Anyone else getting connection issues / fail to connect in the last hour or so?  Other pools work fine.

I think at this point a Bernankesky acknowledgement might do more  Tongue
24  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Official CGMINER thread - CPU/GPU miner in C for linux/windows/osx on: August 17, 2011, 02:26:32 PM
Apologize if it was already addressed or noted somewhere but I cannot seem to find it.  Is it possible to set Intensity per GPU?  If not, would that be something difficult to add?  I like being able to manage each GPU individually and in my case, one of my GPUs isn't always a dedicated miner while the other is.
Unfortunately there is not a way to do that at the moment. In the readme you'll see it recommends running 2 instances of cgminer selecting which GPUs to use. Use one instance in dynamic mode and the other with a set intensity.

Good idea.  I don't know why I didn't see that.... I'll give it a shot, thanks!

Attains Soak Homo

Satan Hooka Moist
Astonish Oak Atom
Khan Oasis Tomato
Aha Atoms Its Nook
Aha Tomato Kiss On
Aha Soak Mints Too

.....

Thomas Nasakioto = Satoshi Nakamoto

The fun part is that Thomas doesn't even have to be the original Satoshi. He can just be some Fred that wanted to play an anagram game to get people stirred up.

True. Maybe Satoshi is really Thomas Nasakioto  Huh

Highly doubtful, he wouldn't have started Ixcoins with so many faults and moreover, seemingly incapable of coding beyond variables.

Isn't mining solo better in this i0coin situation?

Should be but it isn't.  There are some high powered players in it right now and combined with i0 guild, it's almost impossible.  The chain underwent multiple separations since the start but now has settled what appears to be i0 guild chain version.  I lost a few thousand i0coins in the process, so to speak.

I'm still solo mining but I haven't hit any new valid blocks.  Ironically, my one and only block is from i0 guild in which my share is the entire block.  But I can't connect to them anymore so.

Who is User 478??? You are really starting to piss me off with your luck/insane-hashing-power.  How fast are you running?

probably eleuthira

I would think he'll be User 1.

I'm always #1 Smiley.

Any word on the connection issues?  I can't connect to i0guild... when I do, its only for 10-20 seconds, rejected shares...  idle... then disconnected for a few minutes again
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I0 Guild - I0Coin Pool from BTC Guild on: August 16, 2011, 10:12:57 PM
Anyone else having connection issues with the pool? Lots of disconnects and worker idles.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 10:11:58 PM
Just wonky all around, separated chains, even with current chain I generated some blocks in phoenix miner but they don't show in my client.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 09:35:24 PM
A bit of a disaster but I think this is a lesson that needed to be learned.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 09:15:44 PM
holy shit did I just get decimated.  All my blocks disappeared.

that sucks!!!!!!!!!!

I was expecting some to disappear but I guess i0guild took dominance over the chain and as a result, poof.  Oh well.  Interesting to say the least.

I did get 1 share / block reward 47.00 before I switched to solo Tongue
what port does solo need? 8332?

Yes.

i0guild is reaping right now... I had 30 some blocks that were generated and were down to 70 confirmations needed before i got the messages saying that they were not recognized by other bitcoin nodes and not valid anymore =(
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Ixcoin fork -> I0coin on: August 16, 2011, 09:05:36 PM
Make that 30+ previously generated blocks that have now turned invalid as per the message above.
