21  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: May 09, 2019, 12:53:29 PM
It depends on how you describe success. I consider gambling mostly as fun so I don't have a pressure on winning at all costs. Besides, I'm only using my free coins (FuturoCoins to be more specific, cause Futurobet, casino where I'm playing, is the only one which is supporting it, alongside with Bitcoin) to not be afraid of loosing too many money.

I used to gamble a lot, but i'm done right now. It was fun at the beginning but after a while i noticed that i spend too much time (and money of course) on this and i decided to partly let it go, i still have an account in futurobet affiliate program, just to have some passive income. The only gambling i do from time to time are sports bets , cause i am huge fan of english premier league and bundesliga - it's gives me a lot of fun to place bets with some of my mates and friendly laugh each other at those who lost and of course the tension during the round is more prominent

Most of the time it will be bitoin because it can be easily converted into fiat this is what most gamblers intention for gambling.

Many gambling sites have different cryptos as well for betting for the people who is holding only the altcoins but for me bitcoin is enough.

Exactly, you don't need altcoins for gambling, bitcoin is undeniably the best currency for online gambling and it's available almost everywhere now, f.e. CryptoGamble , but i really enjoy spending some altcoins that aren't as popular as eth or ltc on gambling, cause i have nothing better to do with them, due to the price drops.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investment now? on: May 08, 2019, 04:26:03 PM
There main rule of investing for me is that you should not invest all of your assets into one project, it's just to risky. There is always a risk though and you have to be aware of it any time.

I recommend you to start only if you have some savings which you can spare for investments. Only by this you will avoid situation when you are "enslaved" by the coins which you're holding. Remember that crypto are always risky. You can also choose projects which don't necessary need trading, for example new FuturoCoin masternode system will be rewarding its owners with passive incomes

Exactly, there are many more ways to earn some funds, gather some money in cryptoworld than just trade or hold and masternodes are really a good example of it. The key is to find a proper pool, that will give you nice income. It's not as risky as trading in my opinion, but you also have to be careful. Also such masternode pools usually requires a huge contribution so it's diffcult to start your investments from this point. I checked FuturoCoin medium, and they say that you need only 1000 FTO to become a masternoe owner which is pretty cheap, the income after a while is going to make up such expense for you.
24  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: FuturoBet is launching it's innovative blockchain gambling platform on: May 08, 2019, 04:14:04 PM
on their page https://futurobetnetwork.com, when you slide down a little, there is something called "roadmap", the steps futurobet wants to take to make company grow, and one of them is "Premier League Sponsorship" - does anyone know what it means? they want to ba a sponsor of the whole premiership or just one of the taems? is it done deal already?

I checked this on some premier league websites, but there is no official sponsorship deal between these two. Probably they are talking about one of the teams and it looks like they are aiming high for such cooperation, hope it will happen, the more cryptocurrencies are visible in real world, the better for whole industry in my opinion. And, the Premier League is the most popular football league in the world. I've seen Coindeal exchange on Wolverhampton t-shirts and i was very surprised. Also some time ago FuturoCoin which is available on Futurobet, beside Bitcoin of course started sponsoring F1 team.

Mostly i do gambling with bitcoins, cause of it's availability and safety, altcoins are not as valuable for me as bitcoin is. Even though i was very happy when i found a platform called futurobet where i could gamble with futurocoins, cause i have plenty of them. I think that i will hold all of my bitcoin now, and try to find some more altcoin-related gambling platforms
26  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Crypto innovation for you? on: May 08, 2019, 03:46:47 PM
To me, cryptocurrencies are generally innovative solution. People have a lot of profits from this, not only material goods(like money) but also existance of cryptos can provide a lot of fun, it's really addictive topic. I'm into investing and trading crypto news and I find it enjoyable. Recently, I heard some nice comments about our Polish altcoin - FuturoCoin and i'm really proud that even Poland made some contribution to this market.

Speaking of fto, recently they've signed a huge sponsorship deal with a huge brand - Formule 1 Red Bull Team Racing, which is one of the best teams in history of that competition: http://motorburn.com/2019/02/red-bull-f1-futurocoin-sponsor/

Actually i treat "crypto innovation" more like a bridge to something more, something that could change our economical world drastically. But first  we as a humanity need to change our approach and let go with some things. The blockchain technology is cool, but I think it is going to be needed more in the future, for us it's just an idea
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop chasing the "next" bitcoin on: May 08, 2019, 03:37:52 PM
It's true, altcoins are the best example of projects that are chasing bitcoin, due to the gainings it can offer. It's not something dire, don't get me wrong, I think it's even better for our economy to see such many altcoins out here, even though many of them are falling right now. I like projects that are trying to handle current situation like event hough there are tough times now for many altcoins. For example, one of my favourites altocins is FuturoCoin due it's fantastic community, and recently they changed their sourcecode and masternodes system, hoping for the best.

Bitcoin itself is really profitable even without the help of other altcoins but its better if you have both as investments. I guess people are just experimenting and take chances if they put all of their money in altcoins. Thats what trading is all about anyway.

I cannot disagree with that, it's true that cryptocurrency can change lives of human financial conditions, but there is always a risk though.
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 08, 2019, 03:29:08 PM
According to this topic, I've recently found out that in my country(Poland) it is possible to pay in several restaurants with FuturoCoin. I hope it would be more and more popular.

Yes it is, currently I am living in Wroclaw, so i had the opportunity to visit one of them and it looks pretty decent. They've even got a bitcoin/futurocoin atm or something like that.

There are also many other things you can buy with bitcoin, most of such transactions are online shopping stuff, but due to the law in many countries it's still difficult to operate with btc internationally.
29  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Has Been Hacked - Lost 7,074 BTC on: May 08, 2019, 03:13:37 PM
There was no “hack invasion”. The article says that the hacker got a big number of API and credentials from users by using phishing attacks, virus and other methods. Thus, the big problem wasn’t on the exchange, but on the users. The part which was Binance’s fault is that they couldn’t block the massive withdrawal of 7k BTC before it happened.

Exactly, but this is what Binance is saying, this is their official statement. I don't have any reasons to distrust them, but such it's very fragile situation. I agree with the fact that they should block this withdrawal or be prepared for it.
