We are building a credit score system. So lenders can decide how much risk they want to take. If somebody pays back his/her loan properly his/her credit score will rise, otherwise fall. So everyone can know who is an honest borrower, people with a high credit score can get more money with a low-interest rate.
Therefore borrowing a smaller amount won't need collateral.

I think it's one of the reasons why crypto would not stand alone without the help of fiat currency. As we can see we do trades crypto in such products and services because we know there are merchants who accept it as a payment and cash it out with fiat currency.

So you guys think cryptocurrency would stand alone without a fiat currency?

I think we won't need fiat when the weakness of the cryptocurrencies will be sold.

I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?

I see no point in borrowing a token. In real life, loans are taken to buy something.
The only reason you can borrow a token is that if you know that it will soon fall in price, you borrow it and sell it for Ethereum or other currency. The price drops, you buy the necessary number of tokens to repay the debt, and you keep everything else as a profit.

Actually, I started this topic cause we develop a P2P lending platform and a commercial platform where the borrowed money can be spent.

What if the cryptocurrency in which you can borrow have a stable price and the interest is lower than in fiat?

I think it is impossible to borrow crypto money. Because crypto is constantly changing and losing value quickly it has no stability. therefore you cannot risk the loan, its price is not sustainable.

What if when a cryptocurrency has a stable price?

I have never seen like this kind of airdrop till date. Why do I need to send message on facebook? Are you doing another type of KYC? I recommend using a spreadshit for the response would be better. If you have problem with that, leave me a PM please.

We decided to use Facebook messenger because it is the most simple way for most people.
Why don't you use spreadsheet for collecting data? Isn't it a good idea? Also sending message on facebook is much of shit work. I think you understand what I meant. You will not get much response there.

I am thinking about how to automatize the process, but I will more likely use some json based process, so at the and I can easily send to every participant the token.
Actually for many people sending a message on Facebook is the simplest thing, many people are always logged in Facebook

Borrowing inside this kind of market is really a tough decision to make, even such token have a low volatility the market trends have a very unpredictable movements, the amount of crypto depends to its pairs so who knows what would be the based form when borrowing and paying after, there's a lots of factors to take place for this.

Would you borrow in that currency?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 09, 2019, 06:10:37 PM
For a coin you can't actually predict its performance. Borrowing in cryptocurrency market is a quick ticket to bankruptcy. Please always endeavour to spend within your reach. Invest what you can afford to loose. Simple!
You really made a point here. I have not borrowed money in cryptocurrency before,  but I once asked my friend about it, cause there was a time I needed money and was considering going for a loan and then I Thought abt cryptocurrency loan and my friend said it?s a bad idea cause I?m not even sure where the market is heading to at the moment, so it would be a huge risk to do that.

There isn?t any difference between borrowing money in cryptocurrency and the standard loan you collect from banks. It?s the same thing,  you just borrow money and after a while you pay back the money you borrowed plus the interest on it. I have never borrowed money from cryptocurrency before, don?t even have time for such,  neither have I borrowed money from banks. I don?t do that.

There can be a difference borrowing in crypto or in fiat. If you borrow in crypto via smart contract there is no need for a third party, so the margin of lending can be lower, the lender can gain higher profit while the borrower needs less to pay.

Would you borrow or lend with conditions of MaxiCredit?

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in? on: April 08, 2019, 07:30:34 PM
New projects tokens like MC2 of MaxiCredit - maxicreditcompany.com - can gain much more than ETH.
You can build a portfolio with lower risk tokens like ETH and with higher risk tokens.

For example, MC2 gained 230% in the last 6 weeks.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 08, 2019, 03:41:10 PM
I guess I would totally "borrow" crypto currency but who would lend me crypto that is the question. There used to be places where people could borrow money and others lend them money but people are smart they increased their trust ratings by getting money and repaying countless times and than after a while increasing the amount making it suspicious and yet paid those back to and eventually after a while they just decided not to pay back if the number gets big enough.

That is the level of shady business goes on in bitcoin world when lending is mentioned and there is a lending page here on bitcointalk where you can see people lose money lending others more than they make money so it makes no sense to lend anyone crypto. That is why "borrowing" is quite easy to answer but lending is impossible.

With a well functioning credit score system, the risk of lending can be minimized.

Probably tokens will have 2 types, one of them will work as ownership tokens with high price volatility. Tokens which will be used as currency will have low volatility, otherwise, they can't work as currency.

Why would anybody borrow in cryptocurrency?
Because if you borrow in a coin which price is stable then it can be done with a lower interest rate as in fiat, cause there is no need to third parties like a banks.
