox page. Here's a direct link for convenience: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9bf5efl77vi6t3o/xptMiner-GPU-v1.4-debug.zipCould you run that and post the information you provided earlier? It should include a few extra parameters. At this point my next hunch is that we might be dealing with an big-endian/little-endian issue. What operating system are you using and what version of OpenCL do you have installed? Also, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me debug this issue. I know how frustrating it can be.

Different user but I get all invalid shares.
My 1 and 2 looks just like what you posted. Command line is: start /low xptminer.exe -o ypool.net -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD -d 0
Just using a R7 250. It went from 2,200 kh/s to 2,500 kh/s.
If you're using an R7 250, your #1 should look different from mine. Also, I'm assuming USERNAME and PASSWORD are your worker name and password? Can you post your device listing? I'd like to see if the code runs properly on your CPU but not your GPU. It should look like this: Available devices: Platform 00: Intel(R) OpenCL Device 00: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 Platform 01: AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing Device 01: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz

gigawatt can u help me fix this: http://s4.postimg.org/r6amus7rx/image.jpgits stat of less than 1 minutes with a 7770 on win7 x64 and im getting 0000 shares in ypool with this miner, but it works fine on few more PCs I can do my best to help. I'll need three things from you: 1) When you run the miner, what's the first few lines that pop up on screen? It should look something like this: Initing device 0... Initializing GPU 0
============================================================ Device information for: Cypress CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE: 1048576 kb CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_CACHE_SIZE: 0 kb CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_SIZE: 32 kb CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_TYPE: CL_LOCAL CL_DEVICE_MAX_WORK_GROUP_SIZE: 256
2) What's the version number that shows when you run the miner? The newest version should show xptMiner (v1.1) + GPU Metiscoin Miner (v0.3gg) 3) What command do you run to launch the miner?

Wonderful job, gigawatt, I am really admire your afford to make the miner this beauty One small question, the donation will be sent to your account or the pool (ypool.net for example). I am setting at 5%, but I am worry maybe somehow you are not the receiver. Thank again for your sharing, The donation amount that you specify in the miner is split between myself and Girino (he wrote the original GPU miner). You can actually verify that the developers are receiving coins by going to "view connected miners" and verifying the donation percent: http://ypool.net/mtc/workers_liveIf you wanted to donate to yPool instead of us, you'd update the percentage under your account page: http://ypool.net/mtc/account_options

Update your miners! I've released an update that includes a 5% speed bonus along with some additional debugging info. If you were having issues with performance or compile errors, please try this new program. If you continue having issues, please post the device info from the beginning of the log. It should look something like this: Initing device 0... Initializing GPU 0
============================================================ Device information for: Cypress CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_SIZE: 1048576 kb CL_DEVICE_GLOBAL_MEM_CACHE_SIZE: 0 kb CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_SIZE: 32 kb CL_DEVICE_LOCAL_MEM_TYPE: CL_LOCAL CL_DEVICE_MAX_WORK_GROUP_SIZE: 256

Great, 3x 280x went from 27000 to 39000 with the same power consumption!
Is that per card or total? :O

I have a older 4950 till the new rig arrives(thank you taxes)
That's the issue right there. The 4-series Radeon cards only support OpenCL 1.0 which is super old. It looks like the current APP SDK requires a 5-series or higher. Sorry mate.

Using te 64bit version i keep getting a compile error? I can use my cpu with this program just fine but when i go to turn on gpu it errors out anyone had this issue?
Odd. What video card? Try adding this before the first line of miner.cl: #pragma OPENCL EXTENSION cl_khr_byte_addressable_store : enable I'm having the same problem, with an Intel 5200 GPU. The above solution actually made it look like it's going to compile, but crashed a little later with similar error (to the one I already posted) I wish I had an Intel chip to test on. It would probably make thing easier than guess and check. What happens if you add the #pragma line to the top of each of the .cl files?

can you make a version that works for solo mining?
I might be able to work on one. I'll need to look up how the RPC miners work. Solo mining uses a completely different protocol than pool mining.

around 3480kh/s on a HD 6670
GPU 850MHz RAM 900MHz
any chance to get more?
What did you get with the original GPU miner?

seems now start confirming transactions... very strange delay in confirmations...
the net speed dumped to 9.5 gh/s from 13 gh/s. I wonder if it's more people swapping over to GPU mining or updating to the newer version.
