The bad pools have caused enforcement not to work correctly, basically what's happening is they continued to mine the invalid chain with a lot of hashpower and ended up getting our clients into safemode, which automatically disables masternode payments. I'm writing a patch for 11.1.25 to fork and ban their clients. It will be available soon.
If you're having any issues, just restart with --reindex
Write it so they are banned for at least a week... longer if possible. malicious little punks. No way of really doing that as they would just generate a new primary mining address and be on their way. ban the IP... a bit more of a hassle to change than the wallet address... or if you want to be even more punitive in nature... ban that wallet address from sending any transactions to the network for a month or so... yeah they got the coin... but they can't do anything with it... probably not a good idea in the over all scheme of things PR wise but damn it would be nice to smash some fingers beyond them ever being able to use a keyboard again. As frustrating as it is, manipulating the blockchain es no bueno. I'd love to see their pool fail though from miners leaving. They're a bunch of twats. True statement... anybody have a street address for these boneheads? we can get it taken care of old school. |

Well your T/A's better than mine cos I am the bear that's trapped  Thought I would have a bit of fun and dump a bit at the start of the 4-hour correction thinking it would go to about 11 or 10. Now I'm underwater already with my little short. I remember back at the big rise last spring there were tons of bear traps on the way up. They sometimes lasted for a few days, so you could well be right. Sorry to hear you got stuck on this one... It seems to me that there is still steady up pressure on the market even after all that volume going to the down side. It just blows my mind 50+ masternodes changed hands over the course of a 4 hour period. I wonder how much of that is going to show up on the network as new masternodes over the next couple days. |

Correct me if i'm wrong... but didn't SDC copy/pasta masternodes from Darkcoin? Not sure about the Harold part but you definately got the child part right. NO YOU'RE WRONG. Evan wanted SDC tech. You got it ass backwards. Actually If I remember correctly it was because you all had a cool wallet... and Evan doesn't have time for the piddly window dressing bullstuff. |

Hello fellow darkcoiners!
Can anyone point me a link to a guide for setting up darkcoin daemon wallet on my mining rig so I can try to mine solo?
I'm running my GPU rig on debian wheezy and it runs sgminer with poolmanager software. with the low profits of mining, I like to stop mining on pools and toy with solo mining.
My hashrate is tiny, about 23MH/s.
Here is a copy of my darkcoin.conf that i use for solo mining... put it in your .darkcoin folder rpcuser=rpcusername rpcpassword=whateveryouwant rpcallowip=192.168.1.* rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=7903 server=1 listen=1 hope that helps |

The waiting for page 4000 is killing me.
We haven't talked about changing the logo or name for a few hundred pages.
That always creates some feverish posting.....How about changing the name to otohcoin?
I'd like to submit HBC... Hookers and Blow coin... has a nice ring to it and being anonymous not even Vegas needs to know. |

Would be nice to see that massive buywall raise from 63000 to 65000 on the exchanges. =D

anybody syncing stuck on block 179875?
Nope yup. cool now. thx Now Im synced I still see the message below. I am running latest OSX wallet (16.16). Can I safely ignore this warning. What gives? Thanks  The message is clear, if your client is up to date some nodes in the network have to install 0.10.16.16. No The message is clear, The wallet still isn't done synching with the network... notice the out of synch message. Or he's running an old version of the wallet. |

Cool thefrog pointed out the relevant resources for me Other than the guide on https://bitbucket.org/dstorm/p2pool-drk.git isn't 100% correct... the software runs on port 7903. I think he was going to change it to those ports but then didn't or something like that. |

Yeah I had the problem with the QT wallet a couple weeks ago... had to create a new wallet and transfer all the dust payments over to the new wallet address. Importing the privkey doesn't work to clean it up but that was also with about 4 or 5 months worth of mining before I had any issues to speak of.
There is a decent guide on darkcointalk in the mining section from a couple months back I think. I'll go take a quick look to see If I can find it.
